"What is this place?" Eumi asks as she looks at the floating bookshelves. Yes, they were floating around as if there were no gravity pulling them to the floor.

If there is no gravity binding them into the ground, then how come we are not floating? Are we heavier than these shelves?

Nah, it can't be. Just by looking at the shelves, you could see that they are heavier than both of us.

But really…

"But how are they floating?" I thought to myself. Is there any string attached on the top of each shelf?

This lady does not know how are these shelves flying around.

As I walk around to find the staircase leading to the next floor, I suddenly felt like I'm being watched by someone. I turn back and sees Eumi walking up behind me. She was looking around at the bookshelves but not looking at me.

Weird.

"Eumi" I call out Eumi's name as I look at her.

Eumi looks at me in response. "What is it?" She asks me.

"Have you noticed anything on this floor?" I ask her.

Eumi shakes her head before saying, "Except for the floating bookshelves, there's nothing unusual across the floor."

Err… then how come I felt something earlier?

Is it just my imagination perhaps?

Sigh… I really am getting delusional…

I quicken up my pace to find the exit to this floor. Eumi also quickens up her pace as she follows me around.

Like an endless maze, I can't seem to find the exit. It was as if the room itself was a gigantic maze.

I look above, only to find out more bookshelves floating like cubes.

"Did you hear that?" Eumi said to me. Hear what? Bookshelves crashing into one another?

"Hear what?" I said to her. Really, this lady's hearing is poor sometimes okay?

"A metallic sound. Shhh…." Eumi said to me as she silences me by covering my mouth. Err…

Since there's nothing for me to do, I quickly shut myself up from asking questions and listen closely to my surroundings.

As I listen to the surroundings, I hear multiple bookshelves crashing into one another. As for the metallic sound Eumi said to me, I did not hear it.

This lady did not hear metallic sounds ya know? Are you fooling me?

"I did no—" As I am about to say that I didn't hear anything metallic to Eumi, a loud sound of something crashing instantly stopped me from talking.

*Crash!* Multiple bookshelves above us crash into one another, creating a domino effect.

Will you please stop that! This lady is trying to talk you know?

I look above to see who's the one purposely crashing the bookshelves above us.

"Eh?" I was dumbfounded when I saw Eidenweiss floating at us. He was silent and instead of talking to us, he was looking down on us as if we were some sort of ant.

"True Wie—" Halfway Eumi's words, Eidenweiss suddenly throws his weapon towards us, creating a small crater in front of us.

F*ck! Have you gone mad? Are you actually killing us?

After he threw his weapon, he suddenly dashes towards us. As he dashes at us, I suddenly had a feeling that he would actually kill us.

Instantly, I had a very bad premonition about this.

"Run!" I shouted as I began to run away from the dashing Eidenweiss. Eumi, on the other hand, also run as she too had a premonition.

*Bam!* A large crater was formed as Eidenweiss crashes himself onto the floor. There was a thick amount of smoke near Eidenweiss as he dived to the floor.

Like a mouse being cornered, I quickly pull out the dagger from its sheath. Eumi takes her fan out from her sleeve. It seems that the situation here is getting serious.

Wait… is this the surprise boss? Well then, surprise boss check! Haha..

F*ck! Why am I thinking about that right now! Are you kidding me? Arghhhh!

*Swoooosh!* Eidenweiss' weapon suddenly attacks us and tries to take us down. Instantly, I prepare my dagger to block the oncoming weapons while Eumi takes out talismans in her sleeves.

As Eidenweiss' weapon flies towards us, the stance of the weapon quickly changes, with the rapier lunging to me while the sword follows suit.

*Bang!* Just as the two weapons crashes to my body and stabs me, an invisible dome appears before me, blocking the two weapons from killing me. F*ck! That was close!

Thank god a barrier appeared out of nowhere or else. Thank you Eumi!

I look at Eumi who was pulling out another set of talismans. These talismans had a color of jade white but the color of the words on the talismans was color green.

"「Speed.」" She said as she performs a hand gesture to the talismans. After gesturing, the words on the talisman glows to light and began burning itself.

Instantly, I felt my body being lighter than before. Is this the effect of the talisman perhaps?

"Arrgghhhh!!!" Out from nowhere, Eidenweiss suddenly lunges himself to me. F*ck! Are you really trying to kill me?!

As he lunges himself at me, I dash to my left side, narrowly evading Eidenweiss' attack.

F*ck! This lady is good at ga*es you f*cker! F*ck you!

As he flies himself away from us, Eumi instantly holds my hand as we run away from the opposite direction. F*ck! My heart is clearly pounding hard!

"We need to run!" Eumi said to me while tightly holding my hands as we go away from Eidenweiss. No sh*t we're gonna run away from that maniac.

*Crash!* Another set of bookshelves crashes at each other near us, causing to block our path away from escaping Eidenweiss' maniac mode. Seriously?

Is this some sort of bad luck?

"Arghhhh!!!" I hear Eidenweiss shouting like a beast. After shouting, I see him madly dashing towards us while equipping his weapon.

I take my hand away from Eumi's hand and began to push Eumi to my left side as I try to counter or parry Eidenweiss' attacks.

*Cling!* A sound of a metal grinding itself to another metal was heard. Yep, I managed to parry Eidenweiss' longsword. As for his rapier however…

F*ck! I barely managed to survive as the rapier missed its target: Me. It was narrowly hitting the waist part of my robe. Thank god my evasion stat is maxed out!

"Arghhhh…." Eidenweiss suddenly pushes his longsword to my dagger, making my dagger and right arm unable to move due to the force his longsword is pushing to my dagger.

As Eidenweiss continuously pushes his longsword at my dagger, Eumi opens her fan and began attacking Eidenweiss on the back.

Eidenweiss, in return, uses his rapier to block out Eumi by thrusting his rapier near her weak points.

As such, Eumi can't do anything but to use her talismans to attack Eidenweiss from afar due to the fact that Eidenweiss' rapier can stab her.

While Eidenweiss constantly defends himself from the attacks of the talismans, I kick his left knee out using one of my legs. As his knee was kicked by one of my legs, his pressure in the longsword became weak, allowing me to push the longsword away from me as I quickly step back to evade Eidenweiss' attacks.

Without any warning, Eidenweiss suddenly became strong again and attacks me using his longsword. However, as I managed to evade his sword by rolling to the left side, his attack did not hit me.

F*ck you! F*ck you! I learned to roll sideways by playing souls dark!

After attacking me, Eidenweiss makes another move, causing his rapier to quickly move from defending him to stabbing me.

Because I can't defend the rapier's stab using my dagger, I once again roll to the left side, barely evading Eidenweiss' attack.

"Arggghhh!!!" Eidenweiss screams as Eumi attacks her with her fan. There were also multiple talismans floating beside Eumi that keeps attacking Eidenweiss' back, causing Eidenweiss to scream.

Suddenly, After screaming, Eidenweiss quickly moves side to side, evading the talisman's attack and Eumi's attack.

While evading the barrage of attacks from side to side, Eidenweiss prepares his longsword as he tries to behead Eumi.

Quickly, I stood up and began pulling Eumi away from her doom. F*ck! That was close! Are you f*cking kidding me!

Suddenly, I felt something rushing to my heart like a roaring wave while saving Eumi from her impending doom. It was my blood, roaring as they rush to my heart.

I felt my blood rushing towards my heart as it beats louder and louder. F*ck! Is this what they call an adrenaline rush?

More and more blood rushes to my heart, making my heart beat louder and louder. As soon as my heart became loud for me to hear, the time around me seemingly slowed down.

As the time goes slower and slower, I only hear my heart beating slowly. It was as if I'm in a small room together with my heart. It was this feeling that I'm getting at.

My heart was loudly beating, enough to make me explode.

Yep, I am in a state of an adrenaline rush.

I grin widely as I see everything slowed down around me. I could see Eidenweiss slowly evading every attack of each talisman while I'm pulling Eumi away from Eidenweiss' attack.

Ahahahahaha! How come you are so slow now? F*cking weak!

Quickly, I prepare my dagger and began praying to myself that I survive Eidenweiss attacks.

After praying, I quickly move around Eidenweiss while he slowly uses both of his longsword and rapier to kill me. So slow! You're too slow!

Like a maniac who just wants to kill someone, I evade every attacks Eidenweiss made and began stabbing his arm to disarm him. Faster! Faster! Ahahahahaha!

Quickly, I kick his knees once again to make him stagger. As I kick his knees, I took an opportunity to stab his waist while he staggers. Re*ard, you're too slow.

After stabbing his waist, I deeply cut his waist by moving the dagger sideways. Blood slowly spills out everywhere as I cut his waist.

Once again, after making a large cut on his waist, I kick him to once again, make him stagger on the floor. As I kick him, I defend myself using my dagger completely filled with blood from the longsword in his hand.

Because time was slowed down, I easily block the incoming longsword and made a riposte by severely cutting down his hand and thus, instantly disarming himself. How come your body is so smooth as butter? Ahahahahaha!

As I look more and more Eidenweiss' bloodied state, I widely grin to myself as I began my assault on him.

I hit his chest by using a roundhouse kick. As he was unable to defend himself due to the fact that he was disarmed, he slowly stumbles and was pushed to a short distance. However, he did not fly away as my kick is a light one.

After kicking him, I move closer to him as I prepare to thrust my dagger into his heart. As I finally began stabbing his heart, I pull out the dagger and once again, I thrust my dagger into his heart, stabbing him multiple times. F*ck you! F*ck you!

As he was stabbed multiple times in the heart, he instantly fell down and died, quickly ending the fight. You're too weak. Too weak! Ahahahaha!

Like someone who has seen hope, I merely stand in front of the dead Eidenweiss, smiling at him like some sort of maniac.

I am weird. You too are weird. Haha…

"Xiare?" I slowly hear Eumi's voice. Quickly, I turn to look at her and said, "Hmm?" while smiling.

Eumi, in turn, looks at me with a worried expression and said, "I.. don't like this…"

She then looks at me like someone who's guilty. Err… what did I do?

As I felt more and more blood rushing to my body, I calm myself down. Soon, time became faster and faster, returning itself to its original state where I can now see the talismans moving normally.

My adrenaline rush state finally ended.

I brush my head off and shakes my hair as I say, "I'm sorry about that. I was worried that you are going to die earlier so I did what I could to protect you." I made a peace sign after saying those words.

Eumi, who was scared, looks at me for a while before slowly nodding as she looks at me. Waa~ cute..

Ehem, anyways…

Looking at my robe filled with bloodstains, I simply glance at it before lending a hand to Eumi who's on the floor.

"Heave ho~" I murmur as I pull Eumi from the floor.

"Sister Xiare." Eumi looks at me before continuing, "Are you okay?"

Hmm? I'm better than ever ya know? Though I just feel a bit lightheaded.

"I'm okay." I smiled after saying that I'm okay to Eumi. Well yeah, except for being lightheaded and weary after pushing myself to the limits, I'm fully okay, right?

Right?

After that, Eumi collects the floating talismans around and places it back on her sleeves. Are those talismans reusable perhaps? Hmmm…

I look at Eumi's face. Cute. She was too cute.

Gently, I touch Eumi's cheeks. Eumi, on the other hand, did not mind me touching her cheeks and instead, she just look at me, smiling. Waaa~

Having such a cute little sister is truly a blessing, yeah? This lady agrees with your decision!
