After the tomyboy had subjugated us she ran off to take care of something which none of us knew about.Leaving us to sit in awkward silence.I felt a tension in the air but i was
too busy swimming in my thoughts to care.
Am i really going to let this happen,the prideful Black Dagger conquered by a single brat and a girl at that.Why is it that i don't feel bothered this,didn't i bring this group
out of the mud to where we are now.Where the hell is my bandit pride?!?!?...if fear was the real reason as to why we didn't put up much of a fight then we were never cut out
to be bandits in the first place.Its up to me to lead this clueless bunch,Yet here i sit on my ass silent as a mouse.Heh,how pathetic.
Maybe this is for the best.Leading a group of weird lads like this was too much of a heavy load for a normal person like me,Its not like i lead them to the best life either haha
i practically made them monsters,fiends,damned criminals.I lead these kids to a path of slaughter and all sorts of evil.If someone is to blame then its definitlely me.

"But why would would Ranthel take up the Black Dagger Subjugation quest,Isn't it only A rank?"

I swear i gently opened this door what the hell...Tch,lets just get this over with.That should be where i register,this place dosen't look too different from the guild i last saw in Vazum other than its on a smaller scale,then again this is a minor HUMAN city.Its only to be expected that human's can't compare with the great demons hmph how pathetic.

Ah an identification device,Nyarlathotep told me about this,according to her this gives basic information on the status of person that touches it,Usually Class,Name,Race and Age.Luckily Nyarlathotep disguised my status in advance as she knew something like this would happen eventually as this is a commonly used device.

As she saw my race an instance of shock flashed through her eyes before quickly reverting to her blank stare,however i could feel her new found reverence towards me which i didn't pay much attention to as i found it pointless.

"Thank you" now i best return to those insects before they decide to run away hoping to escape from me as any pathetic human would.However using those maggots as they are now won't do me any good,They're still too weak to be of any use.Their humanity will only be a hindrace to my future plans.Considering they're bandits and already seen as outcasts by their fellow race and practically exiled from their society they shouldn't be too reluctant to the idea of switching sides,hahahahahaha!

Synopsis It's the year 2052 and the release of the new next-generation full-dive VRMMO game called The Depths of Magic is hitting the world by storm. The game's technology will surpass all other games before it and shock the masses. Hector who goes by the name Locke inside the game is an experienced player of the genre. He is looking to continue his goal of enjoying gaming as well as the competition that goes along with competing for the top ranking spots. Novel Summary The Depths of Magic is a LitRPG novel focused on a Fantasy VRMMO setting. This is not a harem novel. In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore.
