《Another world? Some weird magic? Sure.》3rd Day: Innkeeper
Advertisement
Today, I saw a man in weird clothes. I had never seen something like that before, ever. He came in my inn to eat.
Oh, by the way, I'm called Vestropecutica. People close to me call me Vestro. I run the biggest inn of this city: Suptraneculovis. My inn may not be the richest or the most glamorous, but it IS the most popular and houses the majority of the travelers that decide to visit our city.
Thus, it should be perfectly obvious that I have had dealings with people from a variety of cultures but upon some strange circumstance, it was a strange meeting for me with that man.
It wasn't love at first sight or anything but he did catch my eye. First his clothes. He wore under the torso a wear that had two long sleeves and covered the entirely of his legs. On a closer look, there were tiny rabbit faces on the cloth. I have never seen anything like it, even on the nobles or the royalty. On the top of the unusual clothing was a knot of a thick thread possibly, I suppose, to hold the thing in place.
On his upper body, he had a plane white cloth that was tucked in the unusual wear on his lower half. The cloth was cut at the upper sides with two thin straps going over his collarbone leaving his shoulders bare. The clothing itself was tight, almost clinging on his body, giving explicit details of his body line. Though I wouldn't call him buff or well build but it would be wrong to call him skinny either. So to say, he was just.... healthy.
Author's Note: Kind of like this.
Now lastly, he had on wooden slippers which most of us commoners wear on a regular basis. You can buy it anywhere around here.

Due to the last bit, I was inclined to think of him as another commoner but that became doubtful when he approached me to ask for a serving of food.
You see, commoners are not polite. We are never taught to, probably why we remain to be called as such. Nobility, on the other hand, who receive individual teachings since birth, are in fact worse off, unless they're dealing with another noble obviously.
But HE, he was polite, unnaturally so. Maybe I just feel that because I'm used to the blunt and uncaring attitudes. Naturally, as one would meet an unusual person and have a craving to indulge in some conversation, I was no different. Mind you, it was nothing romantic. Just some... curiosity, so to say.
I handed over the counter to an employee Lindsi, short for Lindsivalna and personally went to kitchen to prepare his part of the demand. 5 minutes later, I was carrying his serving in one of our finer cutleries.
With the time of the day, it was natural to have a lesser number of customers but he had taken a seat in a fairly secluded part of the dine. As I got closer, I noticed that he hadn't realised my approach and was focusing on something, listening from the looks of it but to what I couldn't imagine. I mean, he was sitting the farthest from any people to listen in but here was just......
As I put down the bowl of soup in front of him, he seemed to startle and then let out a groan, holding his ear.
"Blood..."
I noticed the red liquid running down the hand he was holding his ear with.
"I'll quickly bring something for it!"
I told him to wait while I brought something to apply on the wound without even thinking about how he got the wound in the first place out of nowhere.

"I got careless....."
I heard a low voice behind me but I didn't turn to inspect as I assumed there would be plenty of time later. Only, there wouldn't be.
By the time I returned, he was gone and so was the food I placed in front of him along with the bowl. I enquired Lindsi about it immediately, but she claimed to have seen no-one like that go out the inn. It was hard to believe she simply missed him when he should have been carrying a bowl of soup in his hands out the inn.
It was the opening of the shop the next day that I found the bowl there on the exact same table HE had been sitting on along with 3 copper coins.

Dungeon Instinct
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. An aspect of corruption born naturally of a mortal and a divine, a Void that is a singularity instead of a duality, a being that came to be before existence ever was, a forgotten that is not damned, the possibilities are infinite and limitless, and thus so are the possible mistakes in this grand multiverse. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? For Kelic the Blightborn, life was suffering. Born of a holy Templar dedicated to serving the Forgotten Guardian and a powerful abyssal demon queen that raped said Templar, Kelic’s first sight and sensation in Quellios and its realms was being baptized in the life-blood of his dying father. Tortured in the 1425th level of the abyss for ten years, Kelic was only set free of this constant nightmare of an existence by the unintended results of the Ascendant Angel’s rise to true divinity. His freedom from the abyss was not the paradise that the young Kelic thought however, as he was branded a BlightBorn, or a child of tragedy that brings only misfortune, by the people of Quellios. Abused by all he ever knew or met the boy found solace in only in the things of beauty and the act of reading, a skill he taught himself. His latent ability to comprehend and remember all of what he read and the sheer speed of his reading gained the attention of a prominent figure of Evrette Academy Island. Taken in by the famous mage Fredrick Dunhousen, Kelic lived in peace for the first time in his young life… that is until he was killed. Follow the tale of a newly born dungeon core in the world of Eserthet, that has only one single purpose. One single purpose it decided for itself... Author: Rubbish and short synopsis I know. New one appreciated if someone wants to. Second attempt at writing after pausing the first work at a writer's block. Feedback highly welcome. Second attempt at a synposis. Somehow I can't seem to make it work. Removed Traumatising Content tag. This is mainly a slice-of-life with romance and hints of comedy since I can't make a joke lols. It will be relatively short since I'm just wanting to see if I can follow through to complete a story as I envision it. Cover from google images. I do not own this art.

Distant Leaps to Circinus
A dark fantasy story that takes place on a reborn Earth. "With all the planets in the universe, it just had to be this one." Not many thoughts came to mind when scientists said they could provide the Earth with nearly infinite power. Humans could only think about the future, after all: they could travel to the farthest reaches of space, never worry about their electric bills again, and give rise to new and innovative technologies. With such good outcomes on the horizon, there was no way humanity would sit idle; instead, they studied perhaps the most powerful entity in the entire Milky Way. It seemed that, after its appearance decades ago, the strange and unmoving black sphere was something of a godsend. There will always be a reason for these things. With one touch, our very reality was but a grain of sand in an hourglass. In an instant, the Earth was gone - replaced by something… different. More than a century later, Earth’s remains have reformed into a completely different beast - a planet both alive and dead at the same time. Physics that were once understood no longer made sense, giant land masses floated in the sky, and billions of people fought for their very survival. Work, sleep, and play were no more; it was time for the world, Circinus, to reign. The birth of Circinus could only be the beginning. The powerful yet ever-elusive black sphere seemed to watch the world from afar - casting light for those below, but never truly emitting light from itself. What does it all mean for the children of Circinus - children born with eyes that seemed to stare into God’s heart?
