When everyone tries their best to calm Sierra down, her body glows green and brighter every second as the ground trembles like an earthquake; something massive is about to surface. Everyone quickly dashes towards Sierra, but thick and hardened roots take her away, moving towards the forest's western border. Everyone quickly follows her, ensuring her safety; since she subconsciously ignores their call, and even Alexander's voice can't calm her down at the moment.

The Ancient prepared Sierra for anything but not his death.

Before the meteor is cast, the Monkey Paws Sect commands the smaller Sects and families to start a forest fire by the border to get the Sera Madre's guardians in one place and wipe them out with one high-level spell. The leader of the Monkey Paws Sect promised vengeance and rewards if they followed the Sect's tactics.

He said an easy victory awaits those who rally with the Monkey Paws Sect.

They expected an inferno, a land covered with fire destroyed by heaven's wrath. They did not anticipate meteor fragments to get shattered around the forest, which obliterated a good chunk of the land but not as initially planned.

"Impossible! Someone might have stopped the meteor!" The sect's leader let out without thinking.

Everyone invading the forest can not believe that someone powerful enough destroyed the meteor that should have laid waste on the land.

"So the 'Big Fish' finally showed their face!" Jio shouts as soon as he sees the Sect's leader's grinning face and his group.

Everyone sees a masked man wearing jet black armor and wings that make a metal scraping sound like a hundred swords rubbing into each other every time the wings move.

"..." Bm didn't say any words, but her facial expression was enough to say that they messed with the wrong person.

*A Goddess!* Everyone thought after they noticed Bm flying with the masked man, Jio.

"I suggest everyone bow their head, kiss the dirt, and surrender!" Jio announces and continues, "Death awaits to those who didn't comply!"

"Arrogant Fool! Your courting Death!" One elder angrily expresses while giving orders to magicians near him to cast their magic to shut Jio up.

Multiple magical spells shoot straight towards the two, and Jio immediately grabs Bm's waist while Jon morphs into a shield, directly taking all the magical assault. As soon as the smoke cleared, everyone saw the masked man's back shining and felt the power it held like a God looking down on its creation.

Everyone who witnesses Jio's action today would instantly fear him, while the few still try to process how the two survived multiple bombardments of destructive magic.

"Don't tell me; I didn't warn everybody!" Jio announces and casts everything back to the enemies as he fully opens his wings to release his might.

Lightning, fireballs, ice shards, and tornado cluster comes out of Jio's wings and severely hurt the enemies' formation and morale at the same time, giving Jio's side a great advantage. Jio's magic control is God-like and powerful, thanks to Mr. De Vil's teaching.

"Hey..." Bm whispers, blushing as she looks away, looking at the enemies, and continues, "You know I can survive that attack, right Jio?"

Jio smiles and replies, "But I did look badass, tho!"

Just as planned, the monsters that hide in the clouds and the one who hides underground await the signal; the enemies will not see it coming.

"Attack!" Jio shouts, and the monster kind underground pulls people below as the enemies die in the process.

Anyone who avoided getting buried alive underground is the people with worse luck and will die painfully bleeding out since the monsters kind in the sky shoots razor-sharp projectiles. Every monster in the forest enjoys the "Death's Mark's" temporary power it provides.

As soon as Sierra reaches the border, she witnesses the scene she envisions from the Ancient warning and teaching about war; not anger nor frustration build up in her heart, but only grief and sadness. She releases her power like dust to the air moving towards the wounded and heals them instantly on the spot.

Bm saw Sierra and wanted to protect her innocence, but her power will significantly help everyone, and she can't keep her best friend from the world. She wants to stay closer to Sierre for her safety, but the enemy magicians would create problems and casualties that she can prevent.

The Monkey Paws Sect's leader sends all the elders to fight Jio and gets frustrated after seeing Sierra healing the monster kind. This invasion cost the sect a fortune, and he doesn't want to go back empty-handed as he summons earth golems and commands five high-ranking Warriors to follow him.

Alexander with Twelve Elite blocks the Sect Leader and his group and immediately breaks into a full-scale brawl of the fittest. The Sect Leader doesn't want Sierra alive since her existence puts them at a disadvantage over time; without her, they will outnumber the forest folks and take over the land.

"Alexander! After you killed your friends and step-father, you now cooperating with the Monster Race? I thought you're better than this..." The Sect Leader lets out as soon as he sees Alexander and continues, "Did they give you the power in your wildest dreams and turn back your back to your kind? Is this the reason you're stronger now?"

Alexander didn't answer his question and quickly destroyed the golems charging toward him with his greatsword.

"So the reports are true! 'Weakest Anong Trash' no more?'" The Sect Leader let out in surprise.

While Alexander fights with the Sect Leader, Jio assesses the battlefield and thinks the humans have the better number, which would be a problem when they get back to their battle formation, even with Sierra's help. He wants to help Bm and Alexander, but the Sect's Elders are powerful with battle experience, making it harder for him to take them out.

Deep inside Jio's consciousness, a feeling starts to grow inside that wants to get out, and a voice starts talking to him to desire power as he senses the Dark Magic inside him surging.

*Ahhh, yes. Let it out, LET THE POWER OUT!* The voice in Jio's head demands, and he wants it to stop, but he doesn't know a single way to do so.

Jio looks around to check if someone is making the sound or the enemies are doing it to him but cannot confirm his theory and realizes it's all on him after the Dark Magic starts leaking around his body. Everyone stops what they are doing for a beat after they sense the Dark Magic around Jio's body as they watch him in horror.

Long ago in the continent, half of the population perished from the mad Dark Magus, who lost control of his magic and sanity. Bm immediately looked in Jio's direction, hoping the Dark One didn't take Jio's body and was forever destroyed.

Jio's eyes turn completely black like the abyss, and his body produces black smoke like it absorbs the light around him.

The pinnacle of Dark Magic.

"Soul-Spirit, Dark Transformation!" Jio let out, thinking out loud.
