The expedition to Leer Graves, was as a Akilah found out a journey to no man's land. Leer Graves got its name from the fact that the entirety of the area is a mass grave where monsters and all types of vicious beings reside. The reason for the expedition was simple, the Kingdom needed to prove its strengths to the neighboring nations. The old king had been overthrown through coup d'état and a new king had emerged. Normally this would lead to a lot of uncertainty within the kingdom and it would be the perfect time for the neighboring nations to attack. Therefore the kingdom needed a symbolic sign of strength, the head of the basilisk in Leer Graves.
Akilah now knew why Sir Era had assigned her on this case, the expedition was practically a suicide mission. Seeing as Sir Era and captain Navin weren't on good terms, this was a way for Era to question the captain's abilities. If Akilah dies on this mission then Sir Era will be in the rightful position to call out captain Navin for nepotism and remove him from his position. Because as it turns out Sir Era wasn’t very fond of captain Navin, because he didn’t deem his lineage to be noble enough. Captain Navin was a barons son until he for the love and married his wife, that daughter of an Earl. Which subsequently made it possible for him to gain the captains position, which was something Sir Era didn't approve of as he saw captain Navin as a false noble that didn't deserve to hold such a high position.
Captain Navin had told her this backstory to warn Akilah of the journey ahead and to give her one last opportunity to run away before it was to late. However Akilah didn't care about the backstory she just knew that this would open up the perfect opportunity for her revenge. She could kill Era and make it look like an accident, make it look like it was one of the monsters or beasts in Leer Graves that had done it. This was a great opportunity and she was not about to let it go to waste. Therefore she stood her ground and convinced Captain Navin that she was ready to go on the expedition. Captain Navin, though worried, reluctantly agreed to it. Captain Navin explained that the expedition was set to leave in two days’ time, and that Akilah should go prepare and say goodbye to loved ones as this might be the last time Akilah sees them.

Akilah had planned on telling Adara about the expedition; however, she knew that if she told Adara the whole truth about Leer Graves, Adara would throw a fit and not be accept her going. Therefore, she decided not to tell the whole truth to her. When Akilah came home that day she told Adara what had happened but tweaked the story a bit. She said that Sir Era was very impressed by her abilities and that he had granted her the incredible opportunity of going on a expedition with them.
Adara was worried about this idea at first but after some convincing and sugar-coating from Akilah she finally agreed that it. Adara stated that it would actually be good for Akilah to get out into the real world and get her mind off of the events of the past. Akilah lied and said that she agrees with her sentiments, she said that it would be good for her to get some new experiences. Akilah felt bad about lying to Adara to her face but she simply had no plans of forgetting the past.
Whilst living with Adara these past few years Akilah had noticed something. She noticed that no matter how much of a peaceful life they lived, her anger and resentment towards the people in her past life still lingered on. It was eating at her bit by bit, every thought, every flashback, every memory of her past life crept up into her conscious at any moment of silence. She had realized that the life she had imagined for her and Adara could not come true until she dealt with the demons of her past. The plan now was set in motion and Akilah was determined to follow through with it. Akilah had made a list of the demons that needed to be dealt with, and first on her list was Sir Era. She was going to finish what she had started. She was going to follow through what you wanted to do in that cave all those years ago, kill every last one of those crazy bastards.

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)

Without hope of getting out, or making a new character, he ventures forwards through piles of trash- literally. Join our paste-eating main character, a snarky but helpful system, and more than two dimensional side characters, as they explore and deal with problems within the game. Spectacular magic? Over-sized breasts? “Onee-chan?” No, I’m sorry (Especially for the last bit). This is no drug fueled story about getting trapped in a video game with an evil AI or a cute bunny-girl harem isekai. Come and read what happens when a man from the modern world meets the medieval ages filled with beings he could only see before in his imaginations.----------------This is my first fiction that I wrote so I hope I am doing well. It starts slow as I need to explain about the world. It is flagged as many as I could as I have a lot of ideas that I could make this story go towards.
