In the following few days ,Mike completed all the paper works required for opening a NGO. John temporarily didn’t tell them about Devata realm as he himself was not sure when he would leave .So he busied himself in trying to get an idea for new NGO .

Erika and Tara enjoyed each others company .Erika saw Tara as her late Mom and John’s Mom saw her as her new daughter. They helped the butler in gardening , making dishes and began to talk everything about their lives ,including John’s childhood.

Peter on the other hand resigned his old job and concentrated on infrastructure, hiring new employees and other miscellaneous works of new NGO. He coordinated with Mike and John to come up with right logo , marketing strategies, place of office and other important things.

John after racking his brain non-stop, finally came up with an idea that could help him get more points in less time. He called a meeting with Mike ,Peter and Erika. John knew Erika would be eventually bored with his Mom so he included her in his plans as well.

Erika was little confused on why they were starting a NGO out of the blue . When everyone gathered on a small conference room on the 3rd floor of the building ,she asked directly “John why are you starting a NGO all of a sudden.”

John looked at Peter and Mike in response. He knew this matter would come up eventually and he was not in a position to lie around as every points counted. Peter and Mike nodded in response. They slowly explained the situation in a way Erika could understand.

John silently sat there and nodded whenever Erika looked at him for confirmation. As the time progressed John’s neck became stiff after nodding so much .

“Miss Erika , you don’t need to worry ,he can come back whenever he feels like just like us . As of now you two can only spend say 50-60 years together ,but when you have enough good karma and pass the test of realm gate ,you will live eternal life together. Isn’t it great?”

John really liked how Peter sugar coated things . He secretly gave him thumbs up. Mike on the other hand was a practical guy ,he simply stayed silent if not asked a question.

Erika didn’t have words to explain how she was feeling. She was overwhelmed with lot of information and sat silently to process information.

Peter thought she was depressed and tried to cheer her with a smile “Miss Erika, you may not know ,young master has a fiancé in Devata realm ,which was arranged before John’s master left to other realm. You can be good sisters when you go to Devata realm.”

John who was prepared to give pep talk to Erika tripped from his chair and almost fell. Erika who was still processing information suddenly looked at John with a cold eyes . John felt chills when he looked at her eyes.

John hastily replied “I swear dear , I had no idea. Uncle Peter are you trying to kill me ? Stop making up jokes.”

Mike who was silent till now said in a calm manner “Its true young master .It was a practice started from ancient times. Clan leader has to marry the youngest daughter of a clan elder . It would keep away outsiders and help elders to form a close relationship with the clan leader.”

John wanted to scream ‘Can you please tell a lie ,for fuck sake ! You are literally pushing me out of the cliff.’

Suddenly John’s brain illuminated and all the fog in his mind seemed cleared. “Wait…how old is she exactly?”

Mike answered calmly “We have no idea .Its been so long already when we left the Devata Realm. She will be anyone who is the youngest daughter of 10 elders in the clan.”

John calmly said with a laugh “Erika ,you see there are lot of loopholes here. What if all the daughters of the so called elders are already married .It is even possible that no female was at my age . Why would I marry someone older than me?”

Contrary to John’s expectation, Erika’s eyes became even colder “So ,you will marry someone who is around you age?”

John didn’t feel anything wrong with the question. Peter and Mike were started shaking their heads signaling something but John didn’t understand their meaning “Isn’t it obvious?”

Erika lifted water glass on the table and threw the water on John’s face “Go marry who ever you want” .She left like a lightning after slamming the door .

John’s face was dripping with water . He had no idea what happened . He looked at Peter and Mike but they chose to avoid his eye contact and started talking some nonsense pretending to not have seen the embarrassing event.

After wiping off the water on his face with a tissue paper John finally asked .”Uncle Peter what happened actually?”

Peter chuckled “Young master ,you should not have said your last sentence. It is a honey trap set by girls . You will learn how to handle these situations once you have experience . Lets continue with your Idea.”

John sighed and thought ‘ She is becoming more and more normal now a days .I need to be careful.’

“Alright , my idea is simple. We need to target children from 6 to 14. Once a child changes its Value system ,it will influence the whole family and the family in turn influences the society .

Next question comes is how to change the Value system of a children? We can’t possibly visit every school in the country . What we need is change agents in every corner of India . These change agents will have to answer to the leaders in every cities . These leaders will be personally trained by me .

I want you to recruit volunteers who are highly motivated and relatively young. Because they will be still in the process of forming prejudices, opinions and bad Value system unlike older generations.

These leaders will teach the change agents in turn . Change agents should be someone born and brought up in that village . He need not be educated or influential. All he needs is to be open minded, take criticism with a smile and determined to contribute something to society.

What we need to teach kids are very simple things like love , sympathy , courage , honesty ,integrity ,truth and respect . It should be done via cultural programs that is relevant in that village . Change agent needs to use stories, legends of the village to come up with new ways to create awareness to children.

In every village there should be a Centre that acts as library to self help books and provides counselling to children .It should be run by a change agent and a group of mothers . All schools need to be connected to this Centre so that they will be able to co-operate with the change agent and access free library.

But main problem in India is poverty ,hunger and malnutrition. Children would not be willing to learn Values in an empty stomach . Mike you need to take care of this problem by using mid-day meals scheme in schools.”

Peter and Mike were satisfied by the idea . They knew it was just a beginning and when they collect data for 1 or 2 years, they could improvise . Any change needs step by step ,moreover it will create less ripples in the society.

Mike thought for a while and said “Young master , we can take care of recruiting and establishing centers but you need to be careful when providing training . It’s better to disguise yourself as a middle aged man that way you will have more credibility when you speak to group of people and attract less attention. Soon , I will create a new identity for you and your family ,so that you don’t have to stay as prisoners here any longer.”

John was grateful for his partners . They always think about his safety. John internally noted all their kindness ,he decided to return their favor when he became the clan leader of Sun school in the future.

After a few days, NGO -Value for Life, was successfully started .John and the rest changed their appearances and reintegrated with the society with a new identity. Jaden alias Luke who was searching for Erika and John ,finally gave up as he didn’t find any leads. He started concentrating on his main goal that was searching for mysterious object.

After 5 years

In a remote village in India,

A school headmaster was sweating profusely trying to recruit children for his school . Parents were sitting in front of his desks asking many questions about the quality of education.

“Headmaster , why should we send our kid here ?”

Headmaster was not shocked at parents question, in fact it was pretty normal question according to new development in educational system .

“Our school can provide 360 degree learning experience. We score children not only on academics but their Value system . Moreover over all score is based on parents , teachers , classmates feedback .”

Parents seems not satisfied for some reason “ Is this school NGO-Value for Life compliance ?”

Headmaster expected this question and said proudly “ How can we not? No one is joining school for purely academics . We take Value system seriously . Our school is already connected to its nearby Centre .”

Parents seemed to finally relax “ Then we don’t have any objection. You can’t blame us Headmaster , now a days all companies are asking for character certificates . We have no choice but build a solid foundation for the kid.”

Headmaster understood the situation and smiled “ Rest assured ,your kid is in safe hands. We don’t take teachers unless they pass Character test conducted by NGO-Value for life.”

Parents were satisfied . They themselves had to read several self help books and attend many workshops to build their Value system from scratch so that they would be good role models for their kids .
