"Eh? Why?...."
Faced with the rejection of Martha to become an adventurer, Yamihr decided to tackle it by using his cute countenance. He stares at Martha with his round and bright eyes.
"Ghk!... Even if you look at me with those puppy eyes of yours… My decision is firm, your highness!"
Martha covers her nose as blood drops on it. It seems that looking at the prince and those puppy eyes made her more excited than she thought.
"Tch… No go, huh? … This tyranny, Martha! I want to become an adventurer!!!"
Clicking his tongue, Yamihr threw a tantrum. Flailing his arms as he rolls on the floor like a child.
Martha panicked as she hurriedly picked up Yamihr from the floor and laying him down on a sofa in the living room. Then she reprimanded him saying that the floor was dirty.
"Your highness, do you know that becoming an adventurer is dangerous? You have to fight a monster and risk your life to earn a living… Can you do that? You won't be living in luxury, no one to take care of you, the food you eat may not be delicious anymore… Are you prepared for that?"
Martha stares at Yamihr with a serious face trying to intimidate him by telling him the disadvantages of being an adventurer.
However, the Intimidation failed as Yamihr looked at Martha with a determined face.
"I know, Martha… I am prepared for that…"
Martha scrunched her eyebrows for a moment before relaxing and letting out a long and exhausted sigh.
"Still, my answer is the same, your highness… It's a 'No'..."
Looking at the despair that is written all over Yamihr's face, Martha cleared up the situation and explained.
"In the first place, you have to be 12 years old at the minimum to register as an adventurer… There are also rules in the Guild you know?"

Martha waves her finger while slowly shaking her head left and right. She is rather well informed, is what I thought.
"What do you think I am doing in these past 6 years?! I am one of the Guild's Receptionists!"
Yamihr left his mouth open, shocked by the revelation of Martha's occupation.
'I didn't hear anything about it!'
"I… see. That's unfortunate. I still need to wait for another 6 years to become an adventurer… that thing is…!"
When Yamihr heard about the rules of the Guild to become an adventurer, he despaired. Yamihr bit his lips while holding his tears from pouring down on his face.
Martha looked at Yamihr worriedly as she doesn't know what to do. After calming down for a while, Yamihr stared at Martha seriously and declares.
"Then! Let me work at the guild too!"
"Your highness?! That is…!"
"I want to help you as much as I can and experience how hard to work in this world. I… can't?"
Yamihr tilted his head acting cute all of a sudden. Martha's nose started to bleed again as she hurriedly wiped it off.
"But… Alright… however, It's rather hard to find a job for a child so don't expect anything, okay?..."
Looking at Yamihr who's filled with determination, Martha can only give in.
"I understand! I'm counting on you, Martha!"
Brimming with youthfulness as he smiled brightly at Martha. She felt that the prince is being unreasonable for the first time as she gave a resigned smile.
At this moment, the door opened and a young man in his teens entered the house. He is Melek, son of Martha now 14 years old.
"I'm home, mother!"
"Oh! Melek! You are back! That's great! You're hardly at home… Perfect timing! We're having lunch, sit now and eat!"

After putting off his light vest and hanging it in a wooden coat stand, Melek sat on the dining table while grumbling as to how hard becoming an adventurer is.
"Well, I can't help it… we are on a quest after all."
'Hm?! Adventurer's quest? I wonder what is it?!'
"Enough with the adventurer's talk and eat… Come on, Your highness! Slow down while you are eating! Look you have grease on your face! My, my."
As Martha wipes off the grease on Yamihr's face, Melek furrowed his brows in displeasure.
"Mother, you're still treating him as a royalty?!... He's already a fallen Noble who was abandoned by his parents!"
Martha's face became dark as the butt of a pot when she heard Melek insulting the prince. She's also angry about how Melek reminded the prince of his dark past.
"That's enough, Melek…"
Without minding his mother's dark face, Melek continued to barrage Yamihr of insults.
"He's just a freeloader thinking that he is still a prince and live in a lavish life!"
"I said… SHUT UP!"
Martha slammed the table and stood up as she glared menacingly at Melek, who was deterred by his mother's wrathful look.
"Gkh!... Hmph! I'm full… Thanks for the food!"
Martha sat down while breathing heavily in anger while Yamihr watches the drama unfolding whilst stuffing food on his mouth.

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?
