The legendary Lady Serina…

"Welcome to Qwakamolly. Just like Lord Qwaka said, make sure to use these years and train hard. Our world's future and stability will be on your shoulders one day." Lady Serina cupped her hands and smiled as a true elf would. A few boys suddenly had an uncomfortable feeling near their gut, slightly lower…

'What will be my fate?' Sam thought to himself taking in the breathtaking view in front of his eyes.

"Sorry, I won't be able to join your training this year. We will work together once you reach class 12. So get stronger and join me fast alright." The sudden words that left Lady Serina left the class' mood down.

Upper Senior Class 12. Those eligible were all at least tier 5. The gap was just too big. The class tried to cherish what little grace that they received.

Tier 5 gamers were rare. It is well known that even in Qwakamolly Academy there were only fourteen students. The rarest of the rare. It's said that most of them had already left the shackles of human skin. Looking at the tier 8 angel standing before them, they could only gasp in awe.

"It looks like the testing ground is ready. If you would please, we should move now." With a hand gesture from Lady Serina, the whole party was teleported to a gladiator arena. Countless people stared at the new arrivals from behind the visitor's venue.

'Sponsors.' Sam looked around.

"Picked a job yet?" Asked Jim walking towards him.

"Pick? I don't even know what my aptitude is for. How am I supposed to pick?" Sam stared at Jim.

"Well, mom said if you really wished for a job to the oracle it will grant that to you. I really hope I can become a Warrior."

"You that much into pain?" Dona squeezed herself in tagging Maya along.

Jim glared at her wishing to beat her up. Sadly Dona was too strong and his wish had yet to come true. "Stop teasing him. The trainers have all gathered."

"If it was me, I would wish for a healer. Then I would at least be able to heal myself when I screw up." Maya butted in only to get retorted by Jim. "With how lazy you are, I bet you would just let the cut bleed you to death."

The trainers all stood in front of an orb raised on a podium. Suddenly, the orb emitted a glow and a semi-transparent spere stretched out of it. The little screen placed next to the podium, emitted a dim glow.

'Looks like it's ready.' Sam said to himself.

One of the trainers who looked to be in his mid-seventies walked in front of the spere and said augmenting his voice, "The sorting ceremony has started. There are five tiers that everyone will belong to. We need the juniors to step out and stand in the light, please. One by one."

Under the light, everyone soon received their jobs. Unlike what Jim wanted he was given a damage dealer job, archer at that. The three could feel waves of disappointment coming off of him. After all, Jim was the self-claimed number one fan of World Hero Beserking, said to be the most powerful tier 10 warrior.

Dona smirked at Jim showing him her changed ID. Warrior. Jim wanted to go kill himself. 'Why her?' He thought. But thinking carefully it made perfect sense.

Dona was a monster when it came to her peers. She had the most strength of all those in their middle school class. 'It must be the genes.' Thought Sam, thinking of her parents, both tier 6 warriors.

Sam's ID showed his status as a mage. This was to be expected His parents too were mages. Maya received the most surprise amongst them all. A healer. That too a passive healer. Although her character was lazy and less energetic, she was still the daughter of a mage and a warrior. Seeing Maya's job Jim started laughing. 'It's perfect. Now you can just sit there lazily. Mom was right. Haha." "Shut it. Trashy archer." One scolding from Dona and Jim immediately enter despair mode.

It was true. Archers were the trashiest job one could get. The job did little to no damage and the insane cost of refilling arrows usually broke any gamers. There were perks too. Archers had a critical hit buff and a huge arsenal of conditional damage shots. But it was still hard to hit an enemy with a bow.

"Now that everyone knows their jobs please register at one of the four stands here. Those who have a party may register as one. If you are alone go ahead and register alone. We will place you all into parties of five." The trainer said causing the kids to start pushing towards the four stands.

"We only have four. Looks like we might get someone new to join the gang." Dona said smiling as the party moved towards the last stand.

"I hope it's not another archer," Maya said poking into Jim's wounded soul.

"No, I don't think they would do that. We still need someone to do real damage." Dona said which caused Jim and Sam to flinch.

"Im still here you know," Sam said looking at the girls.

"Oh yeah. Looks like we will be fine then."

'I'm gonna kill you all. Just you wait.' Jim must have shouted in his mind.

The registration was over before they knew it and soon they were all allotted to their classes. The four were allotted to class B thanks to them registering under a party. Although Jim and Maya were pissed about their classes, they were still happy that they were in the same group. Had one of them were a warrior, the school was sure to have split them apart. Warriors were relatively that rare a job.
