My mind pulled itself out forcefully in every direction
Agony imbued into my screams as I lay on the floor in excruciating pain.
And a dark crowned figure watching over me with a thick aura of death and contempt.
Against my will, he rose his hand upwards and with it me.
As I lay in the air, frozen trying my hardest to move even a finger, his slow, solemn fosotepts echoed in the room,
He moved his right hand foward, opened in a palm.
His heavy breathing in every corner of the domain.
And as he slowly closed his hand into a fist I felt something inside me being almost grasped.
And before I could even react, he pulled his hand back and with it a bright ball of white flames.
It revolved and swirled mysteriously as his hands trembled.
He took off the mask revealing a revolting black ghoul of some kind with broken horns.
He shivered as he slowly lifted the ball of white flames into his mouth.
Anything.
I just needed to do something.
Every time,
I'm by the side as things are taken away from me.
The things that protect me still take things away from me.
Screw it.
My eyes glowed bright green as I pushed all my things away.
A faint circle of runes formed between him and the apples.
He raised his hand to crush it and it would be an easy task.
Screw it.
I filled it with everything I could.
Memories, senses. emotions.
It grew brighter till it illuminated the entire room shining like a fluorescent sun.
Darkness enveloped it but it's shining mirage could still be seen.
And within it hope.
My eyes glowed gold as they darted across the room of engulfing darkness that lay still like a sleeping beast.

I summoned the circles once more. Their green runes gave me hope as they took away memories and parts of me even I didn't know existed.
As they engulfed my body in a light green aura my finger twiitched.
I felt holes within me but even those holes could not exhaust my determination fast enough.
I quickly ran towards him with all my energy.
And as I flew infront of him as he controlled the darkness to envelop the luminescent circle our eyes met.
And my eyes drowned in the all consuming darkness.
My entire body ached, stung and deteroriated. But i used the last of my energy to reach out.
And within my hand lay a revolving ball of white flames.
I felt a gap had been filled and with it a part of me.
But tht wasn't important as of now.
And as I touched the flames a horizontal spiral formed swirling uncontrollably devouring the charging darkness. The flames grew dimmer as I tried to elimante the darkness but for every area I covered the ball of white flames grew dimmer whilst the darkness only grew larger.
I met tidal waves with white flames. Engulfed but never consumed. Losing the fight but never defeated. The flames grew dangerously dim.
With one burst of white flames I arrived. A hand perched on his crown as our eyes met once more. I was in momentum one hand on his crown and one hand holding a revolving ball of white flames.
And one man I wanted to destroy under me.
The choice was obvious.
With every bit of willpower I could muster I urged my hand holding the ball of white flames to go down. And as I launched it down boosted by the momentum of flames the all-enveloping darkness consumed my hand . And my hand was no more.

As the ball of flames grew dimmer till it was but a spark, and my golden eyes slowly blackened the will of flames within me relit.
I pushed what was left of my arm down into the darkness as my golden eyes lit once more and as my arm met it's demise the ball of white flames lit up like a holy sun.
Pushing with all my might the despair lord now had a look in his eyes that was missing the whole time.
Fear.
But the flames were not my own.
They had a holy aura and they dimmed fast.
The huge vortex of unwilting flames spun swiftly but was engulfed by the darkness even faster.
As the darkness covered the white flames in endless-black the flames roared once more charging through the darkness, through the crown, through the skull until the despair lord was no more.
And then a hand touched my back.
Black, and deathly I looked behind me.
I woke up.
Laying on a ruined floor in a ruined castle.
I saw valleys of death filled with corpses and skulls. All the nearby land had been doused in a thick black liquid that corroded all.
As for me, I couldn't feel a thing nor could I feel any determination.
My memories had visible gaps in them and I knew in the fight that I had killed not just a Demon King but a Goddess too.
For the faint silver light illuminated me never.
So what now, I had an arm and a half.
A soul on the verge of collapse, an emotion gone, a sense gone and memories that had gaps so large I might of slain another Demon King unknowingly.
Honestly, losing my emotion of determination was a heavy hit.
It took most of my being to even attempt to get up.
The determination that once made my flames roar wildly was now yet another crevice laid in my soul.
I weakly got up urging my body. My golden eyes were fainter than ever and my body ached at every movement.
My feet bare pierced rocks which I had sensed not until too late.
As I made my way to the top of the castle my eyes laid sight on a throne.
On it read
Depheroe
The 48th Demon King of Despair.
Wait.
Why on Earth was I getting the urge to, sit on the throne?
Just one sit wouldn't hurt right.
Yeah, just one sit.
Just on-
Engulfing darkness consumed me.
Molded me.
Destroyed me.
Rebuilt me.
Became me,
I no longer sat on the throne.
It did.
It filled the gaps lost from my time-reversal and filled them.
Corrupted them.
Became them.
Corrupted me.
Became me.
And that was the end of me.
