Few months have passed, and I can now speak and read properly. It took me through difficult situation and events to learn, though now hoping to learn magic soon.

Finally, day has come.

Last year it started from me speaking in front of everybody, and ended up with me going to gain my status, though for security reasons it was decided to acquire status as normal after my age is 2 years.

I thought a lot about what I should do to conceal my status, because I can’t think of anything. I gave up.

The tension of my mother, Olivia, and father, Sieg, has been high since the morning. Mia looks the same as usual on the surface, but her tails are swinging widely so, she probably feels the same as my parents.

For the time being, I’ve asked Mia about various things about the status this past week. Mia thoroughly taught me everything, even details that would make one doubt whether a baby could understand it.

According to what Mia told me, status endowment, as name suggests, is a ceremony where a child is granted status by the temple around age of 2.

Though according to Mia there was a high-ranking noble in some distant country who had his newborn son underwent the ceremony to train early, he died because of magic depletion……..Scary..........

Thus, after the incident, it became a rule that the children of above 2 years can undergo the endowment ceremony so as not to repeat the same incident in the future.

“young prince, it’s time to get you change, today is the ceremony day” is what Mia said while entering the room is what I would like to say but as soon as she tried to enter the room she amazingly tripped down on the floor with face first.

“l-lets get you changed, young prince,” Mia said while getting up like a zombie with a nosebleed. First, wipe that NOSEBLEED!!!..........

“I’m sorry it’s just that I’m nervous about the ceremony, about what skill will you receive, what status will you get, it will remain as your base for future activities? I have been dazed at the work and made many mistakes and I couldn’t even sleep at night.” Said Mia with her head hanging down in shame and voice diminishing at the end.

Oye, Oye I mean, were you not able to sleep last night! Are you an elementary student not able to sleep before the excursion!? Haaa....... This girl....... just as much does she care about me? She is more nervous than I’m! Though the reason being me knowing my status but let’s leave it aside.

“Yes. I am looking forward to it today! Mia!” I said with a bit of extra energy, with a wish that it would radiate to Mia to cheer her up.

“Yes,” Mia responded with a fresh smile. It seems I managed to elevate her nervousness even if little. Yeah! I know I have a cute smile, right? Right!? RIGHT!!!?

“ohh! Lex looks cute today as well,” sieg exclaimed

I sometimes think that my father has that like ‘I will not let anyone marry my daughter’ idiot father moments. It’s not like I don’t like it, but sometimes somehow it feels creepy.

“So, where are we going?”

“yeah, we are going to the capital temple in the capital city to get your status” damn Yeah!..... It’s my first outing in the fantasy world!! Though it will not be that long, nevertheless I will be able to see the capital city lunaris.

I wonder what is the level of civilization of this world; I know it is in the medieval world compared to my previous world, but I want see the disparity between the royal and the commoner or your day-to-day equipment level of technology.

The castle has the magic lamp, magic water heater Ah! There is a device like an air blower and a good deal of other equipment but there is one problem which I noticed is that it can’t be regulated, the output can’t be regulated.

So when the water heater is used, the temperature of the water can’t be regulated, the temperature remains constant, cold water is added to obtain desired temperature.

“Baby, let’s go. Our carriage is here” mother lifted me in her arms going towards the castle ground where the carriage is waiting.

After passing through the garden planted with many pretty and colourful flowers, we made it to the castle grounds. The carriage in itself is a masterpiece with many minute carvings done on it, with the royal family’s insignia drawn on either side of the body.

The decorations doesn’t seem excessive to make it look gaudy but look perfect and right amount of decorations to represent royal family.

The carriage is far more spacious than it appears; it seems some space-time magic is used to increase the area.

“Oh! It is larger than it looks,” I exclaimed childishly

“Yeah, the carriage itself is enchanted with space-time magic to increase the dimensions, though it appears normal from outside. It’s one of the pride of the royal family, it’s an artifact from ancient civilization excavated ancient ruins.”

Father exclaimed it to me while we make our way out of the castle gate.

Out of the castle gate lays down the capital city, it is formed of two parts: the aristocrat residency and the city. Outside the castle gate lays the aristocrat residency where large mansions of different nobles are situated. Inside the area, hierarchy from duke to baronet is maintained.

With the duke’s mansion near the palace while the baronet residency is on periphery of the area, though the size of mansion differs according to the rank in hierarchy but anyway........

The street in the noble area is wide enough for 4 carriages to pass easily and seems to be well planned, with the road dividing into several branches. Shops on either side looks luxurious and expensive. People walking on the street are scarce.

The street of the noble area isn’t that lively what I expected. The guards on the periphery quickly cleared the way when they saw royal family insignia.

After passing the checkpoint the liveliness on the street became prominent, the street bustling with different kinds of people gave different vibe in the air, people of different race can be found here and there.

Oh!! That’s an elf, right!? Just like my previous world, they are slim build with long legs which increases agility. They have long horizontal ears, their most distinguished feature.

Mother also has long ears but shorter than elf. I think that’s because of her being a half elf or should I say dhampir with elven blood. I don’t have long ears like elves or like a mother, my ears are pointed like vampire seems like I inherited it from the maternal side.

Oh!! Is that a mage!? A man with fantasy wizard like hat on his head, wearing a matching robe with a wand in his hand, entering what seems like a bar with the sign board showing two large mugs on the cross.

“It’s a beautiful scene, right?” father asked while looking outside the window of the carriage with a sense of pride and joy prominent in his eyes, with a small smile filled with love and warmth, as if looking at his own family

Ah!! I wonder how hard had he have to work to get that prideful look. I wonder if I can achieve that same look. In the first place, I don’t have a goal after reincarnating……….. I am just wasting my time idling here and there, though hardly anything can be done with this newborn body, but still……….
