After seeing wath he just came out of Tom starts to scream and cry.

???:”Congratulations Ms. Samantha! It’s a boy!”(the man was speaking in a language unfamiliar to Tom so he does not understand anything)

Said a guy that looked like a medic.

After that he is being taken by a fat lady who was dressed like a nurse out of that room, on a hallway with broken lighting and rusty benches . After almost dropping Tom, the fat nurse manages to get to a room that had a paint job with a flower theme that was almost scraping off of it. The nurse oppenes the door where they are being met by a big room full of new-borns and puts Tom in a little bed somwhere at the back of that room.

Still puzzled Tom starts to try to speak and sees that he can still pronounce his native Russian pretty well but he imediatly shuts up after some nurses that were changing diapers almost sees him speaking.

Tom:”Damn that was close! I heard that if people see abnormalities they just take them in for experiments! I don’t know wath’s happening so I don’t want to cause any trouble. said to himself”

And so he just fakes some screaming and crying so that he could blend in with the others.

After he got tired of acting he tries to preted that he fell asleep so he can think of wath his first move will be.

Tom:”Oh boy, the hell happened? I was just minding my own business and out of the blue I am getting reborn? Did I got hit by a car or something and got reincarnated? Well let’s just wait and see. I hope every thing will be ok. thinks Tom”

Tom realizes that in the room there were no windows and after what it seemed an eternity or just a few days because the lights were never turned off, the fat nurse returns and goes right into his direction.

As a payback for almost dropping him some time earlier he starts screaming, which let to the rest of the new-borns to do the same.

The panicked nurse rushes towards him, grabs him and runs out of the room.

Outside the room was a middle aged woman with messy hair and wrinkled clothes. The woman takes Tom and puts him in a basket.

The vibe the woman was giving was not one of love, as it should have been since he is a baby, but he decides to overlook it since he doesn’t like babies too much either.

When they went outside Tom notices the old-stilled buildings, the kind of building you would see at the beginning of the XX-th century. Those building did not look like they were too old but like they were build just a couple of years ago.

Tom is now very scared because the whole atmosphere was very unfamiliar yet it felt like it was the standard of the place.

Sometime later the woman enters a house, which was nothing but a big room with some tree trunks supporting the roof.

The woman puts Tom down somewhere near a fireplace. Then she sits down at a table across the room and looks at the baby like it was something to dispose of, but she sights and starts mumbling something which Tom only overheard “…damn Marco….”.

The woman’s house was one that looked like it was barely standing and could collapse anytime and had the bare minimum inside to shelter only one person.

After a few months of staying in there, Tom learned again how to walk and that woman turned out to be his mother, who was also a hooker for a living.

At this point he realized that this was no “normal” reincarnation and that he was transported to a parallel universe like in some kind of isekai themed anime.

When his mother was out having affairs with people, Tom was trying to make plans for his future in this parallel world.

He also observed that people were not using cars, and that they were using carriages dragged by horses or he just lives in a bad part of the town where people couldn’t afford them and he was planning to invent them here and become rich.

Months pass and Tom anticipates that he has been in this world for around a year and since his mother saw him walking around she decided that he was old enough to relieve her anger by hitting him. When this first happened he realized that his mind was as sensible as a normal 1 year old kid.

Today was like all the other days for our Tom. Wakes up, takes some bread from a shelf and some tap water and eats.

In the back yard of the house he found a pretty wide ladder that was leaned to one of the house’s walls. He was using it as a pull-up bar so for when the main heroine will appear he will have nice muscles. Idea which he also found comical but he has seen enough anime to understand that he was the protagonist that will meet a heroine and live happily ever after.

Tom:”Well today fells like something interesting will finally happen. It’s just something in the air that tells me that. Well of course I wish that the police would come to the woman I don’t even know the name of and unfortunately have to call a mother will come and be like ”Oh I am sorry we mixed up the babies, here’s yours and well take Tom and go to some rich family and have a harem. BOY I CANNOT WAIT! FINNALY AFTER A YEAR! says to himself ”

Later that night his mother comes home with a man which it’s not completely out of the ordinary and he just goes to sit on the bench in the back of his house to try to sleep.

Some time passes and Tom hears the screams of his mother, but he tries to refrain himself to take a look because, well he does not want to have anything to do with anything she does and just moves from the bench and hid behind a bush trying to think of something else.

The screaming just did not stop so he wants to see if that was some kind of play but saw that the man was pretty much raping her and then that man looks directly at him thru the little window he was peeking in and stabs her in the neck with a knife and starts to put his pants back up.

Tom panicked and started to run towards the street and a few dozen of steps he realizes that is impossible to outrun an adult in a baby body so he jumps in some tall grass, between a bunch of trees at the side of the road. He runs thru the grass and goes behind the next house’s back fence and hides there for a moment before continuing to walk straight along the back fence sense he was tired of running. At some point he sees a lake that had lots of plants that he could hide in so he just lies next to the lake, surrounded by plants and bugs, waiting for the next day.
