Arthur sneaked out of his father's estate. Then made a run towards east. In the east, there is place called rear beast mountain range.

It's a natural barrier that protects their city from any kind of invasion from there. But the main reason is there are vicious magical beasts in there. So it's really hard for anyone to attack from there. Only a madman or idiots will do that.

When Arthur reached the vicinity of the mountain range he saw there rows of trees. There's no people visiting this place because of its notorious reputation.

So I went In.but didn't go too deep because I knew that beasts in the deep are more dangerous and as I don't know the extent of my skill and I don't have much battle experience I decided to start from the bottom.

Today I have two goals to accomplish here. First,find out the extent of my skill. Second,gain some battle experience.

So I started experimenting with my skill. First,I decided to try the skill [SHADOW WALKER].

IN the dense treeline there is a lot of shadow. So I could move very fast.

In case there is no shadow I can only come out of it.

Constantly using this skill uses a lot of mana. I think I have to use this skill In a way where it's more effective but less consuming like surprise attack or deception. It's also a great skill to stalk... I mean follow someone.

Then I kept using this skill In various position and angles. Also with a sword in hand. I found another weakness in this skill that is I can't use this skill if the target shadow is in a different dimension than the current shadow where I am hiding.

Meaning if I am hiding in a shadow on floor I can only move in another shadow on the floor,I can't jump in a shadow in the ceiling.

This skill just turned out more tricky.

After experimenting with [SHADOW WALKER] ,he moved on to experiment on

[SIX WORLD DESTRUCTION SWORD ART ].

He only had two strike among the six.the first strike is a quick draw technique. He can do it as many times as he wants. So he first tried that out.

He had brought a long sword with him. He used it to perform the sword strike. He quickly drawed his sword and slashed it towards a tree in front of him. It created a yellow slash and cut the tree in half horizontally.

It was clean cut. No energy was wasted to cut the tree down.

That was really cool. I don't think there can be any quick draw that can be more perfect than this.

Arthur performed a few more quick draw and they were the same. Although it didn't tired him out,he felt little out of breath. so it can be said that he can't use this move for a long time straight.

Then Arthur wanted to perform the second strike but it was a technique to deflect opponents attack back at him. This is useful skill but in order to test this technique he had to find living target.

So he ventured deeper in the place. Soon, he discovered a cave in the mountain range. He saw paw marks in front of the cave. It was the print of bear paws. That means this is a bear cave.

He thought for a while whether he should poke in the bears ass. Bear type beasts are slow but powerful beasts and they are also clingy. Once you offend one they will not stop unless they end you.

But he still decided to try. Being afraid is not gonna help him anymore.

So he arrived in front of the cave and screamed as loud as he can to attract its attention. And it worked, as a few second later he heard a roar coming from the cave.

He was prepared. He had placed a hand on his sword and ready to perform the quick draw.

He felt the ground shaking due to the beasts approach. When he saw the bear coming towards him angrily,he performed the quick draw.

His target was the bears leg on the right side.so he leaned to the right before performing the quick draw. Then he hid in a nearby shadow of a tree.

The bear groaned in pain but still looked alive. It seemed the power behind my strike wasn't enough. He held back because first,he knew he could hide anytime he want and save himself.

So he wanted to see how much stronger he was than the beast.

That's why, when he attacked again he will use more strength. So he attacked again this time from behind. He shadow jumped behind the bear beast to attack. He stabbed and slashed quickly in the bears backsides.

And now it's officially enraged. It roared and attacked me swiftly. It's eyes turned blood red. It looked quite scary.

I didn't try to play around with it anymore. So I again shadow jumped and this time I attacked it from the front. But it dodged.

That surprised me. I knew that bear type beast are powerful but they aren't fast. But this bear suddenly got stronger and faster than before.

Even before it wasn't that fast so what changed. I looked at it in the eyes intently and thought about what I did before.

It seems like due to rage(because I poked it's ass), it's in some kind of berserk state. So it's speed and power increased.

That's the only explanation I can think of. But I ain't giving up. I have to think of a way to defeat it.

So I keep dodging its attack to tire it out. But that doesn't seem to work. So I decided to clash with it head on.

I was actually scared to fight it head on. Cause I didn't have any fighting experience before. It can go haywire anytime. And I don't want to die a second time. But I also don't want to be a coward this time.

So I braved up and took a deep breath in.the beast was charging at me ,ready to attack me with it's sharp long claws.

When it swung down it's claw I quickly stabbed it in the heart. It's skin was so thick that despite using every ounce of strength in my body I failed to stab it in the heart. But I definitely wounded it now.

After stabbing it I quickly hid myself in its shadow. It was bleeding from the stab wound. But still alive.

Now I was frustrated. After buying so many skill I still can't defeat this thing. I was cursing the system for being useless in my mind.

It dawned on him that there is such intricate relationship between system level and martial power.

Now there is even more need to increase his level. But currently he has to pass the obstacle in front of him. He got an idea that can help him.
