With Astra's help, the five were able to finish the setup in time for the zombie event. Sam and the great settled at the top floor waiting for the event to start. After a few minutes of eager waiting, the time was finally at hand.
The event, Zombie Raid Night has begun. We wish you all the best
-system
A loud siren went off in the distance letting everyone know the start of the event. Sitting on the top floor, the party could see zombie groups spawning in the distance. It seemed like they were approaching in their general direction.
The hard part when dealing with zombie hordes is their hive brain ability. To participate in the event, they will have to attack at least one of the zombies and that action would alert all those other zombies in their direction. To fight a head-on battle against a horde of zombies was suicidal.
The Party Gods of New Era, have slain a mini horde. The party received 400 points.
"What party? Aren't they from the New Era guild? I bet you they used their guild members to tank the brunt of the attack." Dona said displeased. "It's not illegal. We should just try and I'll wait it out to the end. Then we can kill a few zombies towards the end and enter the listing. Don't worry too much. Overreacting will just get us killed." Sam said, assessing the situation.
The event should last at least thirty minutes unless some party was strong enough to proactively kill all the mini hordes. Waiting it out till the last few minutes was the best course of action.
The party, Legends of Today killed a zombie mastermind. The party received 1000 points.
Ten minutes past the start of the event, the notification kept coming letting them know of the events progress.

"Should we start luring a few in?" Dona asked, preparing for the attack. Justin grabbed her sword waiting for an order from Sam. "Sure, let's start as well. Try and find the drifters. Jim, have you found one yet?" Sam asked Jim.
"There are none in the area, but a squad of zombie henchmen are approaching us from the west." Replied Jim after using eagle vision to spy on the surrounding. "Should I provoke them?" "Sent them through the grinder. Astra, get ready to switch the blade's in." "Aye, aye." Astra did a salute and rushed towards the first floor to switch the grinder blades on.
"Jim, shoot an arrow at the henchmen. They should approach us through the grinder. Justin, Dona, watch for any strays." Sam commanded the rest to be on guard while Jim shot an arrow towards the west provoking the zombie squad.
Your party provoked a zombie minor squad. The zombies have recognised the prey. Prepare for battle.
"Here it is. Guys get ready."
The zombie henchmen were strong opponents to any tier 1 party, let alone a party of level 3's. The henchmen rushed in towards the high school building and sam also noticed a bunch of stronger zombies approaching the high school from the east. 'Looks like we became a higher priority.'
Astra stood at the stairs purposely to make the zombies approach her through the path filled with rotating blades. These contraptions were made after a full day of hard work on her part with the two tanky girls helping. Her smile was genuine as she saw the ten-man zombie henchmen became mincemeat under her grinders.

The party, Little Blue Hills, killed a zombie henchmen squad. The party received 200 points.
"Astra, check out the grinders fast. There are more approaching us from the east." Sam's voice came from the communicator she created especially for the event. "On it."
The place was littered with zombie meat pieces sprayed around the place. A few blades were slightly chipped. She had a few extras in her bag to replace them. She quickly got to work, replaced the blades and rushed back towards the stairs. Dona and Justin were by the stairs waiting for their artificer. "That bad?" "This horde has a few powerful ones in the midst," Dona said her sword stretched ready to use in her hand.
Your party provoked a zombie kill squad. Prepare for battle.
"Fuck, I hope the blades dont five in," Astra whispered with soft breaths. "Don't worry, Sam prepared a special something just in case." Dona smiled looking at their worried friend.
The zombies followed the same pattern as the previous squad, but this time the last few were able to get past the blades thanks to their friends' sacrifice chipping the blades making them dull. "They are getting through," Astra screamed, turning around only to see a smiling Sam walking down the stairs towards them.
There were still at least six zombies in the group as they walked towards Astra in a file. "Stand Back." Sam pushed the two tanks apart and stood in the vanguard. A fiery red magic circle formed in front of him as he cast his new crowd control spell, 'Heat Prison."
The ground became scorching hot and the concrete started melting under the zombies' feet. The heat was too much for the zombies to bear as they too started melting, falling over as a blob of decayed meat. The smell of scorched meat was strong in the hall.
The party, Little Blue Hills, destroyed a zombie kill squad. The party received 2000 points.
The Little Blue Hills suddenly reached first place beating the previous number one by a large margin. But their cheers of victory was cut short seeing the next notification they received.
Congratulations on reaching first place in the event. You have triggered the first place additional event, Zombie Overlord. Please kill the overlord to win the reward.
The party watched in horror seeing the zombie overlord spawn right next to their high school. Unlike the rest, it waited for them to approach them looking up at their leader, Sam, who was watching it from the balcony. 'This is trouble.' Without an identify, it was hard for them to tell how strong their opponent was.

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job.
