Later Hari was tied to an iron pillar; though it was the lousiest knot he has ever encountered, Hari never planned to escape, so it was irrelevant.

Then Hari's patience was once again put to test; he was blindfolded, and even his ears were plugged while his limbs were strapped to the chilly rusted iron pillar.

He hung his head down and waited, inside he was inching to break-free and trash the kidnapper, but the curiosity to find was this entire kidnap stunt stopped his tracks; so all he could do was grudgingly bare this deafening silence.

Finally, the mysterious kidnapper somehow broke the chains around his hands, and a few minutes later, he was thrown in the air. Hari regretted playing along, but fortunately for him, he was caught by someone and gently placed on the floor.

His blindfold and earplugs were first removed before the belt fastening his legs. Still, Hari didn't open his eyes he decided to wait till he identities both the party before waking up.

The first sound he heard after an hour painful silence was a shrill, ear-piercing voice, giving out his sagely advice.

"Little missy here's a piece of advice from a senior, remove these measly mortals from your life; disassociate from them; it will be nothing but glaring weakness exposed enticing the innocent guys like me to exploit..... uh uh, you shitty cunt dare to cheat. Where's the real Black Rutra seed."

Hari was astonished, he never imagined that the small seed sold in his auction could cause so much of chaos, but he skillfully concealed everything and continued to pretend as unconscious.

While secretly spectating everything, he really didn't want to get involved in this mess; Ori Realm was still an inexplicable monster in his perspective.

Along with the surprise, his anger also went rose; he has never encountered such ballast disdain towards their fellow humans, albeit weaker ones.

'It's not only going to be an unforgettable lesson; it'll also be the last lesson in your life.'

Endless Killing intent surged in Hari's heart, as he swore to kill the guy mentally.

"Miss. I've changed my mind; I'll forgive you and your husband if you were kind enough to gift me the blade in your hand."

The next instant, he witnessed an epic stomach-churning, puke-inducing battle…er, no toy swordplay between his wife and the black-hood.

Hari was stunned speechless, 'What's going on?? Maybe it's a film shooting or something? But then why is there battle intent in air.. this doesn't make any sense.'

Their swordplay was full of holes, mostly emphasized on flashiness and elegance. It was painful to even watch this fight Hari would be more than willing to be gagged instead spectating the kindergarten fight.

But there was an exciting development later; Shreya was sneaked upon and received a small cut, but her body didn't seem to have even a little bit of poison immunity.

Then even more surprisingly she used her hidden card, with each clash her sword sent out ice shards with trying to immobilize the hooded guy by transmitting the chill through the metal dagger.

Strangely, enough her swordplay suddenly became more complicated and unpredictable, but it wasn't full; it was like a pirated version of a Great Technique. The technique was filled with unfamiliarity; moreover, each slash lacked the intent behind them.

Nevertheless, he was fascinated to see something this supernatural; though he had mentally built a fictional world it was still a far cry from seeing the real one, maybe he wasn't very creative with ideas.

He silently watched their battle… er... Toy war, it was still full of holes, but Shreya miracle work made their confrontation a bit presentable.

A couple of minutes later, Shreya seemed to have pushed herself a bit too hard. She was heavily panting, and even the icy sheen on her blade seem to have weakened.

He believed she still had a couple of cards, but Hari couldn't possibly bring her to any harm, just for his amusement.

"Hey you, I'll give you 3 mins to recover. Let have a fair fight."

Hari slowly strolled to the hooded guy and waited there for three minutes; this wasn't a senseless move, in fact, this was a very thought of a plan of action.

Had Hari directly attacked, it would have mostly been a failure. Being cornered and pushed back by Shreya his senses would be in extreme alert, but the three minutes' will recover his stamina and will also bring down his vigilance.

This is bound to happen given the disdain and contempt Hari felt from that guy.

Thus precisely three minutes later he made his move.

'Flash Steps'

Then he vanished from the ground and moved in the night like a phantom-like ghastly track.

The hooded guy was 30 meters away, yet Hari covered the distance in few seconds, though it drained his stamina quickly; 'Flash Steps' was the quickest movement technique in his arsenal.

Hari's opponent was taken aback and strained his eyes to find his target; unfortunately for him, Hari had long gone past him.

Sneaking behind his target without alerting Hari plunged a long thorn into his neck. The guy seemed a bit more resilient, though he fell he still retained his conscious the damage was done.

"Remember, you died in the hands of a mortal."

Then he stabbed the dart straight to his heart, killing the guy instantly.

Shreya had frozen from fright; the guy before her, her Husband-in-name, murdered a man. That's not the issue, even she had killed a few men, but sheer familiarity and those unfazed eyes gave sent chills down the spine.

Hari walked over and stared into her eyes a few seconds before breaking the truce with a mild cough.

*cough*

"Shreya do you have any special way to clean up?"

Hari was really helpless, though he could clean it up he was still wary was that people of the other world might have some supernatural ability to track him down.

Shreya rolled her eyes in response and moved to the corpse and pulled out a small pouch and the dagger from the carcass. Then she took a small vail from her pockets and poured a few drops on to the corpse. A few seconds later, the body wholly decomposed into black sludge.

Hari was popping his eyes; caught off guard by the bizarre scene that played out.

"It's 'Cadaver's Green Acid' this liquid can decompose any dead body."

Shreya briefed about the liquid before putting back inside. Hari sucked in a deep breath while she smiled in response.

Hari took care of the truck; he blew the car erasing all the evidence.

The ride back home was uneventful and peaceful, empty, silent roads were soothing after such tension night. Neither of them broke the silence, they somehow came to an unspoken agreement to discuss everything the coming morning.

Both of them needs to straighten out their thought process, it's not like they can just blabber all their secrets, and many other things need to be considered.

By the time they reached the home it was 1:30 am. In that cold night, a white dog was sitting erect outside the door opened ajar. Shreya was too anxious that she forgot to close the doors.

Shemo was faithfully guarding the home, it just jumped to Shreya and started licking her face. Shreya was guilty of letting the poor dog freezing in the cold.

Then all three of them went to the house, as usual, Shemo and Shreya walked to one room while Hari entered his room.
