Black darkness.
That's all it saw.
It was in a deep slumber.
It was dark.
It was blackness.
All it's life it was in a dark canyon. It fought visicous fought. It kill visiocly too eeat and survive. Even if it was just out of slight annoyance it killed. It was def not a "good" morally creature. It was a "big baddie". But that's how things were down here.
It living like this all its life. It knew no better than to bully.
It was in darkness.
But then some light came.
It saw. It saw something before it.
It was a young boy about eight years old? Red hair and blood tattooos.
.
.
.
The black devil bear awoke up. It was no longer incapacitated. Besides it bruised neck, it had no enjeries. Did this boy Atama not hurt it while it was downn? It spared him?
Foolish mistake!
The bear lashed out because it was its nature! It sent a claw straight for the boy's neck.
Splat!
Blood was spilled!
....
But Atama was not killed!
The bear stopped its strike the moment skin was broken, but it did not strike any further.
Warm blood trailed down its claws, but it's spine had a chill run down it.
The bear was intimidated by Atama.
The boy did not even flinch in face of death.
This boy was true courage personified!
[JK lolol. This misunderstanding is funny. Atama was just tired so he didn't even realize he was bout to get killed. He got lucky.]
The bear who kould have easily slain Atama withdrew its paw and gave the boy a look of acknowledgment.
It nodded.
It wondered why the boy had spared it.
Seeing the bear, Atama could somewhat understand its thoughts.
"Bear, I spared you because I did not want to shed blood needlessly. I thought you were pitiful so I wanted to help you."

Bear growled and thrashed about. It did not need this boy's pity!
But then it calmed down.
"Are you done with your tantrum?" Atama spoke like an 80 year old sword master.
Bear was calm.
"Bear, you don't need to live life down here. There is more to life than the darkness in this canyon. There are beatiful things and delicious foods and good friends. Come with me on my adventure." Atama said in serious ness.
"Alrighty theeeeen. YOu drive a hard bargain!"

The Monster Inside: The First Vampire
Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a piece of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.
