Chapter 9: Surpassing All Others

My 5th Earth Birthday on Akafwhuwa

It’s hard to believe i’ve been here for 5 years already. I feel like it was just yesterday when I was first being accepted into the village.

As of my 5th earth birthday on Akafwhuwa, I have graduated from the Magic Academy 3 months before this. And just 2 weeks ago, I got married to Gowa. I’m part of the royal family now.

I really do want to emphasize though, I love Gowa for Gowa. Not because of my job. Not because she’s part of the royal family. But because I love Gowa.

As of now, Gowa is going to go to the Magic Academy in 2 months. She could have gone last year, but due to her father’s pushing, she has decided to focus on studying for just one more year. Although, Gowa didn’t really see it that way. She saw it as more of a way to spend more time with me.

Anyways, I have been waiting for this date. I decided a little while ago that today would be the day I would truly start. Today would be the day I would start the unification of the world, and the artificial head start to the universe.

Today, I wanted to try enchanting a bit. If I can enchant items, then I can do anything.

I’ll start with a small robe.

I pulled out a small red robe used for magic purposes.

I thought it would be nice to start out small, and give it a nice +1000 defence. That will give it the same amount of defence as the most powerful armor currently in this world.

Enchanting in this world generally has 3 stats, Defence, Magical Enhancement, and Physical Enhancement. To enchant an item, you must give each of these stats “Points” Which you can give to an item through general magic power level. For example, if your magic power level is 20, then you can put 20 points onto an item. You have to then spread these points to each stat.

That’s the basics of enchanting. The problem is, this isn’t basic enchanting.

My magic power level is much higher than that, in fact, no magic measurer can measure how much magic I have.

Because of this, I can simply put as many magic points as I want onto an item, meaning I can increase any of the stats as much as I want.

This makes for a broken system.

I did the first enchantment on a robe, but what happens if I take a gun I made?

Well, you end up with an entirely different set of stats, Speed, Power, and Zone, Zone being an ability you can use with an enchanted weapon. With the gun I made, it seems to be a flurry of bullets.

Anyways, if I put a ton of points into Speed, then I get what is practically a machine gun. A small pistol that shoots up to 70 bullets per second. Much more powerful than what currently exists in this world. Using a mix of technology from my world, I know that I can at least attract enough attention to partner with another country.

I mean, I’m also a part of the royal family now, so that also helps.

If I use enough persuasion, then I can become the next in line for king.

While I did marry into the royal family, I’m not currently first in line for the throne. That goes to Gowa’s older brother. He is the only other male currently in the royal family.

The royal family line in this world works like this;

The oldest child is always in line for the throne, but if the oldest child is female, then a younger boy would be in line for the throne.

While Gowa’s older brother is not the oldest child, he is the oldest male. I would now be next in line for the throne, however Gowa’s older brother is older than me, so I am behind him.

There is one loophole though.

If I were to say, persuade Gowa’s older brother to, I don’t know, surrender the throne, then I would be the next in line.

That’s all I need.

Time to get to work.

The next day, I woke up and went straight to work. I worked on creating a spell.

This is something else I will need, the ability to create my own spells. I will need to be able to create and tune spells to my liking.

I started with a simple fire bolt. What I am going to try to do is tune the fire bolt to be more like a lightning strike, and less like a ball.

This is easier than you might think.

Once again, this requires magic power. Everything in this world requires magic power.

What I need to do is focus my magic power on my brain, take my thoughts, and amplify them to the point where they become real.

Keep in mind, this isn’t some way to create everything, this only does work for magic. This is mostly how young students are taught to make their first fire bolt.

This is no fire bolt, this is something much more than that.

“Release, Fire Strike!” Before I had even tried the spell, I had shortened it to two words, yet still, I destroyed the target thoroughly.

Well, that worked. I guess I should work on another spell, this time I’m going to work on it from scratch.

“Release, Crush!” This spell uses my magic energy to bring pieces of matter up, and close in on the target, giving it no room to escape, then exploding on the inside.

This, once again, left the target in complete disarray.

“Iro! You haven’t eaten yet! Come have lunch with me!” Gowa called down to me,

“Yeah! No problem!” I responded.

Of course, I still needed to eat food. Currently, I don’t think I’m quite good enough to create a spell to stop the need for food.
