John halted his cab and got off immediately . “Erika don’t panic . I will seek help .You should buy me as much time as you can ,understood? You are strong .I believe you.”

Erika somehow regained her composure a little “John .police officers ,politicians in the city are all already Luke’s pocket . I don’t think there is any other way unless some one power powerful than Luke want to help. Its OK don’t try anything stupid and get caught by Luke .I will try my best to stay alive but if I can’t …….remember ……I love you.”

John could hear tears dropping down on the phone screen . He clenched his fist and said “I love you too dear. Don’t loose hope , I know someone that might help . Wait for me to call back.”

John hurriedly disconnected the call and called Peter. He could only think of him at this point of time .

“Uncle Peter ,sorry to bother you again , I need your help”

John explained everything about Martin group and how much power they had in the city. Peter listened intently and finally said with a laugh “Don’t worry young master, regardless of how much power that Luke guy has ,it isn’t comparable to my friend . He will arrange an helicopter with a snap of his finger. Tell your girlfriend to be ready.”

John’s curiosity on Peter’s friend increased .He couldn’t help but guess who might that be . But he knew it was not the right time . He immediately called Erika and instructed her to go to the roof top. Erika was shocked . She wanted to ask more about John’s mysterious friend but she didn’t have time. She ran straight to the roof like a lightning.

John could hear Erika’s foot steps and gunshots at the same time in his phone. His heart started beating faster . He suddenly felt how useless he was. He understood without power or authority he can’t change the situation like this. Fortunately he met Peter today ,if not he really didn’t know whether he would see Erika again .

Luke was silently watching his computer as it displayed everything happening outside Erika’s house. He was sure that no one would be able to stop him in the city. He already started making play to play with Erika.

‘ Maybe I should rape her in front of that John. Hmm, that would be nice I guess.’

He already took over the company and sent a special team for Dara . Dara became busy and didn’t have time to worry about trivial matters. Jaden on the other hand already ordered Maya to kill all his enemies including John . Maya was taken back but she had no choice but to execute her boss order. She dispatched forces to everywhere including John’s house.

John who was busy hearing Erika’s situation in that middle of a street suddenly had a bad premonition. He disconnected the call and called Peter.

“Young master , helicopter is on its way don’t worry .”

John said anxiously “Uncle Peter , what if Erika’s situation is just a beginning. Luke has already became the sole head of the entire company . He might have already dispatched his men to my house . What should we do?”

Peter’s expression on the other side suddenly turned solemn “Young master you should not at any cost go to your house . I still have Jake’s mobile with me .I will tell his men to move your mother to somewhere safe . You stay where you are . I will come and get you.”

John complied without any hesitation. John thought he had to face difficulties in the future a few hours ego but he didn’t expect that it will come rushing like waves just in a short moment.

In a short 15 minutes he got a call from Erika saying she was saved .He finally heaved a sigh of relief. Peter came back as promised and picked him up to a safe location. He also informed him that John’s Mom was on her way to the safe location just like Erika’s helicopter.

Luke who was indulged in his own fantasy stood up abruptly .He watched the screen as a Helicopter picking up Erika and flying away. He smashed his computer screen and stormed to his secretory room.

Maya was busy making arrangements for killing all of Luke’s enemies. When Luke stormed in, she was taken aback. “Boss….if you called me …I would have come to your office?”

Luke didn’t bother with any explanation “Find out who sent a Helicopter to Erika’s house. I need to know as soon as possible.”

John on the other hand was picked up by Peter on a motorbike and were headed to a safe location.

Peter travelled outside the city and took so many detours and short cuts. John gave up on remembering the route and simply enjoyed the breeze and scenery while setting on the back. John’s mind couldn’t help but drift to many things .

Within a few months his life had turned upside down . Before encountering the microchip , he was living like dead man doing same thing again and again but a part of him thirsted for an adventure which he suppressed because of his cowardice.

He was not like his previous self anymore, who was afraid of moving out of comfort zone . He started accepting that part of him with open heart .He had no idea where his destiny will take him but he was ready to face anything .

Finally John saw a large house which was abandoned but kept in good condition. Peter stopped his bike in front of the house and asked him to enter the house. John took a deep breath free from pollution and observed the old styled house with great detail.

There was cattle on the nearby shed, there was all sort of pet animals walking around the house like dogs, rabbits, peacocks , ducks . Building on the other hand had no striking features but it was surrounded by lush green garden which gave a feeling like it was one with nature .There was tall trees blocking its sight from all sides . So unless someone already knew its existence ,no one would know .

As John entered the house he was surprised to find that it was more luxurious than the interior of Erika’s house . A butler greeted him courteously and took him to the living room . John saw a familiar back sitting on a sofa .

Without any hesitation, he rushed in front of that figure and knelt down.

“Mom , how are you? You are not hurt right ?”

John’s Mom was surprised “Son, I am OK ,who were those people that took me from hospital? Where are we now?” John could clearly see that she was in much better health after recovering in hospital.

John didn’t hold back anything except some stuff like his suicide attempt , microchip and secrets of Devata realm ,he told everything. John could see her face turning to shades of happy, surprise, shock and sad .It was like a roller coaster for her. She couldn’t believe what her son had gone through .John finally asked her forgiveness for telling him lies .

Instead of scolding ,she hugged him with her fragile arms and consoled .

“Son, you have gone through so much ,how can I be mad at you? I am a useless mother who is just a burden to you.”

John wiped of the tears on his Mom face and said “Mom ,I am the unfilial son, who failed you when you are in need .”

“Stop it , how can you blame yourself . You did your best. Everything is fine now .Alright where is my daughter in law?”

John who was already dived deep into emotional roller coaster ,felt like he was twisted suddenly to 180 degree. His eyes were twitching and mouth couldn’t utter a single word.

Suddenly he heard a sweet but sad voice “John where are you ?”

Before he could say anything .His mom how was still holding him in her arms ,threw him like a garbage and ran towards the voice . John couldn’t help but curse in anger ‘ Mom ,you forgot your only child just like that ? Humph …Humph ..you will soon see how weird your daughter in law is ‘

John sat cross legged on the floor and prepared to watch the show of his Mom embarrassing herself . But his expression soon twisted and eye balls almost popped out of his sockets.
