-----------------------
Rayhan took the Tsufruian girl and flew off towards Yadrat. He was going there to learn a specific technique. That Technique was called 'Forced spirit Fusion'.
This technique allowed the user to separate and manipulate energy from their target, granting them the ability to do things such as undo Fusion or Absorption techniques and free trapped souls.
For the technique to be effective, the user must inflict damage upon their target. The technique could be used from a distance or could be used on an opponent by hitting them with physical blows.
When Rayhan reached planet Yadrat, a battle of life and death was going on between two fighters in the atmosphere of Yadrat. Two figures collided at extreme speeds in the yellow sky of the planet when a spaceship started to descend. The crowd that had gathered around to watch the fight became even more nervous because they thought that the invader's ally had come.
Rayhan had already felt the fight on the planet from a long distance that is why he had accelerated the spaceship to arrive faster.
He landed on the land and saw two fighters at power-level 150 million fighting each other. He wanted to help the yadrats if he could. Looking at two fighters he was easily able to distinguish who was he supposed to help.
'I guess I have no choice' He thought and used kaio-ken times 25. He gently knocked out the invader.
Before anything unexpected happened, he stated the obvious, "Hey, I come with no ill intentions towards your planet. I wanted to help you guys so I knocked him out."
Hearing him say that the yadrats sighed in relief and they teleported around him.
"Welcome guest, Thank you for what you have done. It might be rude to ask but why have you visited our planet?" a short pink-colored alien with whiskers asked.
"Oh haha... I was just passing by. When I sensed the battle I just wanted to help the natives. I like to travel, help people, and learn things from different races, you see. Haha.", He said while scratching the back of his head and added, "If I am not welcome here, I will just leave. Would not want to stay without the permit."

"Guest do not misunderstand. You are our savior. It would be too rude If we drive you off." said the Yadratian.
"Hey, Mister. Why does the fellow who was fighting that guy doesn't look like you guys at all?" Rayhan pointed at the guy who had been fighting the enemy before. The enemy's head had already been crushed.
"Oh haha. You see, we, Yadrats are of different kinds. He is a fighter-type Yadratian.", He replied.
Rayhan had always thought the Yadrats were physically weaker. Today, he had been greatly surprised. He and his female companion Misek were led to an old-looking Yadrat. This old-looking Yadrat was the leader of this bunch and he was the one who would have to grant permission for Rayhan to learn the Yadratian techniques.
Rayhan directly didn't ask for permission to learn the technique rather he stayed there and made it seem like he was fascinated by their ways. He made them feel that he truly wanted to learn their techniques due to his immense fondness for learning new things and his fascination with Yadratian techniques.
After promising that he would not leak the technique, Rayhan was naturally given the right to learn them as he had helped their race. They were a kind and generous race in general. Thus, they did not mind others learning their technique if learners seemed like good people and had helped them.
Rayhan started to train his spirit from then on. He didn't learn the instant transmission. He wanted to learn the 'Forced spirit fission' technique which required a tremendous amount of spirit control. It was going to be a rather useful technique in the future.
It was a hard technique. Rayhan wanted to give up after a year of training the forced spirit fission but he knew that learning this technique would not be beneficial for fighting future enemies but this technique would take synchronization of body and spirit to next level, inevitability increasing his ki control by a large margin. His ki control which was probably at the top-tier while compared to mortals would reach a godly realm.
As the years passed on, Rayhan was getting more frustrated because the Kaio-ken had hit a bottleneck after times 26. He was unable to grasp the 'Forced spirit fusion' technique. His only consolation was that his gravity level was modified to 300 times the normal gravity of the earth by Misek. Therefore, his power level was increasing more swiftly.

Years started to flow by.
Rayhan dedicated himself to training in spirit control.
He would occasionally spar with Kobra. Kobra was the fighting type Yadrat who had fought on the day that Rayhan had arrived.
He was finally able to master the 'Forced spirit fission' by the year 595.
His ki control had reached the next level. His kaio-ken barely made it to 27 times. His power level had reached 47 million.
He bade his goodbye to Planet Yadrat and flew towards the earth.
He had decided to get in Grand Kai's good books. He had concluded that with Grand Kai's help he might get a better contract with the other world which might help him attain god ki faster. Although he had a semblance of god ki inside his body, it was insignificant compared to King Kai. Although, it was far more than Kami.
When mortal's learned to harness God ki. They would only be able to use the god ki for a set amount of time after transforming. Gods could use the god ki like normal ki. They didn't have to transform to gain access to god ki. It was simply because gods innately possess the divine energy whereas mortals would have to transform for them to convert their ordinary ki into divine energy.
However, despite being a mortal Rayhan could utilize god ki like normal ki because of the contract. Although, he did it in a rather indirect manner. If he continued to exercise his materialization magic and kai kai. He might someday be able to have as much god ki as King Kai without a mortal's god transformation like Super Saiyan blue. The divine energy was like a muscle that would grow if it was used rigorously and regularly. This was one path that could lead him to surpass the gods. At least the Saiyan ones,
Another aspect of training that could lead him to greatness was 'void thought'. He had tried to spar with another clone while using this technique. Initially, the clone using the 'void thought' was not able to spar with another clone. But as the days went by, the clone started to react instinctively to punches and kicks. This was perhaps the starting line to ultra instinct. It might take hundreds of years to actually get there without a divine being's help.
He had gotten plenty of experience this time around on earth.
His natural gift for telekinesis had bloomed and he was pretty sure that he could take in a person with a 5 million power level just with his telekinetic abilities alone.
When Rayhan reached home, he fused with all the clones there and his power level naturally increased to 55 million. Although Rayhan had left home for around 15 years, it was like he had never left home because he had occasionally synchronized his brain with the clone while he was on Yadrat.
The tournament was going to happen in the next five years and he absolutely had to place in the top three. He knew that there were people with billion power levels there. He would be able to compete with them if he trained like mad for the next 5 years.
Therefore, he contacted the galactic patrol force and gave them proof that he had killed Lord Slug. He also said that he would give them Lord Slug's technology if they could provide him with recovery pods and recovery fluids for the next five years. After a lot of promise-making and bargaining, they finally agreed. However, their delivery would take a bit of time.
Rayhan went to King Kai's planet, stopped the practice of everything else, and focused on increasing the raw power level in the coming next five years.

8 211Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
8 186The Fine and Wholesome Activity of Chasing Shadows
A group of strangers gather in a ruined church. Each one chased a different rumor to find a mysterious storyteller. His stories begin while the moon hangs high and end just before dawn. Every tale features the supernatural but these stories are unexpectedly human. So yea, it's a series of interconnected short stories. This is my first time writing publicly like this so I'd love to hear some comments and criticism.

When he takes the time out to persue her, he discovers something unexpected and it's far from disappointing. The two cross paths in the most convinient way, how does their relationship go from being strictly work to strictly personal? Neither of them can say, but I can say it's a pretty interesting story.
