《Wilberforce》Chapter 48: The Command of Ururu

PREVIOUS YEARS (RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIDAYA AND JI-DAIME)
Hidaya sighed as she watched the demon Ji-Daime floating in the air. "The reason why Ururu is stronger than any other race in this day and age is that they do not rely on djinns. So no white bead can work on them. They depend on the power of pol in their black eyes. So I want Armad to also rely on the strength of his Wilberforce blood. I don't want him to rely on you as his demon. That won't take him anywhere."
"Do you mean to despise my power? And you're using your djinn as well, why do you want to stop him from using his?"
Hidaya smiled. "I'm not saying I don't believe in your power, Ji-Daime. You're a King after all. I just believe in my brother more. There is a pol that even I don't know of in my brother's soul and I want him to use it instead of relying on the power of his djinn. So be patient as I bind you. I'll be a bit hard so Armad won't be able to channel your power. By the way, I strongly warn you not to associate yourself with my djinn again. Doing so will bring you misfortune and my wrath. My djinn has never bowed down to Ururu and they can't command him. You know of what I speak."
Ji-Daime realized he couldn't talk his way out of it and he started to retreat, trying to flee, but it was too late. Hidaya descended upon him with the power of the white bead hammer.
He had been in chains since that day and had not had a chance to meet with Armad until this time. Armad didn't know that his djinn was at the same level as Ikenga's Gal-Iyyu. And lightning wasn't the only essence controlled by his djinn. The lightning he used didn't come from his djinn. It came from the very essence in the spirit bound to his pol, which he was born with. The same strength that his sister Hidaya wanted him to use.

Back on the ring, Nusi and Ikenga were gone, Armad was unconscious and in Uznu's hands. The captain that had been assigned to take him back to the headquarters had tied him on his back with a robe and was about to leave.
"Stop," Uznu said, taking steps closer to Armad. He put his hand on Armad's chest and pumped black smoke into his body.
For some reason, the captain seemed to have a satisfied look on his face.

Back in the other realm, Armad was standing there thinking about releasing Ji-Daime when he saw a strange black smoke appeared in the landscape. He looked at the djinn for an explanation but he realized it was trembling in fear.
"ARMAD, either you free me now or you can no longer use lightning again," It spoke quickly and with fear.
Armad was surprised when he saw the calm and arrogant creature being so terrified all of a sudden.
"What's going on?"
"It's Uznu Ururu, he's trying to strengthen my restraint. I don't know how he does it but using his black eyes, he can see through your soul. He sees us right now. You have less than five seconds to decide."
The demon covered his face and trembled like a scared child, further confusing Armad.
Armad was fully aware that djinns liked to lie. Not all the statements made by Ji-Daime would be true, that much he knew. But in his case, he had no choice but to give the djinn a chance to see if he could save him.
So Armad jumped toward the creature and pulled the chains with all his strength. The chains broke and melted into ash. Armad narrowed his eyes in surprise. He hadn't expected to be able to break the chains so easily. It was probably designed for him specifically.

Ji-Daime roared and stretched his arms. He was free again. The day he was waiting for her had finally come. But first, he needed to kill Uznu to avoid falling into the same trap again.
He caught Armad and brought him back to his body. He appeared on the ring in front of Uznu Ururu holding a war hammer that was deserving of his size. His appearance attracted the remaining two captains that accompanied Uznu to the competition to come forward. The other captain carrying Armad put him down and stood with them. They stood to defend their commander.
Ji-Daime roared and swiped his hammer. The three joined hands together and created a dark laser beam trying to block him. But Ji-Daime slashed through the laser and struck them down all at once. They didn't even have the time to dodge. It then proceeded to attack Uznu, ignoring the pool of blood and severed heads around him.
Suddenly Uznu looked serious and his face looked contorted. He bit his right arm until blood appeared and he smeared the blood in his eyes. The same black smoke as when he fought Nusi came out of his eyes and stood in front of him.
"I command you with the power of Ururu in my blood and the power of Ururu in the first world to stop where you are!" Uznu commanded, pointing at Ji-Daime with the palms of both hands in a gesture.
An indescribable force flooded the arena and especially the ring. Just like that, Ji-Daime stood still. It tried desperately to move but it couldn't. Then Uznu absorbed the smoke back into his body and his pol increased dramatically until it was four thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine years. He drew his sword and lunged forward at Ji-Daime.
The demon trembled in fear. "If you kill me, my tribe will not keep quiet about it. And we both have a restraining order from the Lord King that prevents us from attacking each other..." Its voice shook, seeing that Uznu didn't stop in his track or listen to him. It tried to break from the invisible restraint but couldn't.
Uznu struck it down with his gray sword, cutting the demon in half with apparent ease. It made one final defiant scream before it melted into ashes.
"If you respect the restraining order you won't have attacked me. I will have a reason before the Lord King." Uznu spoke while wiping his sword.
Afterward, he picked up Armad and disappeared from the arena, ignoring his fallen comrades lying in the pool of their blood.
On the other hand, King Deniz and his army had protected the audience against any attack during the battle between Uznu and Armad.
When Uznu opened his eyes, the audience had of course fainted. They were now regaining consciousness. The city administration used a false report of an earthquake to explained the disruption. Meanwhile, King Deniz wrote a letter to the palace of Ururu in the second world, charging Uznu Ururu for obstructing the jinzidal and requesting the King to punish him. He added that they hoped for justice.
With that, the jinzidal tournament of that year came to an end.
