《Moonlight Sword Sect》Eumi's Journey To The Forbidden Mountains (4/5)

"Wake up. Wake up." I hear a soft voice waking me up.
I open my eyes up. As I open my eyes, I saw clouds above, smiling at me peacefully with their white colors.
"Am I in heaven?" I ask the voice that woke me up. I'm in heaven right?
"Yes. Yes, my dear, you are in heaven." The voice reply back with a gentle tone.
I softly let out my tears as I finally confirm that I died and left the former world. Wuwu… this lady here shall not forget my friends in the living world. I will keep my memories of you all in the special place in my heart. So please, do not forget this lady.
Gently, I started moving my head. As I move my head, I see sister Xiare's face looking at me.
"So sister Xiare too is also in heaven." I silently laugh. At least this lady has sister Xiare as a companion in heaven right?
"Yes, I too also died while crossing the chains and came to heaven like you Xiare." Sister Xiare gently looks at me with a worried expression. Wuuuu… Don't look at me like that, this lady will have her face blushing if you look at me like that.
"How did you die sister Xiare? I did not see you earlier." I ask sister Xiare with a curiosity in my eyes. I really did not see sister Xiare falling to the seas below.
"Errr…. about that…." Sister Xiare looks around and scratches her head while doing so. It seems she really died in a gruesome way huh…
"Did you get blown up by the wind earlier?" I ask again with this time, guessing about how she died.
"Ah yes! Something like that." She suddenly replies back with a soft laugh. I think she is hiding the fact of how she died. I feel pity for you sister Xiare.

"Say, how did you died?" Sister Xiare asks me while scratching her head while smiling foolishly.
I then respond back while recalling my memories just before I the moment I died. From the scene where sister Xiare got blown up by the wind to the scene where I fell from the shrine gate, I said it all to sister Xiare. Although her hand is covering her mouth, I can tell in a glance that she is laughing or not. I know my story is laughable so can you please stop doing that?
This lady here is being honest right now you know?
As I finally conclude my story, sister Xiare calms herself down and says, "Hey, since we are in heaven, how about you confess about the things you hid from me while I confess about the thing I hid from you."
"Since we're already in heaven, who cares about it right?" I think to myself as I gently rise up. However, sister Xiare stops me from doing so, saying, "Don't move your body yet. It's badly broken.
It looks like a fell pretty hard huh… Sigh… this lady really sure is unlucky.
"So, let's start confessing?" Sister Xiare smiles at me before clapping her hands, implying that I should go first.
"Sure." I smile at sister Xiare. I then began recalling about my past memories about the things I secretly hid from sister Xiare. Well, who cares about it since we're already in heaven right?
Although I won't tell sister Xiare about my real cultivation realm and my other secrets.
"Sister Xiare... I ummm…" I nervously speak and look at the smiling sister Xiare before continuing, "I secretly stole your sweets when you were not looking while we were looking around at every stall."

Will sister Xiare be angry about it?
Instead of being angry, sister Xiare instead thinks about something with her face not angry at my confession.
"Your turn Xiare." I smile back to the thinking Xiare. Sister Xiare then looks at me before saying, "Do you remember the yearly "sweet princess festival" we participated in?"
I recollect my memories as I search the "yearly sweet princess festival" in my mind palace. After a quick moment, I finally recall the scene where we participated as a candidate for the "cutest sweet princess." Unfortunately, we lost for being the cutest sweet princess but still, it was a good memory.
"Un." I reply back with a soft "Un."
"While you were on the stage, I ate all your sweets in the storage area." Sister Xiare sighs.
Eh? So that's why when I got back from the stage to the storage room to get my items and belongings, I did not notice my sweets being gone until the time we left home! Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!
Instantly, my mood became from a smiling one to an angry one. I then muster up my courage and started confessing from "I stole your money" to "I used your undergarment as a flag" to piss her off.
Although the "I used your undergarment as a flag" is a lie. Tee hee~
Like me, sister Xiare's face instantly became angry at me and started spouting nonsense such as, "I was there while you were singing weirdly in our room" to "I hate your idol."
Arghhhhhh! Why do you hate my idol fairy Hyuxia!! Suddenly, I felt my heart raging. As my heart rages, I stood up and began slandering Xiare's name by confessing about weird stuff.
Wait... Is the legendary scene the one who bamboozle someone gets bamboozled instead? Errrrrr….
For quite a while, both I and Xiare continued to slander each other.
Just as I am going to say my next "confession" to Xiare, I accidentally switch my focus to Xiare to the surroundings around us.
"Eh? I'm still in this place?" I suddenly spoke, causing Xiare to stop talking.
I look in front of me. The shrine was still there. Also the godda— oops, the chains and shrine gates too.
Wait… then does that mean that I'm not in heaven and not yet dead?
I look at Xiare who's smiling innocently. Liar. You liar.
"Liar." I spoke in a cold tone.
"Eh… haha…." Xiare replies with a weird laugh.
"One silver worth of sweets." I said back to Xiare with a cold look.
"Seventy bronzes' worth?" She replies with a weak laugh. This lady here will not accept that worth of sweets.
"Ninety-eight." I spoke again.
"Eighty?"
"Ninety-five. Won't go any lower." I spoke with a cold look in my eyes. Currently, we are talking about how much will Xiare pay for the sweets I will buy in the future. Since sweets do not even cost a silver worth of coin and only costs at one copper at its minimum, that would mean that Xiare would be paying a lot.
Like someone who's losing their entire fortune, Xiare says, "deal" weakly. It's clear that she's going to be poor again after this.
That's what you get for lying to this lady, Xiare.
