Her name as of now is May. Not much of a difference but she decided to change it for a reason.
Her name “before” was May before she was born.
Why is that?
Let me tell you her story.
--
During her slumber under the tree, leaning on the trunk as she does, she had a dream. It was a bad dream, and felt as if it really happens.
Well, the truth is, it really did happened but not somewhere here. She was also talking as if she is narrating her life.
It goes like this…
The darkness of the sky, and the brightness of the metropolis clash together during night time. Clattering footsteps in a crowded place, echoing engine of a vehicle, and air polution everywhere. I can see the smoke soaring, I see a light spreads, I see a tall structure in my surrounding, I see a road established well, and many more.
This world, is boring.
Imagine if the electricity providers is experiencing problems, the entire city will experience blackout. Will I be able to see the beauty of the night sky?
Even with a glimpse of the Milky Way?
Well, who cares? It’s not like I wanted to.
This world is so boring, I wish I could escape in this boredom.
If only such things, like magic exists in this world, that way, it would fill my excitement.
My goal is always been turn my imagination into reality.
But, my goal is impossible. I could never accomplish such thing.
That is why, I became a game developer. That way, I can create my very own world.
A world that I made, a world that I design, a world where I can rule everything. But that never became reality, it’s only a game.
However, Full-Dive Virtual Reality does not exist yet, though they might be in some kind of development and confidentially being tested somewhere.

Even if it was developed, it wouldn’t achieve my goal, a game is a game created by a man, the ones inside the game were just programmed and designed. Nothing was made reality.
This actually made me realize as if I wanted to be a God.
But a human can never be a God.
Gods made everything and set rules, they are a supreme being that cannot be seen by a mere human.
And Human tends to break everything, even rules as well… It’s like this world has been distorted and has been abandoned.
Why am I thinking these things? I should stop it.
--
I remember that after thinking these things, by that time onwards… Something bad had happened.
Something a human is capable of doing such thing.
--
I checked the time, it was already 9:30 pm. Overworking myself is always has been my habit.
Here, the computer I am using is still on while lights inside the office are off. The radiation of the monitor in front of me hurts my eyes, I never wear glasses honestly. I decided to continue until I finish my task, I don’t wanna finish it tomorrow, I want this project be done before the deadline.
Ahh… So many errors, I’ve been encountering countless coercions and syntax errors, even wrong spelling. I’m going to slurp some coffee to remain active this night.
--
Two hours later…
“Ahhh… I am almost done.”
Checking the time, it was already 11:30 pm. I wonder if he is still here.

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01
