Chapter 21 Tainted Scorpion VS Crimson Scorpion
“There is no more need for me to stick around here. Time for me to go back.” [Whoosh! Whoosh!] “Huh? What is that?”
As I prepared to return home, my peripheral vision glimpsed a vague silhouette slipping out of the blaze from Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals roof, moreover, skipping over the adjacent buildings.
“How suspicious.” I thought to myself. Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals explosion was no accident. So I followed the trail of that vague silhouette until I uncovered its identity. I was alarmed by what I discovered.
“Isn’t that Crimson Scorpion? Why was she coming out of Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals? Could it be that she was contracted to assassinate someone who works there and make it seem like an accident?” Wanting to know more, I continued my chase after the league’s elite Coloured Scorpion.
[Whoosh! Whoosh!] “Shadow Crawler!” I slipped into the darkness to gain an advantage, travelled stealthily across the shadows of the buildings until I intercepted Crimson Scorpion on the following rooftop. When she noticed my presence in front of her, she halted her advance several metres ahead of me.
“A Black Scorpion? What are you doing here? You don’t seem like your apart of my squadron. Identify your unit lackey!” Due to my current lower-tier armour, Crimson Scorpion didn’t recognize my identity. I ignored her enquiry and said:
“Who I am is irrelevant.”
“Irrelevant?” Crimson Scorpion clenched her fists intensely. “You’re rather disrespectful for a lowly Black Scorpion. Don’t you recognize the difference in our rank? Should I beat some manners into you, bitch?”
“Before you spank my bottom, won’t you listen to why I approached you?”
“Hm? I am curious. What reason could a lowly scorpion such as yourself have to be blocking my path? Hurry up and speak!”
“Very well.” I straightened my back then pointed in the direction of the burring lotus. “Were you the one who set in on fire?”
“What if I am?”
“Why did you do it?”
“If you’re a scorpion you know I can’t disclose such information. Is this really what you stopped me for? Tsk, such rubbish. Quit wasting my time and piss off!” [Whoosh!]
Crimson Scorpion dashed towards me with her intent being to flee the area, I stepped out of her way; was about to allow her to pass. However, when she got within breathing distance of me, my keen eyesight glimpsed a Dark Bloom Orchid sticking out of her assassination pouch.
“Wait!” I quickly reached out and grabbed her arm, preventing her from moving another step.
“You insolent Black Scorpion! You really don’t like this arm of yours, do you? Let go!” [Whoosh!] Crimson Scorpion viciously swung her knee around, aiming at my face. Whilst gripping her arm, I ducked underneath her crotch and manoeuvred myself to where I captured her slender neck in my embrace.

I was positioned behind her. While keeping her restricted, I slithered my free arm into her pouch and took out its contents. “This is Dark Bloom Orchid, isn’t it? How come you have this in your bag? Did you perhaps attacked Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals because of these?”
“I don’t have to explain myself to a damn lowly Black Scorpion! You will incur my wrath if you keep holding me like this.”
“I won’t unhand you until you tell me what I want to know.” I refused to set her free.
“Alright, bitch. You asked for this. Hell Evade!” [Fwoosh!] The moment this crimson slut finish speaking, a flash of heat encompassed my body. She disappeared out of my grasp, reappearing several metres behind me.
“I forgot she had this annoying ability. The Psionic Scorpion that she had consumed after becoming a Coloured Scorpion was one of the infernal attributes.” Due to this, Crimson Scorpion had acquired hellish abilities. One of which was known as Hell Evade. It transformed her entire body into a streamline of heat which allowed her to vanish from the physical realm for a split second.
My Shadow Crawler was kind of similar to her Hell Evade. The disadvantage of my ability was that it was useless in the daytime when there was more sun exposer. Unlike Hell Evade which could be utilized anywhere at any time, mine had to be among dark or black objects.
[Fwoosh! Fwoosh!] After slipping out of my grasp, Crimson Scorpion unsheathed her dual assassination blades which were tucked at the back of her armour, both of them caught on fire immediately after revealing their sharpness.
“You black bitch! You will regret ever crossing my path. Though it is forbidden for us scorpions to fight among ourselves outside the confines of Mt Venom. I will clean you up properly tonight without a trace. Die!”
[Dash!] This damn infernal slut suddenly rushed at me while brandishing her blazing assassination blades. Was I just going to stand there and let her roast me to pieces? Albeit my strength wasn’t at its peak, I did my best to counteract this crazy woman.
“Vambrace!” [Flick! Flick!] I flung out my chained-blades at the incoming scorpion’s head. She didn’t attempt to block my surprise assault, instead, she used her Hell Evade technique to vanish between realms and reappeared behind me.
“You’re dead meat bitch!” [Whoosh!] The audible slash coupled with the blazing heat that followed told me that Crimson Scorpion’s swords trajectory was aimed at my curvy waist. This hot-blooded woman wasn’t joking around about killing me. If her swords hit their target I would have been slashed in sexy halves.
To avoid getting snapped in two, I revealed a trump I didn’t want to use. “Shadow Crawler!” [Drip!] My body transformed into a tainted liquid of darkness which blended seamlessly into the shadows on the roof.

“Huh, that ability was…?”
After I resurfaced the shade at Crimson Scorpion’s posterior, I noticed that she was startled by something. “Could she have figured out my identity?” not giving her a chance to retaliate, I entangled my chained-blade around Crimson Scorpion’s midriff then spun her around with enough impetus to slam her stinking ass into a roof protrusion.
[Boom!] The loud impact of concrete breaking apart echoed throughout the disquieted night. This was from me burying Crimson Scorpion’s ass deep inside manufactured sediment. She was one of my underlings before she got promoted to a Coloured Scorpion. How dared she acted so cocky in the presence of her superior? Humph! I enjoyed whipping her smelly tushy.
[Thud! Thud!] “Cough! Cough!” Crimson Scorpion crawled out of the smashed wall, spitting out dirt and rocks from her filthy mouth. She reclaimed her blades which had fell on the floor. [Grip!] The moment they returned into her grasp, they rekindled once more. [Fwoosh!] This time they blazed even fiercer.
“You bitch! Who are you? How can you use a dead person’s technique? Did you steal that woman’s Psionic Scorpion? No, that’s not it.” Crimson Scorpion directed her vision to the vambrace on my arms and continued her deducing lip service. “The way you fight is way too similar. I only know of one scorpion who could pull off what you just did and she is supposed to be dead. Come to think of it, something didn’t add up. Why hasn’t Master Odok held the Torpid Ceremony yet? It’s as if he knew that you weren’t officially dead. Isn’t that right Golden Scorpion or should I say Tainted Scorpion?”
[Clap! Clap! Clap!] “Bravo, bravo. What genius detective skill. You got me.” I admitted my identity, there was no point hiding it anymore.
“So it is you, Tainted Scorpion. Why have you been pretending to be dead all this time? You know what, don’t even answer. I don’t care because I’m about to send you 6 feet under for real this time!”
[Fwoosh!] Crimson Scorpion launched a frontal assault at me. “Now I know who you are, don’t expect things to go your way. Out of the 100 battles that we’ve had in the past, I’ve bested you 70 times. I’m already accustomed to all of your techniques.”
This ridiculous woman. I quickly hopped over her thrusting blade then kicked her shoulder like a swirling breeze. “Aren’t you a bit dumb when it comes to mathematics? Subtract a zero you loser. Out of our 100 battles you’ve only barely managed to kiss my ass 7 times. I should have made you used your tongue to lick the shit from my asshole too.”
“Waaaah! You tainted bitch! I can’t stand your filthy mouth!” Crimson Scorpion got riled up by my dubious taunts. She was usually impulsive like that. To constantly be fooled by me, what a dolt or so I thought.
Crimson Scorpion had only pretended to be caught in my web of taunts to cast her own net of capture. She waited until I showed off my hubris to counteract my superiority.
“You thought I was sitting down on my ass doing nothing this entire time? Unlike you who faked her death so you could cower in the darkness, I was actually improving my Psionic Scorpion. Now you will suffer for belittling me. Clone Blaze!” [Boom! Boom! Boom!]
“What the hell?” I was outwitted by Crimson Scorpion’s brand new attack. After she called out the name of her technique, multiple blazing doppelgangers of her fiery mien appeared out of thin air and formed an inescapable encirclement around me. “You bitch what are you up to?”
“Don’t fret, tainted whore! You’re about to find out. Advance!” [Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!]
The multiple doppelgangers dashed towards me simultaneously with their arms outstretched. Unlike the original body, these copies had no weapons, saved for themselves. I wondered why they were rushing at me as if they wanted to make love.
“I won’t let either of you bastards embrace me!” I flicked out my chained-blades; wasted no time slashing through the encroaching doppelgangers. Soon after I discovered that my attacks were futile then came Crimson Scorpion’s annoying voice.
“Fu-hu-hu! It’s no use trying to cut my hellish doppelgangers asunder. Earlier you boasted about how I only bested you 7 times. Well, this will be the 8th and final. Enjoy your death, tainted whore.”
“Oh no….!”
[Boom! Boom! Boom!] As soon as Crimson Scorpion’s blazing doppelgangers embraced my Tainted self, her fiery shadows made explosive love to me which literally tore my body to pieces. The last thing I heard before losing consciousness were:
“Fu-hu-hu-hu. Have a nice trip to the afterlife, Tainted Whore. Put in a good word with the devil for me after you’ve sucked his dick. I want a lavish dwelling space when it is my time to join you down there. Fu-hu-hu. Suffer properly okay?”
“No, boss! Ajay, you get away from her!”
“Hm? Who is this newcomer? Wait aren’t you that recently promoted Coloured Scorpion? Amethyst was it? Fu-hu-hu. Feel free to scrape up the remains of your dead mentor. I’ve already cut her up nicely for you. Bye, bye, Ember.” [Whoosh!]
[Thud! Thud! Thud!] “No! Boss! Boss! You can’t die on me! Boss!”
