Boone had been putting posters of his son, whom he presumed was missing, for some days. He believed his son- Ian, was dead till the day he dug the grave of his son.
There he could only see an empty coffin.
The reason alone was enough to keep on printing the posters. He had printed slabs of posters from a local publication named PaperWork Publications. Even though he knew his wife was well aware of this and didn’t support it at all, he wasn’t finished printing more copies.
Despite of all his efforts, there was no progress. He had hung posters everywhere just to realize they were gone next day.
When the same thing happened three times in a row, then he believed he had had enough. Whether a street cleaner was doing it or it was a random stranger, he was going to have a go at him. Boone had enough strength to do so.
In the dawn, he set off to find the person who had an obsession with posters. To his surprise, he found a thin woman in blue robe gathering those posters. She was wearing a classical mask which made her look like something straight out from medieval age party.
"Hey!" Boone yelled at her, " What's the point in doing all this?"
"You are making people panic, Boone." She said.
"How would this poster panic? Missing child is not something to panic about."
"I hear your son died."
"Who has been filling your ears with lies, lady?"
"Didn’t people here attend his funeral?"
"They didn’t attend what happened afterwards."
"Boone, it is not why they are getting scared. Watch this." Woman showed him the poster.
The poster now had a face of someone wearing plague doctor mask. Boone could not tell if it was an actual face or a mask.

"What is this?" Boone was shaken.
"Someone called Crowman. And do you want to know who took off the posters you had put and replaced with these?"
"Who?"
"Your wife." Woman smirked.
"Listen to me, you stupid woman, don’t fuck around with me."
"I am here to make things easier for you."
"How?" Boone walked closer to her to intimidate.
"Your son is dead. Get over it. A Satan named Grief killed him. And the same Grief will kill your wife."
"I should have noticed you are a crazy woman just by looking at your clothes." Boone grinded his teeth.
"Your wife is crazy that she made her association with Crowman a public thing. Don’t you know devils and Satans walk from this street every night?"
But Boone had already had began to walk away.
"Don’t believe me? Fine." Woman yelled, "But don’t leave your house this evening no matter what. If you leave, she will die."
"Piss off, woman."
She will die tonight, even if you don’t leave your house this evening. Woman talked to herself and moved towards more posters.
One by one, she tore off Crowman's pictures.

Puppet Lord
In the year 2142, humanity’s technology has developed to the point of cybernetic and neural implants. People all have neural receptors attached to the brains, allowing for unfettered, 24 hour a day, global access to the neural net. A string of attempted break ins to a secure facility has authorities scratching their heads. Every few days, a new person is caught trying to force their way through checkpoints, reinforced doors, and cyber security. None of the perpetrators have any criminal history, and all are seemingly unconnected. Advent of the Mindfire Mage: A Challenger's Return Story
Updates MWF, 6PM EST! Not so long ago, a story was posted on Webnovel, one that fired my imagination unlike almost anything before or since. It was known as The Challenger's Return: Rebirth of the Rainbow Mage. However, 150 chapters in, the author NightWind, who I'd personally interacted with and begun to consider a true friend, vanished from the internet without a trace. And so, I have acted upon my fervent desire to pick up his torch, to refuse to let his world that stirred such passion in me die. Read below about my own take on The Challenger's Return. Was Lheticus summoned to the Tower by chance, or by choice? Either way, with the new power he wins, he won't hesitate to burn anyone who seeks to keep him from his true love to cinders, and with a unique ability of the highest potential, he may just succeed, but he's just as likely to burn himself down. And as it turns out, the latter case may be woven into his very destiny...can that destiny be changed? And if it is, what will be the repercussions for the Tower? (You may want to read a fair amount of the original Challenger's Return before starting this, as, particularly in the early chapters, many things that are laid out in it are glossed over in this story.)
