Chapter 37 Cruising On The Ocean Of Safety
[Splash!] A luxurious yacht being handled by Nigel was cruising over the open seas on its way to Liberal Vista. Many exciting individuals were on board having fun.
“Achoo!” Selene was currently in a cabin changing her wet clothes. A day had passed since her big prison break. Finished wiggling into dry apparels, moreover, checking the patched wound on her left shoulder, Selene came on deck to speak to Babe.
“Girl, how are feeling now?” Babe enquired after seeing Selene’s depressive look.
“I’m good now. Thanks for asking.” Selene glanced around in search of someone specific. “Where is that guy?”
“You mean, Pac? He’s over there.” Babe pointed towards the back of the yacht where Pac was being helped up out of the water by another person. He showed off 3 juicy Skipjack Tunas as he came over to the small crowd.
“Who’s hungry?”
“Me! Me!”
“Alright, I’ll make them extra delicious for you guys.” Pac scaled the ugly fishes, rid them of their unwanted properties, seasoned them nicely then prepared them on a grill.
Everyone onboard the yacht sat in a small circle as they ate their meal. (Grilled fish with fried dumplings) They chatted about various things. Eventually, Selene found herself pitching in their conversation. At first, she felt awkward but then she opened up to the Fahtier Rebels about her experienced ordeal.
“Thank you all for getting me out of there safely. I should have listened to your early warnings. Sorry for being so stuck up.”
“Don’t worry about it. Last night confirmed that you have the gift. You are one of us now.”
“The gift?” Selene reminisced about the bombastic onion farts she used to blast herself out of quarantine. “I can’t fully control it though, neither do I know how to explain what took place in my body.” She felt embarrassed mentioning her farts to so many people. (6 to be exact)

Babe patted Selene’s shoulder. “The leader will explain to you when we get back.”
“About that…” Selene thought that she needed to do something else before she tossed her previous life behind for good. “Can we make a small detour before we go to that tropical island?”
“What do you have in mind?” Nigel asked since he was the operator of the yacht.
Selene took a while before answering: “My parents, I need to wish them goodbye.”
“Are you insane? Your home will be crawling with FPD operatives now that they are aware of your escape.”
“I know, but I can’t just leave without saying anything to them. Even if it is only a letter I want to send it to them.”
Perceiving Selene’s sorrowful expression, Pac spoke up. “I’ll deliver the message for you. So don’t worry about it and head straight to Liberal Vista.”
“Pac, you really want to go there?” Nigel was stunned that Pac would be this brave.
“It’s fine. They don’t know my face. I’ll just deliver the message and be out. Nigel we are going to pass by the western region of Upaya on our way back to the island. Drop me off close to shore and I’ll do the rest from there.”
“Oh, alright.”
“Really, you would do that for me?” Selene clasped Pac’s hand emotionally while staring directly into his eyes.
Pac felt a bit flustered. “I said I will do it so I’ll do it. You can let go of my hands now.”
“Oh, sorry.” Selene withdrew her embrace from Pac’s fingers. “Then can you do an additional task for me?”
“Like what?” [Hush! Hush! Hush!] “Oh? If I can get it out without being noticed then I’ll try. No promises though.”

“Oh, thank you so much.” [Hug!] Selene unintentionally embraced Pac again.
“Hey! Hey!”
“Ha-ha-ha-ha!” The onlookers laughed at Pac and Selene’s funny moment.
…….
Thorn Passion Penitentiary was crawling with news reporters, angry mourners and FPD operatives. Lieutenant Fain being accompanied by officer Hizen did a thorough investigation of the prison break. They tried accessing the video footage stored in Warden Cho’s office, but he only provided them with fragments of Selene’s prison break to maintain is lie that it was an armed force of troops that helped Selene escape. The guards who were questioned also stuck with Warden Cho’s report.
“So she was affiliated with that infamous organisation after all? Warden, did you get a good look at their faces?”
“Ah, no. they were all masked in black.”
“They could have had inside help.” Lieutenant Fain ordered Warden Cho to scroll through the available footages. “Stop there. Go back a little bit before those guards entered her cell.” [Skip! Skip!] “Hm? Why did she order such an unnatural amount of onions for her last meal?”
Lieutenant Fain felt that something was suspicious while inspecting the footage. “When I first interrogated her she said that she dislikes onions due to them giving her some sort of upset stomach issue. Wait a moment, is this…?”
“What is it, Ms Fain?”
“I see now. So that’s it.” Lieutenant Fain saw a glimpse of Selene farting in her cell after the lascivious guards went inside. (Dorio & Mason) “Her Fahtier abilities must can only manifest whenever she eats a whopping amount of onions. I need to find out more about these Fahtier rebels if I’m to thoroughly wipe them out.” Lieutenant Fain kept analysing the available footages captured by the cameras.
………
[Whoosh!] “Hurry back okay!” Nigel approached the western harbour of Upaya and let off Pac to tend to his task.
Pac waved goodbye saying: “Don’t worry I’ll be back before you know it.”
“Be careful and remember what I asked.” Selene reminded Pac to specifically pass her message to her father and not her understandable mother.
“Yeah, I remember. See you guys back on the island.” Finish saying his goodbyes, Pac dashed off in the direction of the Gomez residence under the guise of sunshine. He was wearing loose tropical clothing to blend in as a tourist.
“I hope that he doesn’t get caught.” Selene said. Babe came beside her and rested an arm on her shoulder.
“Don’t worry, girl. Pac can handle himself. Nigel! Get us out of here.”
“Say no more, Babe.” [Whoosh!] Nigel directed the yacht from the harbour; setting sail again to their prescribed destination, Liberal Vista.
