Atama washed himself in a nearby stream before going back up the mountain. He didn't want to worry them with his wounds after all.
As expected of his blood red mist spirit body, his body was already healing.
He had strength to run again. So he did.
He ran up the mountain towards teh cave.
"Oh, Atama, why were you gone so long. We were getting worried." Agra said.
"Mhm. I was just about to go look for you." Gehgor said.
"Woof" Wolf woofed.
"O-oh, I just had to make a really big pee. Nothing to worry about." Atama did not have the heart to tell them that he was going to fight hte bad guys alone. Not yet.
The people didn't look convinced, but everyone has one or two secrets, right?
"Well just make sure you take care of yourself, Atama. We only has each others now." Said Agra.
Atama nodded vigorously.
And so they all went to sleep.
scene change~
G-Rabbit who I shall now shorten as Bart because G-Rabbit is too long to type, wassneaking through the brush. He was so so watchful
He was on an undercover mission from the US government to fight the Evil League of Bad Guys. Also known as the E.L.O.B.G.
The ELOBG were a group of international warlord baddies who wanted to rule the world. Rumor was that they were on a mission to make supah soldiers. Soldiers like Bart. The thing is, however, is that Bart was made by the US gov. Not the ELOBG.
Bart was one of the only super solders in the world. The world found out about his existence because of spies in the government, so everyone wanted to catch him for expirimentation and replication.
The US told him to hide out on vacation because of this. If the ELOBG captured Bart, they'd be three feet closer to world domination.

"To think they found me so soon...." Bart blew out a puff of cig smoke.
Bart hopped around. He left no stone unturned but turned it over again. after all, he wanted to check everything, but didn't want them to know he was there.
*Crack*
Bart's rabbit ears stiffened and he began to hears. What made that noise?
*Click*
Bart readied his gat and approached the source of the noise like he was James 007 Bond or something.
pitter patter.
It was very funny scene. A G lookin' rabbit walking through a jungly forest with a gat in hand.
The moonlight was the only source of light in the dark night environment, but Bart was a rabbit so he could also hear and smell well. He wasn't limited like a human to rely only on sight --- He was a super soldier!
Bart wandered farther then Zwoom!
He was caught by the leg and was lifted up by a rope. Now he dropped his gun and hanged upside down.
*Clap Clap Clap*
Heh, is the rumored super soldier this weak?
A bald, double-eyepatched man came out. He wore only black to conceal himself better. Like a ninja.
Grrrr. Bart chattered his teeth in angry.
Thhe bald man who I will call DE (double-eyepatch.) pulled out a stick that crackedled with thunder electricity.
BZZ!
Bart's fur rose in nervousness.
"You cowered! You set me up!"
"Duh"
"Let me go!"
"Why would I do that? I just caught you."
"Because it's the right thing to do?"
DE held his chin and then nodded.
"Okay."
So De approached Bart but instead of freeing him, he zapped him! How cruel! He didn't stick to his word! So eveil!
"BAHHH! I thought you were going to release me!"
"Heh heh I lied."
So despicable. Do you hate this bad guy yet, guys? I need the audience to get mad at him so they feel good when the good guys come to beat him up.
De laughed manically like maniac.
"Mwuahhahahahah! Now the ELOBG will rule the universe!

Note: Slight edits to early chapters (and removal of one chapter - previously chapter 2) have been made 2/2/21 The city, my city, had once been alive in a way that was hard to describe. Thriving, active, hopeful. Vibrant. But life, as I had come to learn, sometimes possesses only the most tenuous of grasps. Finally, in the end, it became my city - mine alone. I was, after all, the only one left. Worse, it was entirely my fault. There was red in my ledger that could never be wiped clean. Not while I still lived, anyway. This story follows Eran, a man who became the opposite of everything he had ever wanted to be; in a world where superpowers began to appear in a rare few, his lack of control over his own power relegated him to the role of a terrible villain - the Reaper, named so for the countless lives that he absorbed and made his own, each only furthering his deadly lack of control. Gone mad with guilt and isolation, he strove for a single heroic act - his own demise. Death was less permanent than he hoped. Centuries later, he woke to a changed world and in a body not his own. Unfortunately, his power came with him. Yet this time, things would be different. This time, he had a chance to bring it under control. He could never truly make up for the things he had done; he could never achieve redemption. That wouldn't stop him from trying to be a hero. 8 141Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
8 544Calf the Furless (First Edition)
Calf, the heir presumptive has fallen short once again. As a half-being his competition has always stood heads and shoulders above his physical capabilities but this time, more is at play in keeping him down than the fetters of human ability. "THEY" have interfered and as a consequence, Calf is thrown into a Rites the likes of which only the annals and a few of the long-lived have seen. Will he prevail, or will his story end before it even begins. PROLOGUE: The rite of passage. Every creature known and yet to be known by man undergoes its own challenges. These separate the chaff from the worthy crop, whittling down the challengers for every progressive leg of the journey we call life. Be it formalized and observed, or unwittingly followed in the execution of daily life, every form of it is ritualized. That ritual is what we call the rites, the passage being the continuation of life itself, for even when metaphorical, a death is certain in choice and accommodations should one fail to meet its expectations. ⯁⯁⯁ At the top of any group stands a king, set apart from all by qualification, ranging from singular to multivariate by the complexity of each group. To those of the central forests of Greater Liminos, better known as Taurreland, strength is king. Though the land abounds with creatures great and small, boasting intellect, arcane skills and artisanal prowess, strength stands above all of them, second to none. 'Strength will prevail over all' stands as their motto, and to that end, the Rites of a King require triumph over forces from all disciplines. ⯁⯁⯁ Day 300,Year seventeen,Future calendar of the Taurs... Such a rites would occur on that day, and its events would be the first in a sequence of challenges to the status quo. A single answer would emerge to satisfy all the questions that had been asked of a certain Prince for the past 8 years, but as a consequence, that answer would put to question all that was tradition, and the weight of hereditary strength.
