Chapter 16 Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals
Author’s POV (Point Of View):
[Chatter! Chatter!]
Surrounding the vandalized flower shop were concerned individuals coupled with a handful of cops. Deleon Shaw was the one who called them after he woke up and discovered that the thugs were nowhere to be found along with the kind florist. He thought that they must have abducted her for sexual favours since she refused to pay up the extortion money. He was worried sick for the florist’s safety.
“Hmm? What’s with all that commotion?” On her way back, Tainted Scorpion noticed a police vehicle parked outside her shop along with some inquisitive passer-by. “Did that silly man, made the cops aware of what happened? He’s only inviting more trouble to my establishment. Sometimes caring for someone too much can be quite detrimental.”
“Hey, I’m telling you that those gangsters assaulted and abducted the owner of this shop! Why aren’t you out there searching for her?” Deleon Shaw was acting furious with the officers. “What if something bad happens to her?”
The person he was talking to was Detective Hoon from the Arak Gold’s central precinct. “Calm down, Mr Shaw. We are the best of the best in the search and rescue department. Now you said that three men abducted the florist who you believe to be affiliates of the Demon Triad. Do you have any idea in which direction they might have taken her?”
“No, I don’t! As I’ve told you already I was unconscious. When I came too I noticed that they were already gone. Aren’t you the detective? Hurry up and find her!”
“That won’t be necessary.” Amid their argument, Tainted Scorpion appeared looking noble as ever.
“Huh, Ms Anna?” When Deleon laid eyes on the woman he was infatuated with, he was totally taken to the rear. “It really is you! What happened? What about those gangsters?”
“Huh?” Detective Hoon noticed Tainted Scorpion’s dishevelled appearance and sensed that something was off. “Is this the person you were talking about?”
“Yes, she is.” Deleon ran over to Tainted Scorpion where inspected her calm mien. “Ms Anna! Your left arm is bleeding what happened? Did those thugs do this to you?”
“I want to hear this story also.” At that moment, Detective Hoon came over briskly and stared down at Tainted Scorpion. He felt that something was off with this woman. Detective Hoon was affiliated with the underground syndicates of Arak Gold. He knew how detestable and vicious the Demon Triads can be. So he was hefty suspicious when he saw this petite florist coming back with minimal injuries from her abduction.
Taking notice of the many eyes now placed on her, Tainted Scorpion broke down in tears with her face buried in her palm. [Sob! Sob!] “Those bad men demanded a lot of money from me. They threatened to destroy my shop if I didn’t pay up. I didn’t have that amount of cash lying around so they compelled me to withdraw all that I had on my card. They forcibly dragged me away to an ATM around the corner…”

[Sob! Sob!] “They said they would let me go if I give them everything. After I deposited the money I tried to run away but one of them brutishly slashed my arm, saying that the money wasn’t enough. They tried to drag me in a nearby alley to rape me but due to a passing police vehicle they got scared away.” [Sob! Sob!] “I’m still so shaken up. What will I do when those men come back to hurt me.”
“Hm?” Detective Hoon thought to himself after listening to the story spat out by the damsel in distress. ‘I drove by that area earlier that had an ATM. Could it be my car that they spotted and ran away?’
“Don’t worry, Anna. I’ll make sure to keep you safe until those thugs are caught.” Deleon Shaw gave his upset vision to the cops. “You heard what she said. Hurry up catch those brutes before they caused further harm to my friend!”
“Wait just a moment.” Detective Hoon picked up on the strong scent of blood coming from the damsel’s body. A small cut on the forearm couldn’t kick up this pungent stench of blood. “Where exactly did you say those men ran off to? Did you get a good look at their faces? Why don’t you come with me to the station? That’s the safest place for you right now.
“Are you serious?!” Deleon pushed away Detective Hoon’s arm that was reaching for Tainted Scorpion’s shoulder. “What station? She needs immediate medical care. Get out of my way! Anna, come with me. I’ll carry you to the hospital.”
“No, that really isn’t necessary…”
“You’re going!” Deleon pushed through the small crowd while dragging Anna behind him. He tossed her into his vehicle, got in the driver’s seat then drove away before the cops could affiliate themselves with Tainted Scorpion. His concerning actions inadvertently helped her escaped police investigation.
Main character’s POV (Point Of View):
For the first time since we met, this girly guy seemed so manly. He tossed me into his vehicle like a piece of animated meat and began driving to the hospital. I was touched by his caring nature. Other than my father, no other man had ever treated me this way. Usually, I was allergic to kindness but with this man’s company, I felt so… what’s the word? I don’t know, you guess.
“Anna, continue applying pressure to the wound, we will arrive at the hospital shortly.”
“No, please! I don’t like hospitals. They freak me out a lot. This injury isn’t that major. I can just apply the dressing myself and wrap it with bandages.” I avoided hospitals for various reasons. One of which was to not leave a trace of medical history. Yet this kind man still insisted on taking me there.
“What do you mean, Anna? That wound on your arm is too deep, it needs stitches to properly heal. The hospital would be best for you than some home applied remedy.”

“No! I don’t want to go to the hospital. If you insist on taking me there then pull over right now.”
“Ah, but…?” Deleon respected my request. I thought that he was about to stop the car but he didn’t, instead, he shifted the vehicle from the course leading to the hospital. “I understand your worries. Then I won’t bring you to the hospital but I will still make sure that your injuries are well taken care of.”
“Huh, where are you taking me if not the hospital?”
“To my lab. I have a friend who works in the infirmary. She will take good care of your wound.”
“Oh, alright.” I assented to his idea for numerous reasons. For one, I’ve never been inside Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals and I wanted to see what the interior looks like. Since this man wanted to be kind to me then I took advantage of him.
[Vrrm!] Soon we pulled over in the parking lot of Bio-Ace Pharmaceuticals. Getting out of the car, I witnessed the exterior of the company in all of its glory. The high-rise building had a bizarre flower motif. The architect who designed this building to resemble a lotus had quite the imagination to bring his thoughts to fruition. No wonder Bio-Ace Pharmaceutical garnered so much attraction in Arak Gold, not only did they produced rare medicinal formulas but they also had a very beautiful flower edifice.
“Anna, come this way.”
“Ahm.” I followed my admirer to the back entrance of the building. Due to how late it was, most of the daily operations were already over. Many workers had gone home, the main entrance was already closed and the only way to gain access to the building was to use a specially made key-card linked with the staff’s biometrics.
After Deleon swiped his key-card across the electronic reader, I was granted access to his workplace. The interior was also on par with the outer décor. Everything in sight was spick and span. Not a nick of dust could be found on the walls nor on the floors, which was expected for a triple A-class pharmaceutical company. Also, strict guards were positioned in every corner that we walked by.
As I continued to follow Deleon throughout the secure edifice I eventually asked him: “We’ve been walking for so long now, when will make it to this infirmary of yours?”
“Don’t worry. After taking this elevator, we’ll be right there. Let me see your hand.”
“Oh, okay.” I showed him my arm as promised.
“Does it still hurt?”
“Yes, a little.” To be honest this little self-inflict wound didn’t hurt at all. Normally my injuries would have healed already if I wasn’t restricting my body’s regeneration process. I had to continue playing the role of a weak florist for the time being to maintain my disguised persona.
[Ding!] The elevator stopped on the -4th floor. Based on what Deleon told me, this was a restricted underground level where special experimentations were held. There was an infirmary on the ground floor but because it was in the dead of night, those workers had already gone home. Hence, the reason why he brought me to a restricted level. He told me he had a friend who usually works the night shift in support of the special scientists who worked overtime.
“Come, it’s this way.” Deleon directed me to a special room. “I called in advance to inform her of our arrival. Please go inside.”
“Okay.” As I stepped into the room, I was greeted by a very gorgeous woman whose breasts size rivalled my own. This woman had fair skin coupled with a great figure which led me to wonder if she was already married. I didn’t notice a ring on her finger nor did she dressed conservatively. Did she operate on patients with her ass and breasts hanging loose? Tsk! What a slutty woman.
“Wow, so is this the florist you informed me about Prof. Shaw?”
“Yes, she’s the one.”
“Not bad, she’s quite the looker. No wonder you turned me down, hotshot. Hi there, the name is Kate. What’s yours?”
This provocative woman extended her hand to me as a form of greeting. By what I heard her mentioned, it appears that she confessed to Deleon but he turned her down. Serves her right, she didn’t deserve him with that exposed flesh of hers. I could tell that she was a Sports-Woman (Harlot) and would betray Deleon’s trust in a heartbeat as soon as she found a better dick to play with. Finished sizing up this repulsive woman, I reciprocated her greeting with a curt handshake.
“How do you do? My name is Anna, I’m a friend of Deleon.”
“Nice to meet you, Anna. So tell me, how did you get that nasty cut on your arm? At first glance, it looks like 2 ½ cm knife laceration.”
“Ah, yes. This was caused by a group of violent men.”
“Now you’ve caught my interest. Please tell me more. Did you got pulled in some sort of bar fight then Prof. Shaw swooped in like a knight in shining armour and rescued you?”
“Well…” Before I could answer this pressing woman’s enquiry, Deleon abruptly intervened as if he didn’t want me to spill the beans about him getting the daylight knocked out of him during the first round.
“Dr Kate, stop asking her so many questions. Can’t you see that you’re making her feel uncomfortable? She’s been through a lot tonight. Can you quickly take care of her wounded arm for me? I’ll be back when you’re finished.”
“Take your time, sweetheart. When you get back, she will be as good as new.”
“Okay, then I’m leaving her in your care. Get well, Anna. I’ll be back shortly.”
“Please don’t worry about me and go take care of your business.”
“Alright.” [Slam!]

An Infinite Recursion of Time
I always wanted to be taken to another world, and as they say, there are no atheists in the foxhole that we call real life. I prayed, and prayed, and prayed until one day, I opened my eyes to see my dream had come true. I also saw the axe of an orc bearing down on my skull. You win some, you lose some. A time-loop fantasy story written after getting into litRPGs a bit. I wondered what it would be like if I just went and wrote a story about all the things I liked in web fiction without holding back: time loops, RPG stats, certain character archetypes, and harems played straight. Please be warned of lewd descriptions and depraved sexualization. If nothing else, this will be a sincere work. System Prime
The legend of System Prime is one that has been told and retold many times over the eons. About how she, along with her trusted partner, travelled the worlds of Ahunna (a.hoon.a), sharing the [Gift of System] to all who needed it. It is a great story. Somewhat factual too. As long as you overlook the fact that System Prime was never a woman. —— If this story seems familiar to you, then congratulations, you're psychic. Well, that or you've read it before on my old account, Eli8iR, which I had to delete because of a probably silly reason that will need a shitton of weed to make me spill. If you don't recognize this story, then unfortunately you're not psychic. On the bright side though, it has been scientifically proven that reading my stories might make you psychic. Or blind. But that only happened twice, and those guys should not have badmouthed my work. Enjoy.
