《Moonlight Sword Sect》Intermission: A Conversation

≪ 3rd Person POV ≫
"Interesting." A man said while gazing to a floating orb in front of him.
It was the sect master of the Moonlight Sword Sect, Jin Exquivale Luna, or also known as 「Crescent Blood Moon.」
He was in another hall instead of the Hall of illuminating lights. The hall before him is completely different than before, with the symbol of the Moonlight Sword Sect on the floor made from glass and a dome completely painted with paintings depicting warriors fighting winged humans and black beings with black horns.
The outside can be easily seen even one looks at it from afar as the windows in this hall were so big that they were like walls themselves. However, if one looks on the windows while outside, one could not see the interior of this hall as a certain formation keeps the inside hidden away from prying eyes.
Instead of the seeing the interior, they would see pitch darkness instead.
Also, the pillars in this hall were completely different from the usual pillars that one sees every hall. The pillars were instead replaced by a statue of a man carrying the ceilings above it as if it's carrying the world.
There were also banners hanging at the ceilings. These banners represent each profession are established within the sect, ranging from a medical profession to a mysterious profession.
Currently, The sect master is watching the movements and actions of Eumi Hyare, Xiare Everheart and the Deva as they travel around by looking in the mirror. From time to time, he could be seen smiling as he looks at both Xiare and Eumi's actions.
His smile was a gentle smile that could pierce someone's heart.
"Sect Master, pardon me for interrupting you but there's someone calling you outside the hall doors." Someone said to the sect master.
"Mhhmm?" He replied back and looks at the one who spoke to him using his third eye. It was a man located near the hall doors kneeling at him.
The man bows at him before standing straight. Wearing a black robe and a bamboo hat, the man before the sect master is someone that could not afford to pick a fight with. Neither an average sect master could even compare themselves to the black-robed man.
"The treasurer's disciple wants to talk with you sect master. Should I let her enter?" The black robed man asks the sect master for permission. It was as if he was the guard of the palace or some sort.
Yes, the man before the sect master is currently assigned to protect the Sect Master's, Palace Halls. He controls the authority over such things such as letting one enter or not. However, in order to do that, he must first ask for permission from the sect master himself.
"Let her enter." The sect master said.
The black robed man bows again and says, "This one shall now let her enter the palace hall."
The sect master nods back in return.
After that, suddenly, the man vanishes as if he was never there in the first place. There were no signs of him leaving in the first place. In fact, he was like a ghost.

Even the door halls were left closed with no signs of being opened.
"That girl again. Sigh." Jin thought inside his head as he massages his forehead. He was thinking about the Moonlight Sword Sect main treasurer's disciple, Ciel Oris.
Ciel is an eighth realm cultivator nearing to become a ninth realm cultivator, which is just a realm below his disciple, Lux. She was considered a prodigy, having multiple talents such as calligraphy, singing, and poem-making.
Also, one noticeable feature on Ciel is that she's not a human. Yes, she is not a human but not a complete beast either. She was the combination of both human and a beast. A celestial beast to be exact.
Half-human and a half-moonlight fox to simplify.
Although ninety-percent of her were those of a human, her ears and eyes were like of those moonlight foxes. Also, she has multiple tails totaling up to nine tails when counted.
As the Moonlight Sword Sect just revolves around becoming the guides within the darkness, there was no discrimination among other races. There were even giants cultivating at the northern part of the sect, nearing the northern oceans where the emperor Thorum lives.
"Sect master, the treasurer's disciple is now here." The man talked to him using telepathy.
"I will wait." He said back to the man while thinking on how to deal with the treasurer's disciple.
Although he does not harbor a hatred or a dislike towards the fox girl, he was thinking on how to deal with her because she's too talkative when asking such things.
For a master who just wants a carefree life, being asked is one of his greatest threat. On his mind, the "being asked" threat scales to 7 over 10.
But even when faced with such a threat, the sect master replies back with no signs of arrogance. After all, there's no need to be arrogant.
He even smiles when talking to somebody as he tries to explain something. It was not a fake smile but rather, a genuine one.
Soon after, the hall door opens, revealing the same black-robed man from earlier and a fox girl wearing female exorcist clothes. She was like a shrine priestess on some mortal places, having a look of being a wisemen or a philosopher as if she already has lived long enough.
Both the fox girl and the black-robed man kneels in front of the master before bowing and standing up. The sect master nods at them in return.
"This one shall now leave this hall to not interrupt with your discussions. Pardon me for my intrusion." The man once again bows at the sect master and walks away while closing the hall doors.
"Why are you here?" The sect master asked the fox girl, Ciel.
Ciel, who was originally calm and collected, suddenly shows her fangs as she smiles, "Of course I came here to say hi to you sect master hahaha…" She scratches her head as her face lightly blushes.
"Do you really think I'm a fool for falling to your lies?" The sect master thought inside his head as he lightly smiles to Ciel.

While smiling, he summons a couch for Ciel to sit on. Ciel looks at the couch and nods at the sect master before sitting.
"Ummm… sir Luke came to the third floor of the treasury earlier and took a primal beast's horn. I came here to report it to you, sect master in case sir Luke is lying that you gave him a permission to enter the third floor of the treasury." Ciel said to the sect master as her eyes look above while recalling everything.
"It's for the northern oceans emperor's daughter." He thought as he said to Ciel, "Yes, I have given him permission to come to the third floor. Did he took anything other than that?"
Ciel shakes her head off before saying, "He only took the primal horn." She takes a quick breath before continuing, "Sect master, do you know what's the date today?"
"Celestial month, day fourteen." The sect master once again summons another couch facing the couch and the fox girl sitting on it. This time, he also summons a table, a set of tea and biscuits and finally, chocolates on the table.
The fox girl looks at the chocolates with shining eyes while smiling greatly at it, revealing her cute fangs.
After the items have been summoned, the sect master rose up from his throne and head to the couch to sit in front of the fox girl as they drink tea while eating chocolates and biscuits
"So, what are we discussing for today?" The sect master sits on the couch and began preparing tea for both him and the fox girl.
"Errr….." The fox girl Ciel looks away from the sect master and glances at the surroundings from time to time to avoid the sect master's eyes. She was having troubles saying the things she wants to say.
"Is it master Hyuxia's wedding?" The sect master said to her as he prepares the tea for her and him.
"Ah yes! Ahahahahaha…." The fox girl replies as she scratches her head. Her ears were twitching at the sound of the tea flowing to the cup.
"So, what do you want to talk about the wedding?" The sect master asks her before saying, "Here."
He then gives the cup filled with tea to Ciel, which she nods back to the sect master as a return before taking the cup of tea.
Both of them sips their tea in silence. After sipping it, Ciel puts her cup down while saying, "Are you coming there to congratulate them?"
"I have already congratulated them in the hall of lights. There's no need for me to go there." The sect master replies to her as he takes his time sipping the tea.
"Oh haha…." The fox girl laughs weakly.
Noticing her weak laugh, the sect master look at her before saying, "Do you want to come to the wedding?"
"Ah nononono. There's no need for me to go there haha…" The fox girl waves her hands to the sect master, meaning that she rejects his idea.
"Then why did you bring up the topic of the wedding?" The sect master said to her as he refills his cup with tea.
"Err…." The fox girl looks at the sect master before continuing, "I just want to be wed like them!"
Suddenly, the fox girl shuts her mouth by covering her mouth with her hands. She was shocked by what she has said to the sect master.
"Fool! Why am I thinking about that right now! I suddenly acted on impulse and now the sect master knows my secret! Idiot me! Arrrrrghhhh!" She silently cursed herself inside her head.
Instead of laughing at her, the sect master closes his eyes for a second, "Ehhh… It looks like the granddaughter of the old fortune master Shi finally have someone she loves huh.." He smiles at her blushing face as he opens his eyes again.
"No! Tha-tha-that's not what I mean to say! I just want to be wed like them in the future! Ahahahaha!" The fox girl laughs at her words.
"Arghh! Why am I like this right now! Am I really that stupid to tell my secrets and future plans to the sect master!?" She thought inside her head.
"Considering old Shi's behavior, I think he will approve the one you love no matter who he is. Just tell me when do you want to be wed." The sect master gave a thumbs up to the fox girl, making her blush more.
"Ahhh… I'm done for." The fox girl silently said to her head as she heard the sect master's words.
"So, tell me, when do you want to wed?" The sect master sips his refilled cup once again.
"I don't have a lover yet!" She shouted at the sect master. Although it was because of her sudden impulse, the sect master did not become angry but rather, was just chilling around, drinking tea.
"I see." The sect master replied to her shout. It was a gentle one as if he did not care being shouted at.
Suddenly, the sect master had a thought inside his head. "She does not have a lover but wants to get married? I see. I wonder if I can help her by having my foolish disciple as her lover" The sect master silently nods inside his mind. It was as if he had an agreement with his brain and heart.
Yes, besides him, only Ciel and a few among others know who the sect master's disciple is. Although considering the fact that the few others were the old masters of the sect knowing the sect master's disciple is normal, Cie seeing and knowing his disciple is kind of an accident.
However, because of this sudden thinking, the sect master suddenly blurted out words that made him know her secret.
"Do you want to marry my disciple?"
"Yes! Wha— Arghhhhhh!!!!"

Meanwhile, ancient and powerful forces clash in the shadows, racing across the globe to secure powerful artifacts capable of upending the foundations of the world. New chapters released every MWF. Sorry for the random tiny chapters. I structured and uploaded this as a series of scenes, some of which just didn't need to be very long. I could probably attach the "sub-scenes" to previous chapters, but that'd only be covering it up, so I'm not sure its worth it. Anyway if you find them annoying, let me know, and I'll put some more thought into it. I did, at least, make a point of always posting at least a thousand words on any given day (after I noticed the problem), which hopefully mitigates the problem.

The Youngest Pevensie (a narnia fanfiction)
Everyone knows the story of the Pevansie Siblings, their adventure to Narnia, Edmund being enchanted by the witch, Mr Tumnus and of course Aslan. Something everyone forgets is their youngest sibling Sophie. She was just a baby when her siblings were evacuated so she had to stay at home with her mother. However when Edmund and Peter got into a fight at the train station she was 4 and was next to her siblings when they were called back to lead Narnia again. This time she's along for the ride.I own the character Sophie Pevansie and no one else. All rights go to C.S Lewis for the storyline. I'm basing it off the movie.
