《A human's tale》Return

Rayhan talked about earth and humans. In return, Guru told him about Planet Namek.
Planet Namek had once been a beautiful meadow covered by Ajisa and the Namekians had developed a civilization capable of interstellar travel.
In Age 261, a horrible climate shift wiped out all the Namekians except Guru and a few Super Namekians who were exiled before. As for why they were exiled, Guru didn't elaborate on that.
Guru said that he was able to re-populate the planet, since Nameks reproduce asexually, giving birth to 66 Namekians. Guru's children have begun re-building the planet, especially the lush vegetation that had been destroyed in the storms.
Apparently, one unnamed Namekian, the child of Katas, a gifted child of the Dragon Clan, was sent off to Earth as a child to ensure his survival. Guru had believed himself to be the last Namek alive until he heard that the son of Katas had made it to Earth safely from Rayhan.
After all the chatting was done, Rayhan felt that it was okay to talk about dragon balls. So he asked, "Elder The first purpose of my visit has been fulfilled."
"There is another purpose?" Guru interrupted Rayhan in a calm voice.
"Naturally," Rayhan said.
"Do tell." said the grand elder.
"I have verified that Namek has something called dragon balls. I would like to use it." Rayhan said straightforwardly while pointing at a device and added, "I have developed this device which can find dragon balls"
"A marvelous device. However, I can not permit you to use the dragon balls. I have a question. You could have slaughtered our race and used the dragon ball. Why didn't you?" He said.
"I have no desire for violence. Especially against a peaceful race like yours." Rayhan said curtly.
"Come. I will check your memories before I decide whether to fulfill your request or not." Grand Elder Guru said.

Rayhan was confident that he would only be able to show his good side to Guru. So, he went ahead and let Guru see most of his memories from this life.
"Hmm... I will tell Tsuno to gather the dragon balls." Guru said.
"By the way, can you tell me how the Namekians came into possession of the dragon balls?" Rayhan asked.
"There is no harm telling you. Namekians during their galactic travels discovered a Super Dragon Ball and shaved off pieces to create the Namekian Dragon Balls which the gods permitted us to keep as we only used them amongst ourselves and we were a peaceful people. Of course, we are allowed to help a guest in need as well" Guru explained.
"You can assess someone's memories. What kind of ability is that?" Rayhan asked curiously.
"I am not sure myself. It just is. But some from our tribe develop these abilities when they grow up. It is a racial trait." He explained.
"I have seen Namekian having the ability to heal others during my stay. The Kami of our world can do a lot more. He can materialize things out of thin air. These abilities are usually possessed by Kais. How can Namekian have the abilities of god?" Rayhan asked.
Guru went in deep contemplation for a whole minute and he spoke "I am not sure but I have heard legends that we were favored by a god. There was also a myth that we were descendants of a god and a mortal. There is no validity in any of those but this is the only reason I can think of." Guru replied.
'Dragon god Zalama!' Suddenly this thought popped into his mind.
'Surely, Zalama must have bestowed them with these abilities or they are somehow related.' Rayhan concluded.
"Thank you Elder. I had really wanted to know this for some time." Rayhan thanked the elder.

The next day.
Tsuno had flown in with Dragon balls.
"Let's summon the Eternal Dragon", Rayhan said.
Guru looked at Nail and said, "Tsuno, You help him translate his wishes."
We went farther from the house. Tsuno placed the dragon balls in a place and said "Takkara-Puto Popporunga Pupiritto-Paro"
A much larger dragon than Shenron appeared in the sky. It had a towering presence. It spoke "You have collected all seven dragon balls. Now, As it is written, I shall grant 3 of your wishes."
'It's strange that Porunga himself speaks in common tongue while it is required to be spoken in namekian.' Rayhan thought.
"My first wish is that I want a technique that can let me survive in a vacuum of space", I said calmly.
Tsuno translated it in Namekian.
Soon Rayhan felt a tingling sensation in his mind and he found a technique in his mind.
This was a technique that could help Rayhan absorb energy just like the Namekians to replace the consumption of food. He was afraid that he would not be able to survive if he got stranded in vast empty vacuum space and there was no planet he could sense that he could teleport to.
This wish seemed silly but was useful in the dragon ball universe. Also, he didn't ask for a body that can survive in the vacuum of space because even a person with a power level of 5 can survive in the vacuum if he is given an oxygen tank. The body itself is not the problem but rather the lack of air. It was the common misconception in his previous world that the body would not be able to handle a vacuum and the blood vessel would go haywire.
"Your 1st wish has been granted. State your second wish." The dragon's voice reverberated.
"Increase my latent talent for gaining strength as much as you can," Rayhan said.
Tsumo translated.
There was no feeling in his body but Rayhan knew the wish had been granted because porunga said "Your 2nd wish had been granted. State your 3rd wish."
"Make me immune to all kinds of viruses and diseases," Rayhan asked.
'I don't want to die due to some heart virus.' Rayhan thought.
Rayhan didn't feel much change in his body but he knew the wish had been granted.
The dragon vanished and balls scattered.
Rayhan had guessed that Guru would not be able to unlock his potential as his power level was relatively higher. Rayhan had planned to get his potential unlocked by old supreme kai when the opportunity arose that is why he didn't want to bother Guru now. Also, Guru would not be able to increase his power by much anyways.
He stayed and trained in Namek for a few months and was surprised to find the result the increase in his latent potential had brought him. His power level which was 1.25 million had increased to 1.5 million in just over 5 months. It was an insane rate of growth for him.
Finally, he boarded the spaceship and punched earth's coordinates, and flew off on the journey back home.
In the spaceship, he trained the technique Porunga had given him. It was easy. Rayhan mastered it within a month while training his telekinesis and body at once using his clones.
There might have been better wishes which were more practical than he could have asked for but this was what he wanted at this moment. He wanted what he wanted. So he didn't question himself over this decision.

Every day, people appear from the storms that ravage the Endpoint. Whisked away from their own time and place by storms in their homelands, these newcomers find themselves in a hostile place made up of ruins and people from every timeline imaginable. Stranger still, they all soon discover they're carrying silver keys that grant each holder incredible powers. On Earth, most people have mundane excuses for the disappearances, but not Isaac. Having lost his brother Finn to one of these storms, Isaac becomes obsessed with finding a pattern. Not to prevent more people disappearing, but rather to get taken by the storms himself in order to find his brother. While chasing Finn’s faint trail, Isaac soon discovers how little he really knew about himself, his brother and how much loss one person can take. In Keys of the Endpoint there's portal fantasy, personal drama, magic (useable by everyone), plenty of combat, power progression, mysteries, factions, feuds and eventually war (in that order). The magic system is well defined and modular with nigh infinite combinations. The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on.
