《A Fool's Wish》Chapter 6 Page 9 - Stranger

Adara had originally thought that she was being an idiot, a complete fool, leaving Akilah behind and following along with the words of a newspaper boy to enter a fight. How foolish could she be? What if it had been a trap from the newspaper boys end?
All of these thoughts had raced through Adara’s head. Even if there wasn't a trap, what was she supposed to gain from this fight? seeing Akilah’s body double or a lookalike? Which would have been impossible as Akilah had said that their disguises were not that of real people.
However it was neither a lookalike nor body double, it was Akilah, wearing the young boy disguise. She would not have believed it had it not been for them calling out her name. The young soldier Akilah, that they had called her. Adara could hardly believe her ears, it was Akilah.
While Adara was processing all of this someone else entered the room. Adara had not noticed yet
“And who might you be” The person behind her asked.
Adara swiftly turned around to face the person. It was a tall rugged looking young man with quite the build, he has long black hair that reached his shoulders and dark eyes that were currently gazing down at her. Adara thought that his appearance resembled that of a soldier pray captain, perhaps captain Navin. However she didn't want to assume and let him introduce himself first.
The man cleared his throat, as I to indicate that he is waiting for her answer. Adara had gotten lost and thought and that answered his question.
“Ah yes…Erm…I was let in here by a boy” She had evaded his question as she did not see it as a wise decision to answer it.
The man scoffed “A boy? A boy just let you in to my personal chambers”

“Ch-chambers I don’t, I mean didn’t” was all that Adara could stammer.
The man locked eyes with her “However that wasn’t what I asked, now was it?” he said and raised one eyebrow and stepping closer to her.
“Ah no I” Adara was annoyed at herself for getting flustered by this man. However she couldn’t help it, the combination of his charisma and appearance made her quivery.
With Adara failing to answer his question he took another step closer “Who are you and what are you doing here?!”
He crept closer and closer until Adara finally answered “My name’s Adara and I’m not a thief or anything I just came here because I wanted to see the fight and the newspaper boy said he could sneak me in”
Before he could answer a loud voice echoed to the area stating that the fight had started, and with that at Adara swiftly turned around and looked out the window staring at the Akilah fighting. The man walked up to Adara standing next to her
“So are you-”
“Shh” Adara interrupted him before he could ask his question “I’ll answer all your questions after the fight is over” she said and looked over at his, he had a puzzled look on his face but he nodded without saying anything.
Adara’s sights were then once again set on the fight and Akilah, and from what she could see Akilah was just playing defense, she was swiftly blocking all of his attacks without even breaking a sweat, to Adara it looked like she was playing with her opponents. But then something switched and Akilah came at her opponent with full force within seconds her opponent laid on the ground with Akilah’s sword raising his neck. Akilah was declared the winner, to everyone shock, Adara was likewise shocked but not because she had wanted to fight, but because oh brutal manner in which Akilah had overtaken her opponent. It was as if Adara no longer knew who Akilah was, from the lying to the fighting, it was as if she was a stranger to her.
