《The Conqueror's Black Book》Chapter one: Blessings

Deep in a village near the outskirts of a mountain and in between a forest, a child was running around happily.
"Look at how fast I am Shelly! Cant catch me ahahahh."
The boy was running around the Village noisily followed by a monkey looking beast and was causing all kinds of trouble. Despite that, it seemed the rest of the villagers were already used to it.
This boy had some striking features, bronze skin tone yet black hair and deep purple eyes.
This young lad was named Zephyr. He was the son of a blacksmith of the village and was happily running around with his strange looking beast Shelly. Shelly had the shape of a monkey yet was covered with a green lines indented all over its body, strange yet beautiful.
"Zephyr come over here, its almost time for the ceremony, your brother is going soon."
An elderly man called out to Zephyr quite hoarsely. This man, Harz was the village elder and called out to Zephyr.
Here in this world of Viceria, there was a ceremony called summoning. In this world, humans and beasts all had the ceremony when they were typically around the age of ten years old and would awaken to mysterious powers. These powers are generally of the spirit world and there were three main types. These were enchantments, spirit beasts or armaments.
Enchantments were elements of the world that would be accustomed to and attuned to the ones who summoned it, there are a variety of elements and mysteries that fall into this category. The contents within enchantments is innumerable, it can be the average things like fire, water, air or it can even be physical boosts.
Spirit beasts, or possession is another word for it, is a summoning of a beast to aid one's self. This is a special one that works in special contracts, a person can normally make a contract with those beasts of the spirit world or those who wander the living world of Viceria. Adept summoners with high synchronicity even have the ability to fuse with their beast partners and boost their physical attributes. The range of strength of the beast one can acquire varies, they can get a small rat or something as lethal as a dragon.

The age they get it too is also worth noting as generally it is better to acquire a younger beast as that means it can mutate and acquire new skills over the course of its life.
Lastly is armaments. This also takes many forms as it can be either the weapon itself or a set of runes that boosts the weapon. People with these generally have a sharper and more capable weapon than those iron or steel weapons. A special talent would be the ones with the rare type of armaments called Runes.
Those who possess Runes are also able to impart runes on anything and make it better than normal and make all aspects elite.
These three classes are just normally what people of this world classify these summonings, something Zephyr's older brother was partaking in.
"Whoa Harz! Hardin is going, I almost forgot what day it is." Zephyr spoke.
There are a couple of ways of awakening to a summoning, one is naturally, and another is triggering it. Normally people are just circled up and brought together by a skilled person, namely a bishop of the church of Heinzman, and are awakened in the plaza.
When Zephyr arrived he looked at the filled plaza and after looking around for a couple of minutes, Shelly by his side quickly hooted at Zephyr and pointed in a direction. Following Shelly's turquoise finger, Zephyr moved to two figures in the crowd. A man standing 200 centimeters tall with a completely intimidating aura around him and another boy around the age of seven hugging his legs. The boy looked identical to Zephyr except that his eyes were red in color. Compared to the outgoing zephyr, this boy looked meek in comparison.
"Hey Ralph! We gotta be loud when we cheer on Hardin!"
"Ya...."
"Cmon! Add some more spark to it, some oomph! Zephyr said
"Ooh ooh!" Shelly added
"Your right, I'll try to cheer. Let's go Hardin..."Ralph's voice was normal until he looked at the swarming crowd and he lowered his head until it touched his chest and started murmuring.

"Enough joking, look, its almost time."
A deep husky voice came from the man, akin to a rumbling cannon. The man looked quite handsome but his aura scared way too many people from the vicinity. His hair reached his shoulders and he looked full of muscle and energy, giving off a noble feel and not like a villager at all despite his bland clothing. His eyes were a ocean blue that looked like they would never express any emotions of weakness.
This man is Zephyr's father, Renault von Reinhardt. He was apparently the villages blacksmith and guardsman but Zephyr had never seen anyone approach his dad for a job yet they still had a steady income and his dad was still well respected.
"Hey its starting."
"This is my favorite time of the year."
"Look at the festivities."
The people around Zephyr were getting rowdy because the event was starting.
Soon, an old man decked out in sky blue robes and a huge hat with a emblem of a golden lion on the left side of his chest came to the center of the plaza along forty some kids at the age of ten.
The old man was called bishop Joseph, an old man around the age of seventy, with a slumped back but gentle face. His face looked serious as he shouted out incantations:
"The world of spirits, we call thou, answer and bequeath light to these kids, Awaken!"
Golden lights surrounded Joseph as he sent his peculiar looking wand in an upward manner and a hole looked to be forming in the sky. There was massive rumbling as the usual blue, clear sky started turning bluish with the clouds giving off an angelic light. There was something of a rift opening up in the middle of the sky that caused a drastic change in the immediate vicinity. many things could be seen from the rift.
A terrifying presence was felt and everybody soon held their breath.
Pretty soon, a flashing red orb flew to a kid with brown hair and landed right in front of him and stayed motionless. The kid subconsciously reached out and claimed it within his hands and clenched his fist, a howling was formed as a saber toothed tiger was formed with flames caressing the body of the tiger. It closed its eyes in front of the boy and crowd and a ring of fire encircled them and moments later disappeared.
"I guess I'll call you Nobu, my names Rowan!
"Grr.. The tiger pleasantly growled and rubbed its head on the boy.
"Wow that's rare, a tiger!"
"Ya look at its grandeur!"
"How majestic!"
Right after seeing the boy Rowan go, more orbs of differing lights went to the kids and were claimed, and many monsters and animals were formed. Weapons like knives, axes, and even a spoon appeared while some general elements like fire and water appeared.
With a blast, three streaks of light went into a boy near the corner of the crowd of kids and most people missed it due to the already sparked crowd and images shown by the previous kids. However Renault and his two kids saw it as it was from someone they knew very well and were watching all this time. The boy looked calm and tidy, already dwarfing the kids his age in terms of height and was already a huge presence.
Even Zephyr had to admit this boy resembled his father more than the rest of his siblings. That boy was indeed Hardin. His eyes were a serene blue, just like his old man. Joseph had also noticed the phenomenon and looked on in shock, which was also the only time he showed an emotion different than his amiable one.
Joseph and Renault both reacted in the same way
"The three streaks of the spirit world!?!?" Both Joseph and Renault yelled simultaneously.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan
