"What the heck are those!?", a man with a complete brown dress and a red cap on his head which had a skull-like design shouted at the top of his voice.

He didn't have any significant figures other than the big tummy of his. However, he seemed to be a pirate which was evident from the ship and what the crew was calling him as.

"What the heck is wrong with his powers!?", his hair was black and so was his complexion.

His height was barely average but despite that, he was supposedly the captain of the crew.

"Captain..."

"That's..."

A crew member walked closer to the captain. He too had black hair however he was definitely taller than the so-called captain.

"What is it?", he asked quite arrogantly.

"I guess we have messed with the wrong guy...", the man was sweating profusely.

His heart was already beating fast and now that he was sure of something, he couldn't help but tell about this to the captain.

Of course, the seawater was splashing all over their faces, but he wasn't drenched because of that. It was the cold sweat in which he had bathed completely.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Are you underestimating me?", the captain asked.

"No, but..."

"What but?"

"You think that I can't handle a puny pirate as that boy?"

"Did you already forget that I have received the Sea God's powers?"

"...", the other person didn't open his mouth. He probably couldn't find the right words to say.

"I am one of the chosen ones after all!"

"Why should I look at whom I'm messing with?", he was quite arrogant indeed.

He was speaking whatever came into his mind. Despite the fact that there were three gigantic hurricanes right in front of him which were touching the sky, he was boasting about himself to his own crewmate.

The person couldn't bear it anymore and ended up shouting.

"Just shut up!"

"...", and the captain did exactly as he said while being startled.

Just by seeing him raise his voice, he was forced to shut his mouth.

"I know it very well that you are one of the Chosen ones!"

"I know that you can borrow the powers of the Sea God!"

"But how much of an idiot can you be...?", the person asked.

"...", the captain failed to understand why his fellow member was so worked up.

Indeed, in front of him, three hurricanes had been aroused which was by no means a small thing.

If they had existed from the get-go, then one could just ignore them, but in reality, they just rose right now in front of them and that too was done by the very person who was a pirate and was on the other ship right in front of them.

"You idiotic captain!"

"..."

"That symbol on the flag...a skull inside a weird box..."

"That red hair and shining golden eyes that can instill fear in anyone with just a glance..."

"This power to create hurricanes in a matter of seconds..."

"..."

"Captain..."

"The Sea God has chosen you to use his powers up to some extent, but the one standing in front of you is none other than the person who defeated the Sea God himself!", the person shouted.

"Huh...?"

"What did you say?"

"…"

"The-"

"The one who defeated the Sea God?"

"Wait…"

"Then, he is-"

He turned his gazes back towards the space between the hurricanes only to find the boy with red hair and golden shining eyes looking back at him.

"He is..."

"The Sea Hero?", while saying this he lost all his strength and ended up falling on his knees.

"Then are you telling me that..."

"He is..."

"A God Killer?"

On a Black day, during a huge storm, a ship wrecks. It was not just one ship, in fact, all the ships that were traveling in a particular region named as 'Teraldis', were wrecked and none of the people survived.

In fact, none of their bodies were found. It was indeed a Black day when the sky, the sea, and the earth, were roaring continuously. Everyone was scared since this had never happened before.

This disaster was called the Great Disaster of Teraldis based on the name of the place. However, this so-called disaster paved way for humanity to unlock their limits which had been placed by the Gods!

Indeed, that was possible now because the very Gods descended to the Earth, however, they hid themselves in unknown land while giving out a prophecy that was long lost.

After many trials, it was soon recovered and many came to know about it, but none of them were able to understand what it meant exactly.

'Eternal Flames, Pureness, Unpredictability, Strength, Wisdom, Luck, Swiftness, and Trust will give you what you desire.' - that was the prophecy that was given but no matter who it was, no one could understand it completely.

Many did take different meanings for that, but none knew what it exactly meant.

But they knew one thing for sure, and that was the fact that Gods had descended and were now residing on an island and they had given a task to come and find them.

Many years passed but no one could find the Gods. They would die even before starting their journey. Some would be lucky enough to travel at least 1/10th the distance, but they would die soon after. Due to this, the Gods were forced to give special powers to a few people who were called the Chosen ones.

Some Gods did get bored and wander off to other places, but many of them stayed there while waiting for the one great human to reach them after passing their trials.

Though no one knows who that person will be, the great change in nature caused many humans to run towards the treasure which the Gods possessed. Since people became greedy enough, they wanted everything that the Gods had. Of course, they were called Greedy Ones or bandits, but they rebranded themselves as pirates!

Now the world has countless Pirates and the ones who are aiming for the treasure are many, but no one knows how many would succeed however the process would continue until someone finally reaches the said island or the said unknown place!
