Akilah took a deep breath and got up from her sitting position 'Damn it Akilah, what have you gotten yourself into!?!' she thought.
However she stopped herself from spiraling down, she clenched her fists and took a deep breath 'It's okay, it's okay. It is going to be okay. I just need to figure this out'. She stood up straight, arched her back to give off the image that she was confident in her actions; when in reality she had no idea what she was doing.
“Fun part? What do you mean?” she asked.
“Yes the trial phase is over, you passed, now for the negotiation part of our deal” X answered smugly “We are going to be writing your lifelong contract regarding your position as my henchman, and your reward.”
“Okay...So where do we start with the henchman thingy that you've been talking so eagerly about?”
“Well basically you will be working for me and taking care of 'things' for me.”
Akilah knew something was off. X was being way too vague about the work description. She needed to know more.
“What sort of ‘things’?”
“Oh all sorts of things, running errands, handling issues that occur, defending me against people that tarnish my good name.”
“I don't even know your name, how am I supposed to defend it..?”
A little chuckle could be heard from him which made Akilah feel embarrassed about her question 'Did I say something dumb?'.
“That is not what that meant, and besides it's not important, you do not need to know my na-“
“I think that it is, you want me to help you out and work for you without me even knowing your name. I mean-”
“What did we say about interrupting me while I'm talking Akilah.”

His words were harsh but he did not sound angry when he said them, not like last time.
“But you're not even explaining things properly” Akilah knew that it was a risky thing to say but she had decided to say it anyways 'What do I have to lose, anyways'.
“It seems you have forgotten about our little chat earlier; shall I remind you?”
Akilah could feel the ground beneath her shaking again 'Oh no I'm so stupid!'. Akilah had to act fast before history repeated itself. She could feel debris falling on her. Akilah covered her head with her hands, closed her eyes hoped for the best, and shouted.
“Okay, okay I get it! I’m sorry!” Then the shaking stopped 'Wait did that work?' Akilah thought.
“Fine, then let us go back to the contract.”
'THAT'S ALL IT TOOK!?!' Akilah thought 'He is as emotionally unsuitable as a pregnant lady'.
“But before that what should I call you by, believe it or not knowing your name would make things easier.”
“Are you still on that? It really doesn’t matter, you can call me whatever you want.”
'Doesn't matter huh, okay then' she thought and with a smirk she replied, “Okay but you can't get mad about it or want me to change it.”
“I won’t lose my temper over such insignificant things” X said and huffed.
'D-Did he forget what just happened??' Akilah thought.
“Now shall we continue?”
“Okay then Ladybug let us continue with our talk”
“What?”
“What, Ladybug?” Akilah said amusingly “You said that I could choose anything and that you wouldn't be mad or ask me to change it. You’ll stick by your word, right?”
“Eh...” X took a long pause “Fine. But just for that I am adding another year to your henchman work”
“Another year??” Akilah asked confused “What...How many years do I have now”
“Six years” X replied.

Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons: Year One
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals. Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him. In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement. Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability. And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…
