Situ Xi saw Ancestor has arrived and he quickly greeted him,

"Great Ancestor, I apologize for disturbing your cultivation," he knew Ancestor did not care for worldly matter before so he explained, "These old things are family head of ruling family's in BlackCloud City. Bald one is leader of Jiang Family of west, this muscle brain with sword leads Kai Family," then he gestured towards back pointing,

"The one at back; Yes, that feminine one with bow is Cheng family's Master. And leading these bastards is this Hai family old thing Hai Yaozu; 7th generation Family head." Then he faced great ancestor and bowed, "Great Ancestor, they are here to bask in your glorious presence."

Listening to their introduction, Hai Yaozu's veins bulged, he was on verge of flipping out. Others behind him were no better than him; somehow Cheng Weizhe - Cheng family head was still calm. Yaozu was very wary of that cunning sneaky guy.

But he controlled himself; today this Situ Xi was full of himself unlike before now that he got backing. But Yaozu is on important mission from his Ancestor Hai Delu, they have to probe the so called Great Ancestor of Situ Family.

Without actually knowing the condition of this Great Ancestor of Situ family they cannot proceed forward with their plan. So he bowed to Ancestor Situ,

"Great Senior, this humble one is Hai Yaozu, current Family Head of Hai family." Then he pointed at others and said, "The others are Cheng Weizhe – Cheng Family Head, Kai Chao – Kai Family Head, Jiang Honghui – Jiang Family Head, today we are here to congratulate you on your recovery."

Lan observed these guys and come with same description as Situ Xi. He was somewhat impressed with the accuracy of the description, it fits them so well.

When he heard Hai family head, he was sure that these guys were very sneaky bastards, someone who can keep calm in front of such insults is worthy of leading family. They must have some other plan.

But as his cultivation of way higher than these nubs he did not care about their plan, now that he had whole crowd watching him, he just decided to crash the party and give them a great show. He gazed at Hai Yaozu and said with flat tone while shaking his head,

"You are not worthy! You are not worthy of congratulating me kid. Even your ancestor used to shit his pants if he accidently saw me and you are here causing commotion at my house. " He added strong snort, "Humph, you got guts. Scram now before I decide to keep you here forever."

Lan's voice was not loud but was enough to be heard by everyone. When they heard him, the Situ family crowd buzzed. They were excited that their Ancestor just directly insulted even Ancestors of Hai Family. Even with all that they just muttered among themselves did not speak out loud, they knew that they were not worthy of speaking in this high level match.

Listening to the bustling crowd Hai Yaozu could not control anymore, he did not expect this Ancestor Situ to not even listen to him and just insult even his Ancestor, now when it reached this stage he had to proceed with his plan, looking at the carefree bony figure, he pulled out his sword and shouted with anger,

"Old skeleton, let me see if you are capable of backing your words." With that he ran towards Lan. When he shouted others behind him also took out their respective weapons and followed him.

Today they planned to kill this fake ancestor once and for all. According to them, Situ Xi had somehow faked having powerful ancestor just to stop demise of Situ Family, otherwise why this Great Ancestor did not came out when the Situ Family was suffering for last three years? They planned to put rest to the rumor once and for all.

Lan did not expect the situation to escalate so quickly, he planned to give few more awe inspiring speeches, but faced with sudden assault he was disappointed. These guys are attacking him with killing intent so he did not plan to go easy on them. He waited for them to attack him before responding, he had to pose as powerful figure, he could not be scared with just small ambush, can he?

After coming in striking range Hai Yaozu shouted and struck,

"Tri-wind Sword Strike"

His sword made three illusionary winds and disappeared, three winds approached Lan targeting his vitals. Lan did not flinch, the sword winds were difficult to defend against but swords winds were cluster of Qi made by opponent, so he decided to take out the source.

Now that the opponent shouted his technique name loudly so he had to reply in same fashion, after all one cannot go against social norms, his fist moved like ghost and struck Hai Yaozu's face,

"Bloody Strike!"

Hai Yaozu fell back with river of blood flowing out from his nose. Lan's fist were dirtied by the blood but he did not care he proceeded to strike down others with his Bloody Strike. Only the one with bow was left behind as he did not attack.

Lan thought the people will back out and kneel after one strike but he was surprised when they quickly got back on their feet and ran towards him in group while shouting their skills,

"Tri-wind Sword Strike !"

"Snake Ghost Spear !"

"Thousand Pound Sword !"

Lan decided to just reply with Bloody Strike again until they lose their consciousness due to blood loss. Best way is to make them feel hopeless. He turned to Rin who had already retreat at the start of fight and said,

"You must tolerate weak people, but before that you have to make them understand that they are weak."
