《The Wu Clan's Rise: Legends of the twin dragons》Chapter 19- The Furious Elder Li

"Which grave did this old fart crawled out from? Do you think of yourself as hot-stuff because you're an Elder from the Crescent Moon Sect? Step aside you old foggy."
Longwei then ignored the sour look on Elder Li's face and turned to the six disciples behind him.
"If someone other than this bag of bones doesn't step out now then the Crescent Moon Sect is banned from ever stepping foot into any of the three Lesser Pocket Realms."
Immediate gasps could be heard from the crowd of disciples.
They were wondering how the Crescent Moon Sect was going to deal with this. Although it might seem that Longwei indeed had no qualifications to make such decisions, his father on the other hand can.
Why would the Crescent Moon Sect antagonize the sons of the Wu Clan's patriarch?
If this matter blows out of proportions from a simple argument between the younger generation to Elders getting involved, aren't the Crescent Moon Sect just shooting themselves in the foot?
Elder Li's face was red at this moment.
Ever since he had become an Elder of the Crescent Moon Sect no one has ever dared to talk to him in such a way. He was a powerful expert in the Nirvana realm that could summon the wind and rain with one command and with another, determine the life and death of thousands.
Even the Elders of the Wu Clan would give him face when dealing with him, but now, a stinking sharp tongue brat not even in the Core Formation stage was speaking to him in such a condescending manner. This made him livid with rage and he was not known in his sect for accepting humiliation with a smile.
With steely eyes, he stared at Longwei as an intangible force began to spread from his body. In the surroundings, dust started to kick up and everyone suddenly felt the gravity in the valley multiplied on their shoulders.

Up in the air clouds began to swirl around as they turn dark gray in color.
All the disciples began to panic as they stared aghast at the phenomenons happening around them.
One disciple with an ashen face said with a slight tremble in his voice.
"Is this the power of Nirvana realm expert?! I can't believe it, isn't he just releasing a bit of his cultivation aura?!"
Another disciple with wobbly legs chimed in and said,
"Nirvana realm experts are said to be able to manipulate the laws between heaven and earth to a certain degree, creating such changes in the environment is easy for them and can be done with only a thought. There's even a saying that one only becomes a true expert when they enter the Nirvana realm, anything below that is just an ant."
Looking at Elder Li's grim expression and showy display, Longwei was not impressed.
Feeling the pressure around him his expression only became colder.
'What does he think he's doing? For an Elder from the Crescent Moon Sect to openly show such hostility towards us, do they really intend to go against the Wu Clan?'
Longwei slightly shifted his gaze towards the six Crescent Moon Sect disciples and stopped at a particular one.
It was a male disciple that looked around seventeen, eighteen, and he wore a perpetual cold expression as he stared over in Longwei and Longmin's direction.
Longwei had long discovered who had insulted his brother, but he had played dumb to see their reaction when he revoke their rights to enter the Pocket Realm.
And sure enough, this situation occurred.
He was sure they were up to something. Even though it might seem like the crowd of disciples were all randomly commenting and arguing over the fact that he and Longmin had taken away the spots to enter the Pocket Realm, that was not the case.

He realized that there were specific disciples in the background that were purposefully guiding the conversation and stirring up the crowd. Someone was orchestrating the entire thing.
He had his suspicions when he made them shut up by calling them dogs, but he wasn't interested in getting involved. His brother had finally been able to leave the clan, and he cared more about that than what the mastermind was trying to accomplish.
However, they went and target his brother without any warning, causing him to retaliate back without any mercy.
Looking back at the furious Elder Li, Longwei only gave him a mocking smile.
The two late-stage Core Formation guards behind him and Longmin immediately step forward to stand between them and Elder Li.
Under Elder Li's pressure, their indifferent expression remained unchanged, but their eyes exuded an ominous light.
As they stood there, their bodies began to release a force that quickly went straight towards Elder Li.
With a contemptuous expression on his face, Elder Li wondered what two insignificant Core Formation experts could do to him. The gap between the Core Formation realm and the Nirvana realm can't be measured.
If an army of Core Formation realm experts went up against a Nirvana realm expert, then they would be slaughter as easily as killing a dog or a chicken.
Even though Elder Li was an early stage Nirvana realm expert his power was far beyond that of any Core Formation expert.
With a cold snort he increased the pressure he was releasing, resulting in a massive wind storm being created as well as lightning to start flashing violently in the churning clouds in the sky.
The other Elders in the crowd all released their own cultivation base to protect their sect disciples and clan members from the increasing pressure.
Elder Li looked like an all-powerful ruler as he stood there releasing an insurmountable pressure in his surroundings. His expression was still filled with mockery while the two Core Formation experts tried to fight back against him.
As the two forces from the Core Formation realm bodyguards came closer to Elder Li it clashed against an invisible wall unable to move.
The scorn on Elder Li's face became even deeper. He then pushed back against the two forces, planning to force them back and overwhelm the two black robe men, but as he did his eyes suddenly widen in shock.
He realized that no matter how hard he tried he couldn't push it back.
Suddenly, the two forces from the bodyguards in black began to expand, and quickly surround Elder Li.
Then, like an elephant stepping on an ant, the force from the two bodyguards crushed down on him.
The sound of a balloon popping could be heard as the pressure Elder Li was emitting dissipated.
The phenomenons vanished and the churning clouds in the sky stopped and returned to normal.
Stumbling back with an ashen face, Elder Li could feel his veins and meridians rupture from the backlash of Spiritual Qi. A mouth full of blood was even threatening to come up through his throat but he managed to force it back down.
*******
~Fun Fact~
I once had a dream that I was an ant and an elephant had accidentally stepped on me. ~It wasn't a good dream :( ~
