《Wilberforce》Chapter 158: Heeda (6)

Han'ibal put his hands together and summoned an artificial cloud above the battlefield. The clouds turned to flames and rained on Heeda. Miki Abbas drew on a book. He used the drawing to summon a boomerang and threw it at her. Deniz summoned giant battle nails that surrounded Hidaya and prevented her from moving. Dul'Ururu frantically pulled stars out of his soul bank and threw them at her.

There were so many attacks that the sky turned red and the earth melted. And yet Hidaya swung her blade without backing down.

She cut through the boomerang and the battle nails and took the stars and the fire rain head-on. And yet, she still stood after everything.

"How can she be so powerful?" Han'ibal mumbled, unable to believe his eyes. He was a King. How could she take his attack head-on and survive? Just what was she?

Hidaya used their moment of hesitation to launch her counterattack. Lightning bolts rained down on her enemies as she also sent flying swords from impossible angles. They were forced to take a step back before they retaliated with attacks of their own.

Amidst all these, Hidaya felt another spear coming for her from the second world. And another targeting Nostalgia and Armad from the third world.

She was baffled. This wasn't just any spear. It was the Celest Hound formed from the condensation of one billion souls of powerful Benders and beasts. A soul was naturally ethereal. But when you condensed ten souls together, they would gain some form. When you condensed a thousand souls together, the form would become clear. When you condensed a hundred thousand souls, they would begin to exhibit some properties of a material body. After he surpassed Deva, the Lord King condensed one billion souls to create the Celest Hound. There were only a few Celest Hounds before Amri. They were used to kill Eyrion.

It was understandable if the Lord King had produced several Celest Hounds during the last thousand years, but only the Lord King and the crown prince could use the Celest Hound. The crown prince couldn't throw it from a distance. Only when he was close, maybe a hundred meters or less. So the first and second spears thrown from the first world must have come from the Lord King. Although he wouldn't leave his palace to kill her, he wouldn't mind killing her from there. So Hidaya sealed the first world long enough for her to escape. She even used her Sun to seal the crown prince, so even if he'd more spears he couldn't use them now.

So, what exactly happened? She glanced over to the crown prince and saw him smiling wickedly at her from the distance. His sudden aged appearance made him look especially menacing.

At that moment, Hidaya understood what happened. Her information about the prince's current power was flawed. It was almost at the level of Eyrion himself, which was simply unbelievably insane. She also understood what she must do, but she was blinded already and couldn't use the only thing that could destroy the spears.

She teleported in front of Nostalgia just in time to intercept the first spear from the second world. The unforgiving spear pierced her stomach. Five more spears, each from one of the five lower worlds, appeared around Hidaya. All the spears aimed at Armad.

Hidaya blocked them all, using her body as a shield. The spear from the third world pierced through her left thigh. The one from the fourth world pierced through her right thigh. The spear coming from the fifth world pierced through her pelvis. The sixth spear pierced through her knee. As if being controlled remotely, the last spear dodged Hidaya and aimed for Armad.

Hidaya jumped and blocked it with her neck.

By the time it ended, Heeda was soaked in blood. Her body was impaled with several spears. It was unsightly.

Using the last strength in her, she pushed Nostalgia and brother into the equatora.

When the jinzidal Kings arrived, Dul'Ururu tried to follow Armad and Nostalgia, but they were already gone. He angrily turned to Hidaya, summoning several pillars of black light to capture her soul.

Any recently deceased Bender would release their soul and could be captured by using appropriate methods.

Dul'Ururu remained inside the pillars of light for several minutes, but in the end, Hidaya's soul evaded capture.

Bihanzin left the battlefield first. He didn't want to cross paths with Ururu now. The other three Kings also left. They might not have any problem with meeting the crown prince now, but they were required to show their anger and disagreement over Ururu's attempt to incapacitate them by annihilating the djinn realm. Unless an appropriate solution was found, they would continue to evade all meetings arranged by Ururu.

When Dul'ururu returned to the prince, the first question he asked him was if he captured Hidaya's soul. Dul'Ururu shook his head in regret.

"Can you move?" Dul'Ururu asked the prince.

"I can't. It will take a while before I can replenish my energy and be able to move."

Dul'Ururu nodded. He then looked at the prince with a confused expression. "Where did the Celest Hounds come from? Did the Lord King interfere?"

The prince laughed before replying, "No one thought I could do it. Everyone believed I used my father's spears to kill Eyrion. I used that advantage against Heeda. She knew the Lord King wouldn't give me so many spears, and even if he did, I couldn't throw it from so far away. But she was wrong.

"I already planted the spears in each of the seven worlds when I came here. If she had known the first two spears that came from the first world were my doing, she wouldn't have wasted her time sealing the first world.

"Anyway, I still failed in my assignment to kill Armad." He didn't sound disappointed at all. He was so excited that he forgot he currently couldn't move.

Dul'Ururu rolled his eyes. "What about Bihanzin? He went against the religion of jinzidal. We can't forgive him."

The prince nodded. "We won't. Father wants to have a chat with him, where is he now?"

Meanwhile, Bihanzin emerged at the entrance to the city of Shadeniza. The same city currently inhabited by the vow travelers, and the home of Nusi Djinn. A kingdom that had been separated from the rest of humanity a long time ago.

A hundred vow travelers came out to meet Bihanzin. They all bowed before him.

"What is your command, Lord Bihanzin?"

Bihanzin was deep in thought and didn't reply. He kept staring at the clouds in the distance as if he was missing something.
