《What if world is in TACTIC RPG mode (Tactical RPG World)》Side story on situation part 5

After the update, first enemies that most people face is the zombie excluding some areas that they meet other creatures, slowly and steadily skeletons join the zombies ranks, they are just moving bones that are weak against smashing (for an example the starting weapon rod work perfectly well against them) as they are almost resistant to slashing and bullets as bullets have more chances to pass through them even if bullets break a few of their bones same as for slashing or stabbing, they can still move but the humans always have ways to counter them like smash them using the butt of the rifle or use a hammer, maybe because skeleton are weaker than zombies or they are simply a pile of bones, they have much lower experience and drop rates than normal zombies but their numbers surely make up for this so called lack of loots for survivors
Undead are very patience on their attacks, through their constant siege in the combination of constant horde attacks, those are following threat that could be most annoying or life threatening in SLS.
1st on the list is the skeleton which first appears on the 3rd day after the update, as the military tried to contain by them through firing of the guns but it end up exhausting their troop strength and forcing them to save ammunition against whatever skeletons threats, as they have spawn against the zombie ratio 3 is to 1 plus they have 2 of the most annoying skill that is so called "dodge the bullets" as some bullets fly through their bones or block vision or accident block the bullets as they charge to the survivors with rusted weapons. A group of calm survivor fights them on front melee will wipe them instantly, those who choose to over depend on their guns or they overextend their area through spreading their defense line will find out that they exhaust their ammunition for expedition or defense than are wiped out due to lack of ammunition and medical supplies due to their overwhelming numbers.

2nd right after the list is Ghoul which is one of special zombie that appear on the 6th day. They consume other dead flesh to strengthen themselves, its teeth and fangs are covered in extreme poison or virus that will cause the one to turn another ghoul if affected. It is easy to identify ghoul from normal zombies as they smell worse than normal zombies and they are more like cowards in the battle so finding them running away is pretty common as a result they are one of the hardest to kill in the list.
They have high attack power, good at tracking, best in ambushes and also surprise attacks making the survivors hard to expand their borders as if there is a leftover survivor, they will quickly ambush that survivors, aim to kill or scratch their victims as it maybe increase their numbers if the wounds are not treated properly.
Normally a battle will always lead to another battle due to their tracking skill which eventually weakens the survivors if they choose to keep fighting and not to find a spot to reduce their blind spot. Having the safe spot that your allies can cover you can temporary allow you to rest but you will never escape their hunt as they will keep hunting you down to your team get to wipe out or you manage to kill them.
3rd is other survivors yeah you hear it correctly humans, morally humans will be less dangerous than other threats but now mankind themselves because of a bigger threat to themselves than other threats, humans will hunt another for easy EXP and you guys know survivor pack, even their meat can be eaten without much treatment. Plus free starting weapons from looting their bodies, what you do not like the starting weapons, just fuse it with the leftover bodies to improve your current weapon. The best part is no downsides at all, if the user of the weapon died another will pick up and use it to it almost break down then fuse it with other weapon or etc to repair it and the cycle repeats again and again in order to make the weapon stronger and more efficient. Like the man-eating tribe, this is man eating terrible in real life wearing powerful clothes and weapons basically mini bosses, some of them are same from the past with the system update they mass restart on their lifestyle, some is lazy or too scared to die so they begin to do this, most of them do blood ritual and etc and grant some gods of protection which make them even stronger and powerful ....

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.
