《The World Of Divinity》Back To The Grind!

"I guess all that's left to figure out now is this breathing technique. It was ridicously hard to preform a single cycle especially just for a breathing technique."

"Either way my gut is telling me that I've discovered a gem. Maybe the reason why this quest wasn't activated in my previous life was for the difficulty to trigger it."

"Hmm now that I'm thinking about it there was a whole different section to the technique."

Alex once again took out the diary and flicked his way to the second page. Once again immersing himself into the study of the picture.

As soon as his eyes settled on the picture he was struck with an illusion of a man and a sword becoming one. It felt so real that it forced Alex into silence as he closed his eyes.

The image of a battlefield appeared in Alex's mind. One man stood a mist countless bodies dressed in black. The man however didn't ay any heed to this as if he wasn't even at war. There was a semblance of a inner war taking place in his body. He was merging chaotic forces with his gentle nature.

With the the completion of his technique he lifted his sword before slashing viciously causing golden Mana to appear from his blade.

Puh*

Alex awoke from his study with sweat on his forehead. From all of his battles he had never seen something so pure yet deadly.

"Golden Mana huh?"

"That sure is interesting. It seems I need to take this technique seriously from now on. This could just change everything."

"Well it's time to level up again and not to mention actually get what I came to Blood Moore Valley for in the first place."

"Scarlet, how's the dungeon team progressing?" Wilted Rose said as she was pondering on something as she looked out from the balcony towards the east.

"We managed to snatch up most of the amour pieces on the market not too mention the main core of the team are all top of the leader board rankings."

Despite the good news Rose didn't seem to express any emotion as she took a drink from the table.

"Hmm speaking off which did we find any news on the mysterious auctioneer of the amour pieces. If we can pull a Blacksmith that's leading everyone by their noses it could strengthen the guild quite a bit." She said as her eyes glinted with a seriousness.

"Humph, I looked into it but the player's a ghost. All of our intel teams tried to pry some news from the NPC' around the auction house but the NPC's all seem refrain from speaking anything out the player." Scarlet replied as she pouted angrily.

"Oh such a thing huh? Perhaps this player is a bigger fish than I original thought." Rose said with clear interest pique.

"Really?"

"It should just be some run of the mill blacksmith that got lucky finding a early game recipe. Should it not?"

"Hehe, the only reason why the intel teams failed should be because the player has higher reputation than the people asking questions. Which means this player has completed a lot of quests before he started smithing."

"Oh? A crouching tiger?" Scarlet said with a hint of battle intent in her voice.

"Well we'll put this to the back of the queue for now. Those dogs from Shadow guild have been making a mess since the auction. They really don't know how high the sky is. It seems we'll have to show them who's boss in the upcoming regional dungeon."

-Alex's POV-

"Huh finally back on the surface. Ah the cave really was unnecessarily dark at times. Oh well, I've wasted way too much time here already."

"Time to level up again."

Not too long later, Alex found himself back standing next to the lake he had jumped into to escape from the Shadowed Manticore.

"It really was hateful now that I look back at it. I really should get my revenge once I'm strong enough. With this new class it shouldn't be long with the extra stat points."

Gazing out upon the lake he saw many creatures of all different levels coming for water. This place really was a goldmine for someone looking to hunt.

"Let's start."

Alex placed his dagger in hand that had yet too really taste blood since it binded with him. Something he was about to change.

Activating [Stealth] Alex hid in between a patch of bushes and tree's as he picked out his prey.

"Hmm a couple of wolves will do the trick."

Rustle* Rustle*

looking up Alex held his breath before circling to the back of the incoming pack. He counted 6 wolves in total. Ranging from level 8 to the leader of the pack being level 13.

This was prey that the rest of the player base would focus on hunting to level up. As for Alex this was easy pickings.

He dashed into battle trying not to draw attention to himself lest he cause a beast tide close to the lake.

Closing in on the closest wolf he slashed at the wolf's hind legs while continuing on towards the next in line.

Swoosh* Swoosh*

Sounds of blood hitting the fall followed up as Alex trapped the pack with his outrageous speed.

Before long they all feel in a matter of seconds.

With the upgrade in strength from his class Alex pretty much one shot these wolves.
