《Grieyes Mages - Unknownly Superior Type Magician》Chapter 4: Present

She died, then stayed in a boundless nothingness. For so long, nothing came up, there was no light, it was completely dark. There was no time, as if the place is completely no existence. But until she encountered the first light, it bursts into her view and wrapped the entire void with pure white.
She woke up after that. And now here she is, she finally remember everything.
It has been 16 years since she was born, and she now remember the moment during reincarnation and her life before.
Her soul and the newborn baby has merged.
“What the hell?”
She uttered for no reason.
“Huh? Oh… yeah, so I have been reincarnated in this world, huh? And there’s magic.”
After realization, she is now muttering about her goal.
The goal of becoming the strongest mage in the world.
But another sudden realization… she has no magic.
“Ughhh!!!! I forgot, I don’t have magic, and I have shitty parents and siblings who hurt my feelings.” (see chapter 1).
--
I have been exiled, now what to do?
If I can’t be a strongest mage, then that doesn’t mean I can’t have another goal to fulfill.
With her sudden decision, she is already settled with another goal.
Ah! That’s right! I will become the strongest person the world. As a fighter, of course!
If I remember correctly the soldier gave me a sword, a necessary weapon for fighting wild creatures outside the country. Well I am here anyway.
She take out the sword from the magic bag. She pulled it, and dropped it to the ground.
Clang!!!
The sword is very heavy, she can’t lift it as a result.
Oh crap! I thought sword would be lightweight. Wait, wasn’t this sword is high-class?
There’s a gem attached to it.

The light reflects splendidly in the gem, it was a quite beautiful cerulean gem that shines even from afar, and it can be spotted easily. The blade are not just made out of ordinary metals, perhaps the blacksmith used some rare materials that can only be obtain through defeating earth monsters.
She wonders if this gem was so called Enchanted Gem. Most swordmen have this kind of sword with this gem attached to it. There are also variety of colors and shapes that reflects their personality or aptitude. This sword that is given to her is something she should not have. And because of this, she thought that perhaps this was given to her by mistake.
This could have been given to me by mistake, or possibly got switched by accident with the ordinary sword.
If that were true, the people inside the nation should have already found her by now. She is still located neary the boundary of the nation, so looking for her would be easy.
But if it was not, that perhaps, the governor wants me to train myself to get stronger. This is just nothing but a mere assumption. Why would a governor wants a frail looking girl to use a sword. The sword has enchanted gem, but only with those magic will be able to use them.
I am magicless, why would they give such high-class weapon?
If she had to learn how to use a sword by herself, it would not be that easy. Having mentor would be the best way, but there is no one can take her to be an apprentice, as for now at least.
Learning basic movements, through intermediate lessons, then advance techniques… It would probably take her about years to master it without proper training.
I definitely need a mentor to do this…

Divided in purpose and forsaken by prophesy, their fractured band splinters under the burdens of impending war. But looming beyond the eastern horizon, their enemies ready a ghastly armada. Without new portents to guide them, Kingard and his allies face a blind scramble to defend their imperiled empire. Praise for Broken: Exciting, suspenseful, and constantly left me wanting more. I felt a connection with every character that stretched over a very wide range of emotions. I eagerly wait for the next installment. - J.R. 8 161Lifestones of Lebreima
Lottica and Nick probably could have dealt with the sudden death of their parents. They probably really could have coped. IF. IF they hadn't had to deal with foreign grandparents who wanted to whisk them off to Lebreima, a small Old World country thousands of miles away from their friends and neighbors. IF they weren't being pursued by a sinister figure in a cape (a cape of all things!) who may have killed their parents. IF, in the ruins of their house, Lottica and Nick hadn't found what their dad had hidden there, along with secrets that were about to change the universe as they knew it. IF (and this deserves the all caps) THEIR DEAD PARENTS HAD JUST STAYED DEAD.
