Chapter 4: The Magical Girl Gets A Triple Surprise

After that exciting battle with Fafnir Sae had gone to sleep and woke up due to the sound of someone entering her bedroom by the time she had opened her eyes, she saw a girl with high ponytailed crimson hair with part of it covering one side of her face, she was naked straddling her on the bed and looked totally uninterested in the world, this was Fafnir who she had fought yesterday. Fafnir bowed at her with seldom expression on her emotionless face.

“I apologize for intruding your room Master, this Fafnir just wanted to acknowledge you as her new master!”

“Ugh”

First of all Fafnir was not in her usual state as she had regressed to a child of 10 years of age and was again naked, this would certainly create confusion upon one who saw this even if they were girls. Sae could only tilt her head to this as a headache was beginning to come around.

“F-Fine but let us get you some clothes ok-“

“Good morning Sae-chan I want to talk to you”

“?!!!”

Sae tried everything she could to make Fafnir get off but the dragon girl was stubborn in staying that position, to Rin who saw this she froze with her eyes widening as she stares at a naked girl straddling Sae who now gave up on even trying to push her off, her mouth dropped as she looked at this scene that could only happen in a manga.

“Fu………”

“Fu?”

“Fufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufufu Hoshikawa-kun could tell me why you must do lewd things to such a young girl and you are a girl to top it off, oh my what may I do to correct you?”

“STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!IT’S NOT HOW IT LOOKS I AM NOT THAT TYPE OF GIRL BELIEVE ME!!!!”

Fafnir got off the bed and stood right in front of Rin who was like a Deva King statue. The two stared down at each other for a long time.

“This Fafnir shall not lose”

Sae hastily explained the situation to Rin who started to calm down by then, after finishing her explanation Rin smiled at her.

“As usual even in this world you are stunning”

“This world?Don’t tell me-“

“Yes Sae I remember everything from my past life, and all that you did no that we did together as Mahou shoujo. I guess your fight with Fafnir here triggered it, your figure was just as brilliant as when you rescued me from that monster”

It was at this moment that Rin got hugged by Sae who was shedding tears at the moment, she had buried it in her heart that she would never cry but today was just too much as that Rin finally remembered who she was, she wasn’t just a stranger anymore but now she was her best friend.

“UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!BAKA I TOLD YOU THERE WAS ANOTHER WAY TO DEFEAT BLACK KITTY BUT YOU DIDN’T LISTEN TO ME, YOU MADE ME SUFFER BY DYING BAAAAKA!!!! I WAS SO ALONE AND EVERYONE HAD EXPECTATIONS ON ME!!!!!HUUUUWAAAAAAH!!!”

After being unsightly for once Sae had returned to her usual form, even Fafnir was told of their circumstances was moved by their reunion.

“Ahem now that you remember what do we do now?”

“The same as everyday adventure and explore this world”

Sae points at the blank faced Fafnir.

“We bring her along with a special condition”

“She must be our maid”

After making Stolas wear the maid uniform that the girls bought in a noble fashion store they headed to the adventurer’s guild which was packed, as everyone had to take their rewards. Those who were rookies rejoiced they could live off of something for while while the veterans merely grinned in satisfaction that they could start retiring soon but all of that stopped as Sae stepped inside everyone froze and took their swords.

(THEY PLAN TO ATTACK ME?!!)

It was the opposite to her thoughts as they lifted their swords high into the air with stern faces as if in respect to her. She walked amongst them with the receptionist bowing right before her.

“Thank you for saving this town from certain doom Sae Hoshikawa-sama, without you millions of lives would have perished we would like to thank you by making you our guild master”

“Eh?I decline”

“We thought as much, so how about making your very own high ranking A class adventurer this town would at least thank you with that”

“Fufufu it seems this guild got you good Sae”

“Yeah it did”

“Ojou-chan what do you say huh?”

“Yeah you are our pride and heart after all!!”

“Please Ojouchan become a famous A class adventurer!!”

“Okay okay I get it already I will become your A class adventurer”

The guild broke out into a roar as they rejoiced at the birth of their very own high class adventurer, it was right after the announcement of the party that Sae realizes just how much she had missing out, as a Mahou shoujo she would just say some fake and cheesy heroine lines but here she was actually enjoying the feeling of saving people without the consequences truly she had grown twisted in earth.

“THE ROYAL COURT MAGE IS HERE!!!!!!THE ROYAL COURT MAGE IS HEEEEEEEEERE!!!”

A sudden shout rang out with everyone turning their heads at the rookie who saw her enter town , the carriage stopped right at the guild. So I am finally gonna meet someone of high rank here huh? Sae thinks idly as she walks outside to greet the Royal Court Mage. She bows before her doing a cutesy with Rin and Stolas doing the same.

“It may be rude but yes I am the one who defeated the former demon general, my name is Hoshikawa Sae”

Sae felt that her deed had spread all the way to the royal castle so being polite to the country’s strongest mage would not be so bad. But if she were to ask her something outrageous she would beat her up it was that simple.

“Actually its not that simple fufufu”

““EH?!!!!!!SENSEI?!!!!””

“Hashiburi desu ne Sae-oneechan, Rin-oneechan”

And there she was dressed in a black shirt with denim jeans in the lab coat she usually wore, her dark violet hair was in twin tails as her eyes were cat like gold not the same as Stolas’ with a charming smile on her face her name was Yoshiko Hanezawa, she used to be called Goddess Mahou Shoujo Athena as well as the mentor of both Sae and Rin in all aspects she was stronger but died in order to protect them both.

“Ara?Surprised?Why did I appear here in this world like you guys I am guessing you did the same thing just as I did Sae-chan whilst Rin died unnaturally with a separation of 15 years each I guess I am your senpai once more fufufu”

This was no more on the level of getting surprised and sighing it was now on the level of actually asking questions, where was nefarious Black Kitty but like before her sensei had already read her mind.

“Oh do not worry about her, she is currently a child like that dragon over there although she still has her memories she lost the hatred for magical girls”

“Where is she?”

“The Theocracy of Lunamis, acting as the battle saint”

“Ooooooooooh didn’t things turn out boring”

Not even noticing the charged mana that Sae held in her hand she gave her sensei a uppercut that held to her flying high up into the sky, after stopping her own speed using magic Yoshiko strengths her eyesight to spot Sae but that was impossible as she got caught into another punch leading her fly up even higher before receiving a kick that sent her crashing down the ground creating a huge crater.

“Haaaaaaaaaaaaaah I did not expect you to grow so strong that my own power is actually second to yours”

“Ne Athena-sensei we honestly thought you died but you tricked us so you at least deserved that “

“True, but you did the same didn’t you Rin your power has already started to boost your body every minute cause this world is saturated in an abundance of mana”

“Yeah I had to do that cause I would turn into a demon who eats humans per week to gain mana”

“Yup I am so sorry I didn’t explain that”

Athena-sensei stood up from where she had fallen restoring her form back to its original uninjured state it was such that even Sae thought of it as comedic. As they teleported back to the town where everyone was continuing their party, Rin and Stolas were the only ones who received them well.

“So Sensei why did you come all the way here for huh?”

“To apologize and to make sure you do not make contact with the Maou”

“I see, I am not the type of girl who will proactively search for trouble so do not worry about me”

“Yeah yeah and we are supposed to go to the royal capital today”

“Wait what?”

“You heard me royal capital today”

“NANIIIIIIII?!!!!!!”

“Yeah the king wants to see your face, if not I cannot retire”

“You just want to push the work on me ain’t you?”

“No dear student of mine he just wants to tell you the same stuff I told you”

“I see then its fine”

“Wow that escalated quickly”

“Yes it did”

“The carriage is ready Ma’am”

“Got it, pack your things we are leaving for the royal capital”

As fast as things were moving Sae just sighed at the mental damage these surprises were giving her, she ordered a juice called marmaluke which tasted a lot like the combination of grape and citrus. Like her day was starting to begin or something.

Hello there this is the author Blake I would like to-eh Sae-chan, Rin-chan what are you two doing here?!

Sae: Blake-chan we are now going to be running the author’s note from now on!!

Rin: Go read something to improve your writing !!

Wait is this………….that mutiny thing?!Uwah?! *mouth gets covered and is taken away from the spot*
