《Grieyes Mages - Unknownly Superior Type Magician》Chapter 11: I can see them?

“Uhhh…. You surprised me! Don’t do that!” I said.
At the same time, his appearance turn into human being.
“Hahaha, sorry about that…” He apologized.
Now that he came back, I will stab him with many questions. The level of my curiousity is way higher than anyone else. Seriously, I am the only person in this forest.
“Now that you have came back… Did you.. Umph!”
I was about to ask, then Swert suddenly pat my head and perform his psychometry.
“Hmm… hmm… I think you’ve trained well…” said, Swert.
“Is that so…?” said, I.
As Swert continues seeing my past four days, for some reason, he is shaking, and a bit sweating.
“Ma… May? Yu… you really did train a lot, huh?” said, Swert.
Huh? What’s with that face? His eyelid is quivering and he is also smiling bitterly. He didn’t meant it as a compliment, but he was stunned by how much time I’ve spent training continuously. Maybe, I did something wrong?
“Sigh, I didn’t expect that, I know that I said you’ll have to train continuously with one hour break every few hours. But I didn’t think you would do it seriously.”
He didn’t expect what?
“What do you mean by that? You mean, the continuous training?” said, I.
“Yes, but I never thought you’d train that so intense.” Said, Swert.
Hah! I bet he is thinking, like this ‘she is unbelievable, she exceeded my expectation.’
Like that hahaha.
“Sigh, May… I’ll be teaching you the basics of swinging the sword.”
Alright! I’ll be learning sword!
Ah… But before that, I have to ask many questions.
“Umm… Swert, about days ago… Did you secretly intervene when I am training alone?” I asked.
“No… Why did you ask?”

He is not lying, then was it coincidence then?
Sigh, then I’ll ask different a question then…
“Swert, about magic… I saw some kind of familiar characters when I saw your magic…”
When I said that, Swert was surprised and stopped walking after hearing that.
“Really? You saw that? I thought you don’t have magic.”
“Huh? What do you mean by that?”
“Those character you saw, is something you can never see. You are magicless as you said.”
*dumbfounded
I am magicless, and I don’t feel anything abnormal at all… But, he said that those characters is invisible to all magicless individual?
Am I special?
“Are you sure? You don’t have magic?” said, Swert.
“I don’t, but why?” I responded and asked.
“Let me cast a detection spell.”
Swert began casting a spell called Detection, it is also called Search Spell for wide range. His body began to radiate, dazzles in an overflowing pure white aura. He holds my palm with his right hand. The light of magic flows through my palm then to my arms, to my shoulder, and in the blink of an eye, my body bursts with white aura.
It’s like I possesses magic.
I felt like it really is, this feeling, I think…
“No you don’t…”, said, Swert in blunt tone.
Eh???
“You don’t possess magic at all…”
“Huh????????!!!”
But why am I shining? Wasn’t that magic? It is my magic right?
“It isn’t your magic, it’s mine. I just have to fill your body with mana to link up and connect to your very own core.”
The mana core is located inside the human body, attached next to a person’s heart.
“A mana core?”, I am curious as I don’t know what it means.
“Well, it is where most of mage’s mana stored. That is why, a mage tends to protect their chest where their mana is suppressed inside.”

He also told me that if the core is exposed, their entire body will explode. Like a self-destruction or suicide.
But like he said, I don’t possess mana at all. The only thing he finds weird is that I can see those characters floating. Even when he casted his detection spell on me, I saw it forming in front of me.
I see it clearly now as I look back.
Those characters… those characters are… actually forming a statement!
I keep saying characters… ughh those words like…
var – It means variable
eventFlow – well, I never saw this EventFlow, But I’ll assume it is a command or what makes magical spell form its appearance like an animation.
“May?? May…?”
While I am excited about realizing these stuff now, Swert saw me as if I am overjoyed.
“Uhh… ahhh Swert, sorry…”
“Hmm? You look happy just now.”
“No it’s nothing.”
---
But then again, I don’t have magic. Sigh, this is the worst.
And there’s no doubt about it, what I saw is actually Programming Codes!

“Listen May, what you just saw is called Language of Magic… Tough I don’t understand those symbols, but it appears when I cast magic spell. Think of it as my words being translated to that language.”
They call it Language of Magic?... Does he understand those characters?
Wait… Wait…
Looking back, I’ve come to realize, This world has different writing system.
Come to think of it, I don’t even know how to write… I’ve seen several symbols written in the signs, papers… but I never understood them. Ahh damn Why now??? Huh???

Summoner's Journey
[Before you read - the story is officially dead. The reasons behind it are posted in the last chapter.] In a magic world on the verge of an industrial revolution, Ari Ragnarsson must uncover the truth behind his parents' disappearance. They were part of an organization known as the Order, which protects mankind from various threats - both human and supernatural. Now, after Ari's brands finally manifest, he leaves the safety of his village and travels to the continent. Strength is all that matters in this world and he must learn how to control his powers. There, he meets a man from another world, who's being hunted for merely existing. Their fates become intertwined, but not in a way either of them would appreciate. Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.

My Good Friend Murphy
***Disclaimer*** I wrote and am writing this purely for my own amusement. That means that this could have major revisions done to it sporadically, it has more grammar errors than even the most mentally stable grammar nazi could withstand, and will not update at all regularly. This is an ad-hoc fun experimental work with forced motives, plotholes, and static characters. Don't expect too much. That said, this mutated mistake of a short novella follows a ditzy MC who has been transported to a new world with the dubiously useful skills origin and enigma and the obnoxiously imbalanced skill, traveler. If you'd like more incentive to give it a shot, you will never get spoilers about the plot because there isn't one (Actual synopsis coming soon, relative to eternity)

Alistair’s Great and Powerful Startup Dungeon
The Great Golden Hero Thorian the Fair is dead! Ok, Great might have been a little much… and the only thing Golden about him was his armor. Fine! Thorian was an ego driven maniac that killed thousands of Adventurers in the pursuit of glory. Now that he has died the God of Rebirth is judging his soul and determined that the only creature Thorian can inhabit is a Dungeon Demon. Devoid of his divine luck and stripped of his power, the newly made Dungeon Demon Alistair must struggle Fang and Claw to build his new home. Sometimes cosmic justice exists and it’s a kick in the head.Author’s Note: Hey, if you like Town/Dungeon building please come in and read my story. My main focus will be writing a fun story about a struggling demon trying to gain power and a little bit of safety in his new life. Occasionally, a chapter will deal with the outside world and how Alistair’s home changes some people’s lives. Sadly, there will be errors in spelling and grammar, but I am being up front about it, please leave specific feedback and I will gladly correct it.
