"That was awesome! Do my other sword!"
Tide was still dumbstruck, "According to the laws of this universe, changing energy should not be possible. The magic in the sword was pulling a constant effect from the magical realm. The world of magic exists as potential energy, and the runes are able to exact a particular coordinate or location which produces a certain effect. That spell changed the coordinates of the spell to a new location that is fundamentally equal in exact damage value. That would require a level of mathematics that is on the quantum level. "
I nodded, "Sounds complicated. It works though, so do the other sword and let's kill stuff. "
"But.." He began to argue but realized it would do little good and dropped it.
He used another of his scrolls to change the element of my other sword to fire, giving me two flaming blades.
Tide cast blur and then active camouflage, but made me wait a minute. He pulled yet another 4-foot tall clay statue out and inserted his second flame core, bringing another flame golem to life.
"I'll call you Ben, and you Jerry. ", he said, talking to his golems like children.
I laughed at him and charged the elemental. The active camouflage allowed me to get close without alerting it.
Rapid strikes!
Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!
Extremely Effective!(Fire)
You have dealt 3100 damage! (0/3000hp)
Ding!
You have slain Level 5 Wind Elemental!
Gained 300 experience! (43350/60000)
The sword caused smoke to rise from the blade as it went through the transparent form of the elemental. The final sound of its death was a sizzling pop!
I looted the elemental and we each received a wind essence. It seemed the loot would be the same as the first floor, which made me think the layout would be the same. I was wrong.

Up ahead were three wind elementals blocking the corridor, floating side by side.
" Damn that's gonna be tough.." Tide said, "You should let my golems help. They should do good damage against these guys."
"That's a good idea, give me camo and let me hit first though. "
Tide cast active camoflage on me and I approached the three elementals and attacked with rapid strikes.
Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!
Extremely Effective!(Fire🔥)
You have dealt 3123 damage! (0/3000hp)
Ding!
You have slain Level 5 Wind Elemental! Gained 300 experience! (43650/60000)
The remaining two elementals turned to me and began to cast wind-bolt. Tide sent his golems into battle. I waited and watched the elementals draw the rune for wind bolt, which was the same symbol as flame bolt. After fighting so many elementals lately I was very confident with my timing. They finished the spells sending bolts of wind slicing through the air. I rolled forward, and the spells zipped over my head. I activated power attack, and attacked the elemental on my right.
Hit!
Extremely Effective(fire🔥)
You have dealt 1000 damage! (2000/3000hp)
Hit!
Extremely Effective(fire🔥)
You have dealt 450 damage! (1550/3000hp)
The golems reached the elementals and smashed into them with their flaming fists.
Golem(Ben)-Hit!-100🔥(2900/3000hp)
Golem(Jerry)-Hit!-101🔥(1449/3000hp)
The elementals once again began to cast wind bolt. The golems had pulled the aggro of the elementals, becoming the new targets.
My subskills were on cooldown so I could only use basic attacks.
Hit! Hit!
Extremely Effective! (fire🔥)
You have dealt 860 damage! (589/3000hp)
The golems continued to attack the elementals with their flaming fists.
Golem(Ben)-Hit!-101🔥(2799/3000hp)
Golem(Jerry)-Hit!-103🔥(486/3000hp)
The elementals finished their spells. Bolts of wind sliced into the golems, causing deep cuts.
I saw damage numbers pop up over the golems and their health dropped to less than half.

Golem(Ben)(-200 damage)(187/387hp)
Golem(Jerry)(-200 damage)(189/389hp)
They couldn't take another volley like that or they would be toast. "Sorry, Tide it was a good plan but these guys can't dodge like I can." I thought to myself as I put all of my focus into killing my enemies as fast as possible. The elementals began casting again.
Hit! Hit!
Extremely Effective! (fire🔥)
You have dealt 823 damage! (0/3000hp)
Ding!
You have slain Level 5 Wind Elemental!
Gained 300 experience! (43950/60000)
The elemental died with a puff of smoke and the spell rune he was casting disappeared.
The golems turned to the remaining elemental and bashed it while it cast its spell.
Golem(Ben)-Hit!-100🔥(2699/3000hp)
Golem(Jerry)-Hit!-100🔥(2599/3000hp)
My subskills came off cooldown and I sliced the last elemental apart with rapid strikes.
Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!Hit!
Extremely Effective! (Fire🔥)
You have dealt 3001 damage! (0/3000hp)
Ding!
You have slain Level 5 Wind Elemental!
Gained 300 experience! (44250/60000)
The last elemental died with a sizzling
pop and I breathed a sigh of relief. I didn't want the golems to die already!
Tide laughed and said, " See, they were useful! "
"Lets save your golems for emergencies. They can't dodge like me. Now if they were immune to the damahe that would be one thing."
Tides mouth dropped open, "Holy crap! You just gave me an idea! "
He opened his inventory and pulled out a tranmute element scroll and minor soulstone. He pointed the scroll at his golem and said, "Wind!" as he touched it with the stone. The spell activated and hit the golem. It's body began to change, separating and becoming a tiny wind storm.
"Haha! Now it's a wind golem. The perfect tank! ", he laughed.
