《Omnipotent's Ascension》Battling a Life Sucking Ant 2
Advertisement
At the very spot where the body of the life sucking ant should have been, there were multiple wriggling creatures tying themselves together.
"SKKKRIIICH"
Another loud screech echoed throughout the area.
"Injured guy. We have to leave! Now!"
"We can't. At this point it's better to stay and fight. There's no way we can run from an evolved ant. And my name isn't injured guy, it's Cravisna"
Lenin glanced at Cravisna.
"Does that even matter now? We just tried to kill each other."
"We have no choice. We have to fight together"
Cravisna hopped to Lenin's side as he said this.
"Okay. What do we do now? You are the more experienced one"
At this point a huge energy fluctuation accompanied by a fierce wind begun to swirl around. Lenin and Cravisna's attention turned towards the repairing monster. The fierce wind was pushing against them.
"I'm still heavily injured. I won't be much use in a close combat fight. You attack and I'll support you with my magic. Do as much damage as you can!"
"Can't we just destroy it now? While it's still repairing?"
"It's impossible. While it's repairing it's body, it's monster core is completely unstable. If we destroy it now, everything within 50km would be destroyed."
"Damn. So we can only watch it grow stronger?" Lenin gritted his teeth as he said this.
"SKRRRIIICH!"
At this moment, another loud screech was released. But this one was different. This one contained monstrous power. Lenin's flame blade begun to flicker and reduce in his hand.
"Hah. It seems your body can't hold on any longer" Cravisna sighed.
Lenin ignored him and focused his mind. He needed to calm down.
Crash! Boom!
An explosion rang out and sent dust flailing every where. Lenin used his left hand to cover his eyes. When the dust cleared, the life sucking ant stood in front of them.
The monster was as tall as a tree. It's appearance had changed from an ant to look more like a praying mantis. It's hide seemed to have gotten tougher.
"SKRRRIIHHHH!"
The life sucking ant which was meters away from Lenin and Cravisna begun to race toward it.
Cravisna turned towards Lenin.

"When I give the signal you jump!"
"What? Jump? Why?"
"Just do it!" Cravisna shouted.
Lenin hesitated a bit. He didn't trust Cravisna, mainly because they had tried to kill each other. He gritted his teeth and then crouched down.
The life sucking ant charged forward with power and strength, ready to crush it's prey. With every tick of a second, it got closer.
"Cravisna! It's getting closer"
"Not yet!"
The ant kept charging. As it neared, it lifted it's claws, ready to slash everything in it's path.
"Now?"
"Not yet!"
"What? It's already this close. We're going to die at this rate"
"I said, NOT YET!"
Lenin clenched his flaming sword in anticipation. When the ant was only a few feet away ready to crush them, Lenin turned towards Cravisna.
"Cravisna!"
"NOW"
God force burst out of Lenin. He jumped in the air, without know what would come next. As Lenin was descending, a yellow shield appeared below him. Seeing this, Lenin understood Cravisna's intentions.
He landed on the shield, and used it to further push himself into the air. Cravisna then summoned another magic circle.
"Space magic. Space Distortion!"
Purple magic surrounded all of Lenin's body, and then he disappeared. At this point, the claws of the ant came down on Cravisna.
"Light magic. Chains of restriction!"
Gold chains popped out of mid air and launched towards the ant. The ant broke several of the chains and tried to resist, but the chains were too many.
"SKKKRIIICH!"
The ant was handicapped as the chains tied it.
"Hmph. Did you think it would be that easy to destroy these chains? These are 3rd circle magic spells, equivalent to rare grade skills"
Cravisna said with a smirk.
"SKRRRIIHHHH!"
Energy force exploded as the chains begun to crack.
BOOM! The ant was free. It reared its claws and slashed towards Cravisna.
"Shit"
Cravisna stretched out his hands.
"Shield construction! Energy shield! Unbreakable Armor!"
Countless shields appeared around Cravisna as he braced himself for impact.
BOOM!
The friction between the claw and the shield released a huge force that swept throughout the forest.
'Tch! Where's that boy?! How long is it going to take him?'

Cravisna's mind raced as his shield begun to crack.
Crack!
One shield shattered.
Crack!
Another one cracked.
The last shield begun to crack.
"Array of Arrows!"
A melodious voice rung out.
A pink barrage of arrows came from the sky. It crashed into the ant and pushed it back.
"Skrriiiii!"
Stunned, Cravisna turned his head to look in the direction of the arrows. A brunette elf stood on a tree trunk. Her hair flailing beautifully in the wind.
"Flame Devouring Palm!"
Boom!
The ant was pushed back again. A youth jumped back and landed infront of Cravisna. The youth was Brian!
"Whow! You're really beat up. Good thing we were near by" Brian said to Cravisna.
"Fools! Run now. This isn't your fight"
"We can't, even if we wanted to. We're looking for our friend"
Brian turned to the ant.
"Now! How do we deal with that thing" Brian lifted his right hand up. His hand was broken. "It's hide is really tough"
"We don't deal with anything. We just have to stall for time"
"Huh? Why?"
"I have a...... partner of sorts. I don't have enough fire power to kill that thing right now, and from what I can tell, neither do you guys. But there's someone here who does" Cravisna narrowed his eyes as he said this. "But he's keeping too long"
"Skrrri!"
"It's coming. You, Boy! Counter from the sides. Elf, you continue firing arrows to distract it"
Aina nodded and pulled her bow back.
The three begun to hit the ant from all sides. There was a stale mate between the opponents. This continued for a while. Well, until they begun to tire out and run out of qi and Mana.
"Hah hah.. hah... I'm... Out... Of energy" Cravisna said as he collapsed on the ground.
"Hah... Hah... Me too"
Brian said.
"SKKKRIIICH"
As if the ant could sense their weakness, it prepared its final attack.
"Tch. Is this how it's going to end?"
Aina said.
At that moment, god force exploded. The pressure it released suppressed everything in the vicinity. Majesty radiated from the aura.
A figure with immense speed appeared at the side of the ant. Floating in the air, he swung a flaming sword.
Swoosh! BOOM!
A large flaming sword. Bigger than a fully grown human, hit the side of the ant.
"Hraaaah!"
Putting all his god force into the attack, Lenin tried to break it's hide.
"Wait... Is that Lenin? How is he using that? Is that magic?" Brian asked. His eyes were wide as he looked at the scene. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Aina watched the scene from the tree trunk with her mouth hanging open. She was stunned. Was this truly Lenin?
Crack!
The hide of the ant begun to crack.
"SKKKRIIICH"
It reared it's claws and tried to attack Lenin.
BOOM!
"Ugh" Cravisna spat out blood.
He created a shield to protect Lenin before the claws could land on him.
Crack!
The flame sword had almost broken through. Then...... The sword begun to quench. The sword begun to slowly disintegrate as Lenin paled. His power wasn't enough.
He saw Brian and Aina join the fight as he prepared his attack in the warped dimension. He had come here to stop the ant from hurting Brian and Aina, but instead had involved them.
Was he really not strong enough?
"Fool! What are you doing? Hurry it up"
Lenin turned his head to look at the direction of the sound. Aina was forwning. Lenin smiled. What was he thinking. This wasn't a movie where he needed others to encourage him.
He needed NO ONE to remind him of his power.
"Grrraaah!"
The flame sword burst with power. It's size grew 10 times it's original size. Lenin's eyes glinted gold. His physique begun to change.
Pop!
A 'pop' sound came out of Lenin. The bottle neck was broken. His god force then changed into qi, and begun to increase. His boundless qi kept on pouring out and increasing. When it reached a certain point.... BOOM!
Nascent Soul Realm achieved!
Even though his god force was cloaked as qi, it was still god force.
Slosh!
Lenin's blade passed through the waist of the ant, like cutting through butter.
BOOM!
The body of the ant landed and begun to disintegrate.
Lenin landed on the ground and turned to the others.
"Yo" he said.
