《B.L.A.N.K- The search for the meta》Emperors new groove

20 minutes later...
After much persuasion I had convinced Olaf that my plan would work. We discussed in length the details, and finished our preparations.
I had been forced to look at this dungeon in a different light after meeting Archanos. If what he said was true then in the future I made this dungeon, so I began to think differently about how to approach it.
The chaos elemental had been the deciding factor for my decision.
I had asked myself, can you predict chaos?
Realistically you can't, but it might be possible to somewhat control chaos.
We would do so by reducing the number of targets down to one.
It was my prediction that the shadow elemental could heal with its dark miasma and the death elemental could probably use some kind of life drain or raise dead spell that would drag things out. Add on the chaos elemental and you have an annoying group to fight, one that requires a fluctuating strategy.
Archanos knew that the prince would be with us at this point, so I chose to fully trust my gut and utilize the power of the emperor!
"Good luck! God-Speed! Remember dont step on the circular tile in the middle of the big room! " I yelled out to Olaf as he sprinted down the corridor. His form was a blur from Tides recently cast defensive illusion spell.
Prince Olaf ran past the three elementals, moving incredibly quickly. I had let him borrow my Silver leaf trinket for a short while, gifting him with 200% speed.
Tide and I slowly walked forward from a distance, observing while under the effects of active camoflague.
The Elementals followed him down the hall. The death elemental attacked with his scythe but Olaf was too fast. The Chaos elemental teleported five feet forward and I saw the information appear in my head of its ability as it drove its blades into Olafs unprocted back.

The emperors gem instantly activated and his body became momentarily insubstantial.
-Immune-
The chaos elementals blades harmlessly passed through him as though he was a ghost.
Olaf quickly diasapearred down the corridor and off into the distance. His broadsword glowed with light magic and led the way as he ran past group after group. Everytime an attack would hit him his gem would activate and render it useless.
Tide and I jogged down the corridor behind him, anxious to see how this would play out.
We followed the corridor until it opened up into the large room.
The Prince had ran in a large circle and gathered all of the elementals into one large group. He began to activate a series of scrolls, one after another.
Lightstorm!
Orderstorm!
Lifestorm!
Three balls of light shot out in front of him and exploded into a gigantic storm of swirling colors. The multiple types of light energy seemed to combine as they spun like a mad vortex and ripped apart the elementals.
-2000(🔱order)
-2000(🍃nature/life)
-2000(💡light)
-2000(🔱)
-2000(🍃)
-2000(💡)
The damage was overkill, after less than two seconds of the swirling light storm, all of the elementals were dead, disintegrating into nothingness.
Our ears were filled with the sound of countless system notifications.
Ding! You have slain Level 10 shadow elemental! Gained 600 experience!
Ding! You have slain Level 12 Death Elemental! Gained 1200 experience!
Ding! You have slain Level 13 Chaos Elemental! Gained 1500 experience!

The light storm continued for the remaining five seconds then dissipated, leaving the room quiet and still with only tiny dark remnants left behind on the floor.

"Haha! Well Done Olaf! Told you it would work! ", I said as I walked into the room.
" Yeah good job! ", Tide agreed as he followed me.
" Thanks guys. It just seemed a little to....easy." Olaf said frowning.
I nodded,"I know it seems.."
My words were cut off as a 13 foot tall Chaos Elemental appeared behind Olaf, materializing like a ghost.
Level 15[Chaos Lord][Boss][Elite]-(40,000hp)
A dark shadow wrapped in dark metal armor, wearing a twin horned helm with glowing red eyes and massive blades instead of hands.
The Chaos Lord stabbed its blades into Olaf, causing his amulet to activate, nullifying the attack.
"Olaf! It's a boss! Watch out! ", I yelled as I jumped into action.
I pulled out a scroll and activated it.
Spear of Order! -
-7500(🔱)(32500/40000hp)(81%)
A spear made of a silvery light slammed into the Chaos Lord.
Olaf turned and faced his enemy, swinging his broadsword at the elemental.
Hit!

Tide used a scroll as well.
Spear of Order!
Miss!
The silver spear hit air as the Chaos Lord disappeared and re-appeared behind tide with its blades held high.
I tried to yell out to him but it was already to late. The Chaos lord brought the blades down in a powerful sneak attack.
Critical Hit!
-3200 damage (0/750hp)
Player Tidulus Maximus has died.
"Shit! Olaf! Keep using the spear spell!"
I yelled to the Prince as I prepared a different scroll.
My mind was a whirl with possibilities. I couldn't dodge the Chaos lords attack any better than the others, it was simply to fast, but maybe with a little luck I could re-direct it.
Spear of Order!
Hit!
-7500(🔱)(23401/40000hp)(58%)
Re-direct!
Moments before the boss used its chaos strike I used the new re-direct scroll, choosing Olaf as the new target.
I crossed my fingers as the spell activated. For a brief second I could feel the boss behind me before he appeared next to Olaf and attacked him.
It worked! I think!
Olaf igorned the bosses attacks and focused on casting as many scrolls as he could. His amulets protection made him immune to anything the boss could try.
Spear of Order!
Hit!
-7500(🔱) (15901/40000)(39%)
I cast redirect every chance I had in order to try and keep him from killing me.

The boss was only a foot away from me with 2% health left, so I quickly equipped my sword and finished it off with a power attack before it could enrage.
Hit!
You have dealt 1400 damage! ( 🔱) (0/40000)(0%)

I pulled out a resurrect scroll and brought Tide back to life.
