《Transmigrator doesn't want to do this anymore》New beginnings

After a couple shocked faces and heartfelt goodbyes I set off to East Lumbria.
I booked a carriage for 1 using my last silver coin as thoughts collided in my mind,
How did he find my home?
How did he cross dimensions?
If Wilberson already died, doesn't that mean he knows the details about my party?
How do I get stronger?
Despite being a savior of the world my powers were somewhat limited.
"System,"
A bright blue screen materialized in front of me.
It was no god-send though.
It had 2 functions.
1. Showing the status of others.
2. Showing my status
"Status."
Numbers formed on the screen.
Kyle Rayto
LVL:32 (C Rank)
(Levels boost the main stats of a character. A mage would get more mana with more levels and a tiny bit of body strengthening.)
Abilities:
Goddess protection:
Silver light from the heavens protects you.
Activates when death is imminent.
50% All Attack Reduction
Lasts 25 seconds
1 day cooldown
Basic Body strengthening:
The most basic form of body strengthening
Passive ability
Strength boosted by 20%
Defense boosted by 20%
Speed boosted by 10%
???
Reverses time whilst protecting user in exchange for ???
And that was all. Considering I was fighting a demon king who can cross dimensions, has a demon army under him and has had decades to prepare for the hero. I was pretty screwed.
So why was I in East Lumbria?
Well, first off all to get away from a certain horned fellow and also to get to B rank as soon as possible. Only by attacking opponents slightly stronger than me could I level fast whilst not completely endangering myself.
First off, I bought a mask. The demon king had influence across the entire human and demon domain and now Earth I was assuming. After buying a fox mask I sweated under the sweltering heat but twas a small price instead of getting burnt to death by the Demon King.

After that I went to the guild.
Yup, that's right the guild going in the dungeon without a healer was suicide even with my abilities.
It was dusty, somewhat dark and cramped but the atmosphere was cheery.
I sat down as noises muffled and thoughts once again invaded my mind.
I had long had such strange thoughts.
If I lost parts of myself everytime I had to reverse time to save myself how long would it be until I was no longer me.
Or had that change been done already. Would I slowly become a different person until I had nothing left at all.
What was the limit to what I could lose.
Maybe I would go as far to losing my emotions, my common sense, my 5 senses and even my ability to think.
And I saw no connection in what I lost hence making me all the more nervous about what I would lose next.
Nervous, not scared.
Looking back at my thoughts reminded me to never to lose another part of me again.
And after 5 minutes someone accepted my healer commission.
And on it was the healers capabilities.
Amon Askereth
C rank Healer
Can reattach body parts in 30 minutes.
Can heal cuts in minimum 5 seconds.
Can heal large wounds in 20 seconds.
Knows the forest like the front of his hand.
It was short and somewhat snappy but it left an impression for sure.
"Tell him I accept."
The guild officier quickly left the dusty corner in a hurry.

"Be careful that frog is actually one of the 27th most poisonous animals in the world!"
"But that's just a leaf."
"That's it's illusion."
"But it's got berries growing on it?"
"How else is it going to feed itself?"

"You don't seem like the veteran I chose as my healer."
Slash (Yes, the healer has a sword.)
"Careful buddy, if you kept complaining that frog might have poisoned you."
"You just slashed a leaf."
"Just listen to the veteran!"
After bickering with this 'veteran' for 30 minutes I had gotten the grasps of this dungeon.
It was a tropical rainforest with most creatures being huge jaguars or horned crocodiles.
My veteran comrade had snow-white hair brushed to the side, a face that screamed oblivious and a well-built body.
Compared to a repeating-member of the going-home club there was a 'small' contrast.
After 30 minutes of travel I had slain a total of 7 Horned Crocodiles,2 Huge Jaguars and 3 Hell Packers.
My teammate had healed 3 cuts which he had obtained from being pricked by plants and had slain 17 'poisonous frogs.'

5 levels closer to beating the Demon King I guess...

One clean cut to the neck and another Horned Crocodile died. This scene had repeated so many times that the thrill of battle had long been replaced with an endless bore.
"KYLE BEHIND YOU!"
My teammate shouted desperately. Oh no, not another poisonous frog.
"IT'S A WOOD SHAMAN"
"I think that's called a tree Amon..."
And before I even heard a retort a solid impact sent me flying. My whole body ached in pain as my eyes met 2 glowing greens.
It was a tree... but two glowing lights were carved into it's front as the trees around it moved as it desired.
I driely whispered the words that would tell me what i was seeing was real.
"System."
Wood Shaman- A rank

The 48 Laws of Power in Practice
Discover how power works in the world, through true stories and real-world applications. In the game of power, we all play - as either conscious or unconscious players. So we can't afford not to know the rules. The ** chapters have the most outrageous content. In each chapter, I will be summarizing one of the laws and how it can be applied to current events and pop culture. Some of you have told me the stories are what you enjoy the most. They are real, raw, and anonymous so that others may learn from my mistakes. There will be cringe-worthy stories of self-sabotage, but perhaps also some unlikely triumphs. Some of the details are changed to protect the innocent, (or perhaps guilty). "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene illustrates truths about power, through philosophy and lessons from three thousand years of history, which still hold true today. There is a lot to learn from each chapter. I encourage you to go on this journey with me by reflecting on how each law might apply to you. Together, may we learn from the past and take control of the future.
