《The Wu Clan's Rise: Legends of the twin dragons》Chapter 47- End This In The Next Move… Lu Dai’s Maniacal Laughter

With his hands behind his back, Ling Shui looked at Shen Long and then said, “It seems like you figured out the gist of my Daoist magic, seeing as you were just about to give up.”
Hearing that, Shen Long snorted and said, “Even if I was on the verge of death I wouldn’t have yielded. If I did, then there would have been no point in me cultivating my Tyrannical Demon God body.”
Ling Shui frowned upon hearing that.
He had battled Shen Long before, so he knew about the special nature of his body cultivation technique. The longer Shen Long battled, the more powerful that red aura around him gets, subsequently increasing his combat power.
That's why Ling Shui didn’t want to drag this battle out, he wanted to wear down Shen Long mentally slowly until he loses his morale to fight, and then beat him in an instant. However, since his Shen Long figured out the true nature of his Daoist magic he decided to change his plans.
“Shen Long, I’m not going to waste my time in the Lesser Pocket Realm fighting you. It's only open for a full twenty-four hours and I’ve already wasted one and a half hours in our battle. I’m going to end this in the next move.”
As Ling Shui said that his figure burst into a white fog, and merge with the surrounding.
Not even a second after this happened, Shen Long felt the earth beneath him started to tremble uncontrollably. The white fog in the surroundings simultaneously started to become thicker, causing the already frigid temperature to amplify even more.
Seeing this Shen Long’s expression became serious.
The constant swirling red aura around him was even beginning to slow down, as it started to become frozen.
This Daoist magic spell that Ling Shui got from the Ancient Treasure Palace, had allowed him to increase his control over the elemental laws of ice within a specific area.
Shen Long thought that he could hold out until this spell runs out of fuel, but he didn’t take into account that Ling Shui could manipulate it in this way.
Each time the fog creates and reforms the ice giants, Ling Shui’s control over the elemental laws of ice weakens along with the spell.
What happened before was that Ling Shui was slowly decreasing the size of the blue lotus, each time the fog depletes and the spell weakens. But now, Shen Long could sense that Ling Shui was condensing the blue lotus all at once, resulting in the ice elemental laws to amplify to a terrifying degree.
It was even starting to invade his Tyrannical Demon God's manifestation and freezing it.
Not only was Shen Long serious, a sense of foreboding well-up in his heart.
On the outside of the blue lotus, the hundred or so disciples were watching wide-eyed as it began to shrink at a rapid speed.

In only a few breaths of time, it was already down to around three hundred meters in radius.
All the disciples could sense that the smaller it shrank, the more terrifying it became. And they could sense the frigid energy wafting from it amplifying non-stop.
Back in the center of the blue lotus, Shen Long was shivering from the coldness and even frost started to appear on his mountain of a body for the first time.
Shen Long bellowed in rage as he summon everything he had. Like a spark that caught ablaze his dwindling red aura roared to life.
As the blue lotus shrunk to a hundred meters, the petals began to close and the frigid energy amplified again.
Without wasting any time, Shen Long condensed all the red aura onto his jade-green halberd, and with every amount of strength he had, he leaped into the air and slashed towards the sky at the closing blue lotus.
From his halberd, a ten-meter-long blood-red arc, that gave off the feeling of a tyrannical demon god, slammed into Ling Shui’s blue lotus causing a deafening explosion to echo across the battlefield.
The shock wave of the explosion was unable to be contained by the blue lotus as it tore it apart from the inside, and spread out to even come batting against the disciples' faces.
All of them stared on at the devastating scene with shock and horror. They couldn’t believe this was actually a battle between two early Core Formation disciples.
They all thought back to Lu Dai’s, words and they couldn't help but start to fear Ling Shui and Shen Long.
The fact that this Daoist magic spell used by Ling Shui was this powerful, and Shen Long could still stand up to it even then, made them realize that these were people they could never be compared to. They would only be able to look up at them as they soar in the sky, while they crawl and mingle on the earth.
As everyone was taking in this epic battle between Ling Shui and Shen Long, out of fricking nowhere, a gigantic bird-type demonic beast appeared from the clouds in the sky.
Its massive body just swoop down from the clouds to hover over the battlefield.
Everyone’s face went pale as a shrill scream of a disciple echoed out.
“That’s a peak tier rank 3 demonic beast!! What is a demonic beast like that doing here?! Isn’t there a warding spell surrounding the Ancient Treasure Palaces that prevents demonic beast from coming close?!”
Chenguang who was still among the crowd frowned upon seeing the bird-type demonic beast, but suddenly relaxed her features.
Lu Dai had stopped a fair distance away at the tree line that lead into the forest surrounding the Ancient Treasure Palace.
Seeing that the battle was over, he was thinking of returning, but his steps paused as he saw the demonic beast that suddenly appeared above the battlefield.

“That’s a demonic beast with a bloodline, it must be the young masters of the Wu Clan.”
As Lu Dai said that, he flipped open his fan and fanned himself.
A smile then appeared on his face as he said, “It looks like they chose this Ancient Treasure Palace to come to, what a coincidence. However, judging by the timing at which they appeared, they must have been here all along, probably observing Ling Shui and Shen Long’s battle.”
Lu Dai then slams the fan shut on his left palm, his voice becoming somewhat excited.
“Interesting, interesting, could it be that my luck is so great that I get to witness if that long-forgotten rumor is true? Hahaha,… the Ancient Treasure Palaces’ supposed legacies, only someone with a Legendary Physique could obtain them. The records speculated that the pocket realms were created by experts of the past to pass on the Dao. Grandfather even said that the other planets didn’t possess any Lesser or Greater Pocket Realms, only our Daiyu planet. In the past thousands of years, there were two instances where a disciple who possesses a Legendary Physique, has come to our Daiyu planet to obtain the Ancient Treasure Palaces’ Legacies. However, they failed, and it was then speculated that there was no legacy to obtain, but, some people thought differently. They thought that since the Pocket Realms were unique to planet Daiyu, then maybe only someone who had born on planet Daiyu with a Legendary Physique, could obtain it.”
Lu Dai's eyes began to shine as he stared at the demonic beast landing outside of the Ancient Treasure Palace’s barrier.
With his heart burning with curiosity and anticipation, he leaped onto a nearby boulder and sat down cross-legged.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If someone like him who possesses the third rank Legendary Physique and was born on planet Daiyu, can’t make that Ancient Treasure Palace spit out its legacy, then there probably is none.”
Lu Dai then laughed and said, “Whether the legacy is real or not, when I carry the report back to the sect, senior brother is going to be so envious… hahaha.”
As Lu Dai laugh maniacally, he couldn’t help but flip open his paper fan and give himself a good fanning.
Lu Dai’s Severance Sect wasn’t only known as a Sage-level sect, but they were also known as historians, that record and update historical data of the planet Daiyu. Disciples of the sect are required to go out into the cultivation world and collect reports of the current situation of planet.
As a matter of fact, they took this just as seriously as cultivating, or even slightly more.
Disciples were even given cultivation resources base on the importance of the information they gathered.
The fact that Lu Dai would be able to bring back a report that involved the validity or the disproving of the Ancient Treasure Palaces’ legacies existence, was a major deal, not only for him and the Severance Sect, but the entire Daiyu planet as a whole.
Thinking about all of the mythical and archaic treasures that were collecting dust in his sect, Lu Dai couldn’t but drool at the thought of getting his hands on some.
He was thinking to himself that, as soon he gets them, the first thing he’s going to do is rub it in his senior brother’s face. He could already picture his senior brother’s expression as he kneeled in front of him, while Lu Dai held up his treasures.
"Bahahahahahaha!!"
Lu Dai suddenly began another round of maniacal laughter.

Hey there my Royal Road readers!!
I'm absolutely sorry to say that this is the last chapter I can post on here. I'm currently in two contracts that forbid me from releasing lock chapters for free on other websites.
I'll be posting on Webnovel and Goodnovel regularly so you guys can head over there and continue reading. Though you'll have to pay to read the chapters since they're locked.
However, I decided I'm gonna be releasing my locked chapters over on my Patreon page, as I realized that it's cheaper than paying for it on Goodnovel or Webnovel. Though there will be a downside as the chapters over on Patreon will have to be two chaps behind what's on Webnovel, but don't be discouraged, if you guys can't afford all of that you can join the support tier where you'll only pay $1 a month. I'll still be grateful to lovely readers then.
I hope you guys will continue reading this book as I have so much plan for it. Well, see ya!! ~waves gb~
Oh, I almost forgot, I have another novel that's in the same multiverse as this one. It's only on Webnovel and so far it has 14 chapters and counting. And don't worry they are free to read. It's called, 'The Founder of Qi Cultivation Reincarnates'.
And from the title, you guys can probably tell that it's another reincarnation novel where the mc has an OP cultivation from the start. So check it out if you lovely readers are interested.
Oooor, tell me if you rather have it here on Royal Road to read. Depending on your responses I'll think about bringing it over here.

But those of us that had seen the boy, knew the truth. His eyes were no longer the deep, vibrant color of his father. They were the green of rot, his skin the color of a corpse.
