《The Wu Clan's Rise: Legends of the twin dragons》Chapter 33- Fourth And Fifth Move… Unbeknownst

Weisheng was looking up at Longwei as his crescent blade pulsate with powerful laws of water. Each time it pulsated the water below his feet would ripple in response.
The effects of the explosion calmed down and everything on the battlefield became silent.
Then, from the sky, Longwei's aura shifted from sharp and fierce to forceful and overbearing.
Standing on his hovering Sword Qi, Longwei placed his palms together and that overbearing aura started to increase in intensity.
Weisheng's expression became serious as he sensed the aura surrounding Longwei getting stronger and stronger.
'What spell is this?!'
Weisheng has heard of the many Legends surrounding the Wu Clan's Legacy Techniques and their Daoist spells.
They were extremely powerful and even the Xingyun Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty would like to get their hands on them. He already knew that Longwei was a sword cultivator, but the spell he was using he had never heard of it before.
As Longwei's aura increased, even more, a smirk appeared on his lips.
This spell was something his granduncle himself invented. Even though the most well-known techniques and Daoist spells of the Wu Clan were the complementary techniques from the Legacy cultivation methods.
There were many more that went unknown by people outside of the clan, which was equally as powerful and shocking.
His granduncle's palm technique was one of them.
Longwei's overbearing aura peaked and with a bellow, he shoved his glowing jade-green palm downwards.
"Godly Palm: Replacing the heavens!!"
A huge detailed jade-green palm print started to fall towards Weisheng, what immediately followed was an insurmountable pressure that came crashing down from the sky. Its power was even greater than the heavenly sword Longwei had summoned before.
Weisheng watched as the palm blotted out the sky and cast a huge shadow on the pond.
With a solemn face, Weisheng raised the crescent blade above his head and it began to release a resplendent blue radiance. Immediately after, a portion of the water in the four acres pond began to rise into the air and then coalesce into a water palm that met Longwei's jade-green palm.
A loud bang resounded that sent shock waves everywhere upon impact.
The water palm Weisheng created half-collapsed, but it had managed to successfully stop Longwei's own palm attack.
Weisheng was within the base of the water palm and he could feel Longwei's jade-green palm inching downwards trying to crush him. Gritting his teeth, he waved his glowing crescent blade and the water palm immediately started to reform.

Longwei's palm came to a halt and was even starting to be forced back by Weisheng. After a few seconds, Longwei's palm seem to be unable to compete with Weisheng's water palm and began to be overpowered.
As time passed, it began to get weaker and weaker.
Sensing this, Weisheng felt something was off, but before he could register what was wrong, a feeling of terror suddenly washed over him. He turned to look to his right to see a formless, almost indivisible sword cutting through the water towards his throat.
Without even thinking, Weisheng controlled the water surrounding him and retreated at high speeds.
But even with Weisheng's lightning-like speed, the formless sword seem to be even faster, and worst of all Weisheng sensed that he had been locked onto by this strange sword. No matter where he went this sword felt like it would follow him, even if he went all the way to the other side of the Wu Continent.
'Sword Intent!! This is the legendary Sword Intent!!'
Weisheng was shocked that Longwei had managed to comprehend Sword Intent.
Feeling the terrifying power emanating from it, his face went pale as he realized that this attack could possibly take his life.
With a loud splash, Weisheng exited his conjured water palm and came out into the opening.
The Sword Intent had caught up to him and came bearing down on him. On the brink of death, Weisheng became hysterical and he bellowed out a shout while a blazing crimson fire armor appeared around his body.
The blue crescent blade in his hand shone even more as he released all of his cultivation base, even the seal that kept his cultivation suppressed was threatening to unravel. However, the voice of the Fire Phoenix Clan member who hadn't said anything since the battle started, suddenly spoke in his head.
'Don't release the seal!!'
Hearing that Weisheng's actions of releasing the seal paused, and just when he thought that this Phoenix Clan member wanted him to die, the deadly Sword Intent that had been bearing down on him suddenly vanished.
Before Weisheng could register what was happening, the voice of the Phoenix Clan member resounded in his head again.
'Behind you!!'
Weisheng quickly turned around only to see Longwei appearing out of nowhere, and then slashing down at him with a sword conjured from Sword Intent.

'This is your chance, don't miss it!!'
The voice of the Fire Phoenix Clan member sounded again.
Weisheng gritted his teeth and with crazed eyes, he swung his crescent blade to meet Longwei's Sword Intent, but it easily shattered upon impact.
Instead of retreating, Weisheng took a step forward and completely ignore Longwei's deadly sword attack as he struck out at Longwei's chest.
Slightly stunned by Weisheng's actions, Longwei didn't have time to block his palm attack.
Longwei's sword sliced across Weisheng's chest, the fire armor he wore reduced the power of the Sword Intent, but it still created a bone-deep wound that spurted out a fountain of blood.
Weisheng's palm made contact with Longwei's chest simultaneously, and the two were sent flying backward. With Weisheng violently coughing up pieces of his internal organs, while blood continued to flow from the gaping wound on his chest.
Longwei wasn't better off, as his chest had sunken in due to Weisheng's palm strike. His sternum was shattered and he suffered serious internal injuries.
With a deathly pale face and a stream of blood flowing at the corner of his lips, Longwei began to fall into the pond, but before he could enter the water, Longmin's figure suddenly fade into being underneath him and caught his body.
With a frantic voice Longmin said, "Quick, brother eat this."
Longmin shoved a small white medicinal pill into Longwei's mouth.
That pill, which was well known among cultivators as a recovery pill, entered Longwei's mouth and slid down his throat. Immediately after, he felt a warm sensation in his stomach as the white pill quickly dissolved and began to heal his broken bones and internal injuries.
Longmin's figure faded away with Longwei in his arms, his footsteps leaving ripples on the water's surface as he went to the pond's edge.
After reaching solid ground, Longmin placed Longwei to lay down.
With a worried expression, Longmin said, "Are you alright, brother?"
Longwei might be strong enough to challenge an early Core Formation expert, but he wasn't a Core Formation cultivator himself. When someone enters the Core Formation realm, for them to handle the massive amount of Spiritual Qi their golden core stores, their body's strength, and resilience would increase.
Weisheng's attack was a full blow from a peak early-stage Core Formation expert.
Longwei only had the physique of a mid Foundation realm expert, plus the fact that he was a sword cultivator with a slightly weaker body than average. If he hadn't reacted fast enough and released his sword aura, blocking forty percent of Weisheng's palm attack he might have been severely crippled.
Longwei slowly opened his eyes and choked out, "I-I'm fine."
Nope.
Because unbeknownst to him, or even Longmin, a stream of frigid energy had entered his body from Weisheng's palm. When Longmin had caught Longwei, a piece of that frigid energy had entered through his palms as well.
This frigid energy was strange because it didn't harm them in any way, it just remained undetected as it circulated throughout their bodies looking for something.
Somewhere within Longwei and Longmin's bodies, a transparent figure of an old man was sitting crossed-legged in a lotus position.
This was the Divine imprint left behind by their granduncle.
It was placed within them as a precaution, such that if the two brothers were ever in life-threatening danger it would protect them.
A Saint realm expert's Divine imprint was nothing to scoff at.
It was something only an expert of their level could accomplish to a degree where they could slay anyone below their level and not be present. But this wasn't something that could be done willfully because the price a Saint realm expert would have to pay each time was too enormous.
The fact that Longwei and Longmin both had one was already shocking. The Grand Elder would have had to sacrifice a significant portion of his cultivation to create two Divine imprints, while the other Saint realm experts on the other continents would have refused to create even one if it wasn't for their immediate family member, like their son or daughter.
However, as powerful as the Grand Elder's Divine imprint may be, it failed to react or even show a response as the frigid energy wrapped itself around them, and slowly began cutting off their senses to the outside world.
Thus rendering their purpose useless.
How was this accomplished?
Who knows, stay tuned to find out... oh, and leave a gift for your kind author so he knows to keep on pumping out chapters for you lovely readers.

Grim Beginnings
For most, ghosts and monsters were fantasy. For Tessa Byrne-Reyes, they were a constant in her daily life as a reaper. The legendary gods and creatures of mythology were, to her, historical figures. From a young age, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, possessing what she saw as a curse but what her family considered a gift. It was her birthright, to use her abilities to guide the deceased to the afterlife of an eternity in peace or in torment. Her classmates viewed her as "the fainting girl" who would pass out in the middle of a lesson with inexplicable injuries. She experienced each death in the town of Belmont Falls, from the mundane to the gruesome. A gunshot wound in the gut, broken ribs, her heart ceasing to beat for several minutes. No one understood what caused these incidents but over the years, she gained a reputation for being abnormal. While Tessa is the freak of Belmont Falls, Fin Belmont, the charming rebel and son of the richest man in town, is her polar opposite. Knowing each other for years but never saying more than a dozen words between them, one night changes everything, thrusting them into each other's unfamiliar and daunting worlds.
