The system displayed his profile, which somewhat terrified him. There was a lot of 'kill' words mentioned. To top it all, it even involved Gods!
Moreover, it displayed things about slaves too. Shiro couldn't help but be bewildered after seeing this. He would have gone crazy or would have shouted at the top of his voice if he wasn't at Mornil's place.
Regardless, he snapped out of it and took a good look at the system, and recalled what he was doing a minute ago.
He realized that his strengths and defense, including speed, had been mentioned in numerical values. Furthermore, there indeed was a separate mention of 'stat points'.
'Hmm, yes, convert the energy into stat points…', Shiro said, trying to experiment a bit.
[Command Accepted]
[Removing impurities and converting Energy in the drink into stat points.]
[Converting…]
[…]
*Ding*
[Due to first-time conversion, the system provides a 10x boost to the amount of energy conversion…]
[…]
[The energy has been successfully converted into (01) stat point.]
[Stat Points: 01]
'Yes!', Shiro lifted his right arm as he saw the system convert the energy into stat point. He couldn't wait to test it out, adding the stat points into other numerical values!

'But, even with 10x boost, I got only 1 stat point? Well, something is better than nothing…'
He was about to ask the system to use the 1 stat point he obtained to increase his strength when suddenly, Mornil grabbed his shoulders.
"Shiro!"
"Have you gone deaf!? Can't you hear me!?"
Shiro placed his hand on his head, blaming himself for losing a sense of reality every time he uses the system.
"Shiro, do you have a headache?", Mornil asked as he placed the pot that he held initially after walking out of the kitchen, on the table.
"No, uncle. I was just thinking about something…", Shiro said as he stood up.
"Well, save it for later. Come here and have some nourishing soup. I was boiling this soup since this morning…", Mornil said as he opened the lid of the already placed pot on the table.
Shiro walked with Mornil and took a seat in one of the chairs, a different one. Mornil used a wooden ladle and scooped the soup before pouring it into a bowl. Then, he passed it to Shiro.
"Thank you, uncle."
"No worries. Be careful when you drink, it's hot."
Shiro nodded as he blew the soup for a while. He lifted the bowl up and started drinking the soup.
"Is it delicious?"
"Yes, uncle."
"Good. This soup contains herbs that would help with rejuvenating your energy."
'Ah… Energy? Hey, system, you know what to do, right?'
[Answer: Affirmative.]
The system then started isolating the impurities and the energy that could be obtained from the herbs in the soup and of course, did the same process again and again, each time Mornil gave Shiro more soul.
Of course, this was nowhere near enough to give him more stat points. With this, he understood that unless the points were in complete whole numbers, without any points in between them, more like if the numbers were decimals, they would be added soon. As for everything after the decimal point, it just got lost, or rather, wasn't displayed.

Yes, according to the system, the numbers after decimals got stockpiled but they weren't visible, that is – at least, it didn't show. But sure enough, when the value reached 1.0, it would end up displaying it.
Shiro wasn't excessively smart, but he was smart enough to understand this.
Regardless, he nodded as he continued drinking his soup.
"Uncle, I have a question to ask you."
"Yes?"
"Is it better if I go to the next town for a few days?", Shiro asked.
Mornil looked at him and then said, "Hmm, I am not sure. There would be your posters in that town as well, so I can't recommend which would be the safest place…"
"But I do think that if you continue to travel, then it would be better…"
"…", Mornil paused after that as his conscience hurt him.
'How could I say this to a little child like him…?'
'He is a bit mature for his age, so I keep forgetting his real age. He is merely 8, is it the right thing to chase him away instead of helping him…?', Mornil scratched his head, unable to think straight.
"Okay, uncle…", Shiro said as he drank the last drop of soup. He didn't pursue the matter any further.
"You can add more soup if you want. I'll see what I can cook for you…", Mornil said as he walked back to the kitchen. He wanted to make sure Shiro had enough to eat before he set off tomorrow.
'I can at least do this much for him…', he thought as he stood up.
"Are you not going to drink anymore, uncle?", Shiro asked as he scooped more soup for himself.
"Don't worry about me. I can boil the soup again. Just drink as much as you want!", Mornil said as he entered the kitchen.
"Alright…", Shiro mumbled, thinking of this as an opportunity to gain more stat points.
He drank soup from the entire pot, only after which, his stat points increased by 1 again.
[Stat Points: 02]
Well, he then went to bed, after having a proper dinner prepared by Mornil which was mostly fish, and some salad. He was a bit tired and wanted to sleep, hence he didn't test the stat points yet.
"Sigh, tonight is the last night I spend here…", he said as he fell asleep.

Odditorium
Creativity is power. Creation is power. Arax is empty, he has no personal attribute and his parents have left him out in the dark. By day he suffers through a mid-level university trying to convert people into Masters but it's given him no luck, nothing will stick. His only momentary joy is the games of Harshings that he plays every night with the members of the Armament Club, ten of the highest level Harshings players of all-time, Arax is the only one under three-hundred years old. Anyways, after a harsh game of Harshings (pun intended) one of the members of the club contacts him with a solution to his emptiness problem, Mimir's Well. Anyways, this story is about God's and creativity and bonkers off the wall (expletive) and rituals and God's and sex jokes. I probably got inspired by like all of the mythos stories that have been popping up on here. It's in a VERY rough form because I've just been getting back into writing. I've written like fifty thousand words already so I guess have fun.

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me. They all breath, grow and influence their surroundings in their own right.Join Teo, a bright young boy with a gift for Arcane Magic, through his journey to tackle the Elements, master his Craft and climb to the very peak of magic itself.Who will he meet, friends or foes? Trusted companions or bitter rivals? Will he be able to find his answer and get to the real meaning of magic, all while wrestling with the complex laws of nature and his own unripe emotions? There is only one way to find out.The story will start with a few chapters of introductions in volume 1 to establish the characteristics and the nature of the world the characters live in. After that, it will probably become a lot more fast-paced and incorporate real story progression. My goal is to fuse the common magic advancement system in a weak-to-strong fashion, together with elements of naturalism, magic combat action and little bits and pieces of science, wherever necessary, to form a bright and interesting story about a boy chasing his dreams about magic.
