“No, as a matter of fact try to avoid him at all costs. I don’t know how well your magic will work against him, since both of you use my powers, albeit to different degrees. Still your powers might not be very effective against him.”

“This…This feels like a loophole that I should have been informed about.” Akilah said

“Well you are being informed about it now” Ladybug said sounding completely satisfied with his witty response “Besides would you have done anything differently if you had known about this? Would you have canceled the deal?”

*Sigh* “You sure have an answer for everything don't you” Akilah replied annoyed.

“Yes, yes I do, I am after all, a powerful other worldly being. Of course, I-”

“Yeah yeah I got it. I don't need to listen to this spiel again. Bottom line is that I'll be fine as long as I don't fight him, right?”

“Rude of you to interrupt, but yes that is right”

“Okay then there's no need to worry about it.”

“Yes...No need”

Although Akilah found his reply a bit strange, she didn’t have time to ask him any further questions as she suddenly felt his presence become stranger.

“Now get ready Akilah Amory?”

“Is it time?” Akilah asked.

“Almost” Ladybug replied “But before that let me give you a parting gift”

“A gift?” Akilah asked, completely shocked that he had even prepared something like that.

“Yes a gift”

Akilah felt something touch her temple, a cold sensation rushed through her body, it felt like something entered her mind.

“What was that?” She asked.

“A mind grimoire” Ladybug answered, “It has all the spells you have learned so far and a few more that I added in. You are already strong enough, but knowing you, you will probably want more just in case”

“You know me so well” Akilah interjected.

“I have created a monster” He said laughed softly and continued “When it comes to attack and protection magic, the type that you wanted for your revenge; you have already reached the peak. But there are other areas that need some training. Which I assume you will be doing in those years you will spend with your friend, waiting for him to arrive.”

“Again you know me to well Ladybug”

“What can I say, I am a genius supernatural being, what did you expected!” He said with confidence.

Akilah laughed “Wow you really know how to ruin the mood, don't you. Just as I was about to give you a genuine compliment”

Ladybug chuckled “But in all seriousness. I gave you the mind grimoire, to relieve you of the fear of having your grimoire being detected.”

“I... I hadn't really considered that, thanks.”

“No need, just think of it as a parting gift from an employer to an employee for years of good work”

Akilah was about to give her thanks again but just then Ladybug spoke up.

“It's time" Ladybug said with a stern voice “Akilah Amory. You are hereby freed from your position as my henchman. You completed your part fully, and you are now granted your wish for powerful magical abilities. You will thus as agreed be sent back six years before we met.”

A thick fog quickly surrounded Akilah, she felt nostalgic, this was just like when she first had summoned him.

“Close your eyes Akilah” Ladybug said softly.

Akilah closed her eyes and felt a gust of wind hit her. All of a sudden, she heard someone far away call her name, the voice came closer and closer. She opened her eyes and looked around, she was back at her old home, and that voice calling her name was Adara’s voice.
