《Wilberforce》Chapter 157: Heeda (5)

Black Stone was the boundary separating the first world from the rest of the worlds. It also housed the restraining chains that prevented the lower worlds from exceeding 40,000 years and reaching their capacity. The chains disintegrated when the stone shattered, and light flooded the lower worlds. Heeda had removed the age-long curse.
Meanwhile, two things happened while the prince was aging:
First, the prince had concentrated every ounce of strength from his soul bank and transferred it to his spear. At the same time he threw the spear, another spear descended from the first world.
Even Heeda didn't sense the spear from the first world for it was hidden behind countless layers of human souls. She moved her left leg forward and her right backward to destroy the spear shot by the prince. But right then, the hair on her neck stood on end. A chill crept up her spine. She turned and saw another spear about to impale Armad.
It was too close. The spear looked the same as the one from the prince; Hidaya had seen it before. It couldn't be dodged or blocked. It was meant for the soul so physical barriers mattered little to it. All barriers didn't matter. It was just like her Sun or Moon attacks. She could destroy the spear aiming for Armad using her Moon, of course, but then she couldn't destroy or dodge the attack from the prince.
Hidaya didn't hesitate. She cast her left eye on the spear. The moon hovering above her intercepted the spear aiming for Armad.
Boom.
The spear dug into the moon and exploded. But, at the same time, the first spear went through her chest. The impact forced her back several steps. But she didn't utter a single sound despite the pain and breathlessness.

Meanwhile, as the blood flowed from her chest, another spear descended from the first world again. It was still aiming for Armad.
One moment the spear was far away and the next it was right next to Armad.
Whenever Heeda used the Sun and Moon twice at a time, the eye involved would close and she would become blind. But did she have any other option to destroy the spears? No.
Using her 'moon' eye, she destroyed the spear by summoning another moon, and then she used the 'sun' eye to summon a gigantic sun to replace the Black Stone, effectively locking the first world and keeping everyone in until the seal was deactivated. No more attacks from the first world.
"Do you think I came unprepared?" The prince, whose Bends had been rendered inactive and useless for the time being, said. "For how long do you think your seal will last? You'll regret this."
Hidaya had already gone blind. The prince was right: the seal would only hold for a short while. After a short debate, she fled toward the wall and the equatora. She was blind, bleeding, and a spear was still embedded in her chest.
"What are you waiting for? Bring her to me!" The prince barked at the jinzidal Kings when he saw her escaping.
Dul'Ururu arrived on the battlefield with a herd of Dordor and joined the hunt.
Hidaya, hindered by her blindness and wounds, couldn't outrun them. She took Nostalgia out of her bag of holding.
The young woman had recovered from her wounds, and Hidaya handed Armad over to her and said, "I will hold them, head for the equatora."
Nostalgia looked at Bihanzin with hatred before taking to her heels.
Bihanzin laughed. "You think we are going to let you escape?"

Bihanzin ran to the left and Dul'Ururu ran to the right. They wanted to go around Hidaya and kill Nostalgia and Armad. Heeda reached with her hands to make a gesture, but she was interrupted by a volley of fireballs from Han'ibal. She tripped and almost fell. But instead of backing down, she used her trip as a gesture and summoned a flame wall that blocked their way.
The flame was completely black and released piercing sounds as it burned.
"Black Flame, huh?" Dul'ururu chuckled. "You created this flame by copying our flame and you dare call it original!" He shot a beam of light at her, which she easily blocked with her blade. But the edge of the blade was suddenly covered with black smoke that turned into rust.
Dul'Ururu said, "Our flame burned so hot that people don't even see the flames. The black light and the smoke are only the results of the flame burning out. Hidaya, that is the true Black Flame, not your fake flame that doesn't even burn. You should hide in shame and die in fear. Army, force your way through and kill that girl. Bring the boy to me." He pointed forward.
The herd of dordor behind him went for the flame, but the first to touch it turned to vapor.
"It doesn't even burn, you said?" Heeda chuckled.
Dul'Ururu gritted his teeth. He commanded, "Don't stop. Find a way around it or die."
The Dordor went crazy. They ran into the fire, hoping to create a path with sheer numbers. But none of them escaped. The flame burned all.
Heeda was losing too much blood. The spear sucked at her soul, and the flame she summoned got its strength from her soul as well.
Her opponents kept trying to take her down, but even in her condition, they found it almost impossible.
"Let's attack together!" Dul'Ururu roared.
