《My Pirate System》Chapter 25: Back From Training Space

Shiro then punched again, but the man shook his head again. He repeated about ten to a hundred times, finally after which, the head bent down as if the man was nodding. Then, the man added in a kick after the punch. Shiro copied the man.
The process continued with the man adding more steps into the previous step and Shiro copying the man until Shiro couldn't take it anymore. It had been a few hours since Shiro started training. Since it was his first time, he got tired very easily unlike the man who stood unfazed.
Also, with the different techniques and without any bodybuilding, the use of different muscles made it hard for him. He was still young, and almost had no muscle mass, which was further inhibiting him from making the right moves efficiently.
[Would you like to restore your stamina by resting?]
Once again, Shiro clicked 'Yes' and he was teleported to the hospital bed again. He passed out almost immediately after that, basically falling asleep.
The next day, Shiro continued to train. The training lasted for nearly a month before Shiro could finally muster the basics of Self Defense. In fact, it was no longer self-defense, he ended up learning the techniques to fight and attack too.
On the final day, Shiro could finally be on par with the 3D hologram. He was no longer dodging attacks, rather, he was giving his fair share of attacks to the man. Of course, he was able to take the impacts on his body as if it was nothing!
After everything was done, the 3D hologram of the man, nodded his head, and after a thumbs up, vanished. It was replaced with a system notification instead.

Shiro jumped in excitement.
"Yes! I did it!"
He was exhilarated that he managed to finish all the Tutorial Missions.
During this one month, he had a lot of emotions to deal with. He even took a look at the system many times and tried to understand it. Although he was still trying to complete the tutorial, he knew that the so called system, was trying to help him.
Although he did not know how the system appeared, and why it appeared in front of him, but he knew one thing for sure, he could now finally get powers to avenge his mom.
[Congratulations, you have completed the Tutorial Mission.]
[Rewards: 200 Gold Coins]
[Privileges Unlocked: inventory, new missions, system commands, warnings, analysis, etc.]
[Would you like to claim them immediately?]
[Claim Now/ Skip Rewards/ Claim Later ]
Shiro had no clue what any of those mean, but he pressed on the 'Claim Now' button nevertheless. He would probably figure out what they were used for after this.
Though, it was surely interesting to see the options 'Skip Rewards' and 'Claim Later'. Although he understood their meaning, he didn't understand the point of their existence.
Regardless, after that, the scenery changed and he was back at his mother's grave. Instead of the darkness that engulfed him the first time he disappeared, the sun was brightly shining at him. Shiro had to blink his eyes a few times to believe that he was back.
'I've been training for so long. About 40 days or was it 50?', Shiro asked as he stood up and dusted his clothes, only to find the system answering his question.
[Answer: It took 50 days in Training Space to complete the tutorial.]

'Wow…'
'Cool, I can interact with it now, it never usually answered my questions earlier, but I think now it does…'
'Probably because of the privilege, right?', he asked yet again.
[Answer: Affirmative.]
He smirked and dusted his clothes a bit more.
'I wonder if uncle Mornil would have tried searching for me, it's been 50 days after all…'
After he paid his respects to his mom, he walked to Mornil's house.
While walking there, Shiro was reminiscing about everything that had happened during 50 days. Although he had been training for so long, he did not see a change in his muscles. It made him question whether all of that was just a dream, for a moment.
'Hmm, though, I still do remember the techniques…'
'But there were no changes in my mass or proportions…', as he said this, he kicked his foot in the air and then punched with his left hand.
A blast of wind was released from his leg, followed by another blast of wind from his punch.
'Yea, it definitely couldn't have been a dream, or hallucination, after all, the system is present here and this strength with this small body, I don't think it is normal…', Shiro compared himself with other poor kids, with whom he used to play.
Shiro looked at his arms yet again. They were a bit firmer, but that's about it. Anyway, there was a little change at least!
Otherwise, he would have been wasting 50 days of his life without a reason.
When he reached Mornil's house, he saw Mornil sitting at the front entrance.
Mornil's face was very pale. In fact, if you compared his face with a piece of paper, you would see that his face was much paler than the paper.
There were evident dark circles below his eyes, indicating the lack of sleep. Shiro grew anxious as he walked towards Mornil.
"Uncle, what's the matter?", Shiro asked in a worried tone, trying to act normal.
"I can't find Loyola's son…", Mornil mumbled incoherently. He looked half-dead. Perhaps the lack of sleep was taking a toll on him.
"What? Can you repeat that?", Shiro asked as he moved closer to Mornil.
"I said I can't find-"
"-the boy Shi-"
"-RO!?", he raised his voice when he turned his head towards Shiro.
"Oh my goodness…"
"Shiro where have you been?!", he raised his voice.
"Uh, that-", Shiro didn't know how to explain about the system and his disappearance of 50 days!
He was about to answer when Mornil continued, "Do you know how much you troubled me for 5 days!? Just where did you run off to!?"
"Heh? 5 days?", Shiro asked, in awe.

Omnicrafter (A Crafting Adventure LitRPG)
Countless twenty-something-year-olds around the world wish every day for a chance to go back in time to start practicing their passions sooner in life. Tabitha is one such woman. With all of her youth spent playing online games where crafting was as simple as gathering materials and clicking a "craft" button to put them together, she never gained any actual experience in making things. Every attempt to create something in the real world is met with disaster. Her heart yearns for being the master crafter of her virtual youth, but she's the type who burns water when trying to cook. That changes when she wakes up and finds herself in a game-like fantasy world where crafting comes as naturally to her as breathing. She still has to put in the hard work of crafting herself, but the system helps her out to make what was once impossible for her possible. She gets all the fun of making things and flexing her creative spirit while not needing any years of training nor study to build her skill up! While she might not have any idea how she got to this strange world, she does know that she's not going to waste her chance and is going to make the most out of this new opportunity to craft everything! An "Omnicrafter" was what they called people in the MMORPGs she played who maxed out every single crafting class, and that is exactly what Tabitha plans on doing with her new life! The crafting side of this series is heavily inspired by games like the Atelier series and the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV (which has a free trial, you know!)*. If there's a problem, it can be solved by crafting. Also, in case the title and synopsis didn't make it obvious enough, this series is going to focus on crafting all the things. Wooden spears and protective cuirasses? You got it! Healing tonics and farming equipment? Sure! Elaborate cupcakes and customizable fantasy golems? Darn straight! Weapons with a broken amount of different buffs applied to them due to the crafting process and materials used? You know it! The most amazing fishing rod to ever exist? Well, obviously. Fishing is the true endgame only after crafting, after all! So, if you like alchemy, blacksmithing, carpentry, cooking, leatherworking, tailoring, engineering, rune forging, magical enchanting, or basically any other type of crafting found in RPGs, come check the story out! An omnicrafter doesn't just focus on one specific type of crafting. A true omnicrafter is the best at all types of crafting! *This is a meme, I'm not sponsored by FFXIV, please don't hate me. World Story: Biographies of Extraordinary People
Important note: I’d like to thank Dr. Buller for their advice on dialogue by their critical review. And I’m on a one-month break to post the first revised chapters on Scribble Hub. Please stay tuned! Even in faraway worlds, every folk had a story, and monsters came in numerous shapes and sizes. However, heroes never existed in this otherworld. Even the most idealistic understood this deep within. But as they abandoned their humanity at times, they quickly regained it. It was not that they became human again. They always were. So what happened when the monster devoid of humanity appeared? Well, the “heroes” sought to slay it at all costs either way, lest it would be the end of their stories. A portal/isekai fantasy that I wanted to deconstruct some elements within. Expect a whole ton of references and dialogue because I’ll deliberately write it more like a light novel. The last thing to consider is that Japanese names in my novel will come with kanji/hiragana characters within parentheses. The same goes for any other derived from non-Latin writing systems. It’s because none of the names I write will be accidental or random. They’ll all have meaning. New chapters Monday to Thursday at 11:00 PM (GMT+8), though sometimes I can’t. Credit for the cover art goes to HWPerfidy. She’s a freelance artist on this site, and I’d love anyone who shows her support.
